I was nervous but once I spoke with them, I was at ease. Every part of the process with the Gutter Twins went smoothly. The gutter system I have consist of 2 long gutters each about 50' long on the North and South side of the house ... nothing complicated. 11/4/25 - Called Gutter Twins to get a quote. I should have listen to my head when the red flags started to go up. First, they demanded a 30% down payment, second, they said it would take two weeks to get to me. Nonetheless, I ignored my inner instincts and approved Job Number 3636 with the stipulation they try to see me as soon as possible since the North gutter is completely blocked and when it rains I get a 3' long waterfall running down the side of the building. 11/6/25 - They sent me a receipts showing they took out $114.75 from my credit card. (Exhibit 1) 11/6/25 - Received an email stating they had placed me on the schedule for 'Monday, November 10, 2025 arriving between 9:30 am and 10:30 am'. (Exhibit 2) 11/10/25 - Come Noon and no one showed up. I called their office and was first told they were delayed but would get to see me today. 3:00 pm, called the office again, this time they said the crew was having trouble finding my location but would get to me as soon as they figure out how to get to my house. This was utter nonsense. My address has 3 city locations that you can type in Google Map and find where I live. You can use Easton, Raubsville and Williams Township ... all will show up in google Map. They never showed up. Note I was the one calling them, they never called me to say they were not coming or delayed. 11/11/25 - Sent then screen shots of Google Map and my address, and a photo of my house. (Exhibit 3 and Exhibit 6) They sent an email saying I was schedule to get my gutters clean 'tomorrow'. 11/12/25 - Same thing, no one called and no one showed up. Now it is two days I've lost in earnings and time waiting for this company to come clean my gutters. 11/13/25 - In the morning received an email from Gutter Twins saying they were canceling the order (Exhibit 4). No explanation or reason for why they did not show up twice. Well I've had enough. Called Gutter Twin but no one picked up. Left a somewhat stern voice mail and demanded a refund of my deposit followed by an email (Exhibit 5). Completely irresponsible, have no sense of customer service, and definitely unprofessional. We signed a contract with Sure Fix on April 5th for painting, carpentry, tile work, plumbing and…read moreelectric work totaling over $25,000 to remodel the house we had just moved into. Sure Fix's performance was decidedly mixed, and we would not hire them again. 1) 5-6 WEEKS LONGER THAN ESTIMATED Before selecting Sure Fix, Henry the owner told us the project would take TWO TO THREE weeks. In reality, they took EIGHT WEEKS, or 3-4 times longer than the estimate. 2) LATENESS NOT DUE TO ADDITIONAL WORK We added and subtracted work items after the work began, and the net cost of additional work only totaled about 20% more than the original price--a workload justifying only a few days of extra labor, and not a 5-6 week overrun. 3) ON MANY DAYS, DID NO WORK ON OUR PROJECT There were many days when only 1 or 2 workmen worked for just a few hours, and at least 10 entire days when no workmen came at all. This was a matter of health for me, as I have asthma and was adversely affected by the dust that the prolonged work period exposed me to. 4) THEY JUGGLE MANY JOBS AT THE SAME TIME Tony, the project manager, justified his periodic abandonment of our project by writing: "We have several jobs going on and we have to be fair to everyone." We felt, however, that being fair to us would mean completing our project, without gaps of inactivity, in 2-3 weeks as promised--but that did not happen. Instead, Tony wrote on a day when no work happened: "I have other jobs to do." 5) MADE MAJOR MISTAKES COSTING US TIME AND/OR MONEY Among other mistakes, a whole week was lost when Sure Fix erred by ordering a custom countertop made of the wrong material. In the end, Henry charged us an extra $1,500 for the substitute higher-grade material we ultimately selected, but we would have been happy with our previous choice for $1,500 less. 6) STOPPED COMMUNICATING AFTER LAST PAYMENT, LEAVING WORK UNDONE After we made final payment, we could see that final touch-ups had been done with the wrong paint, and those touch-ups now required touching-up themselves. I texted Tony several times and left a voice mail for Henry to schedule the fixes still due, but neither of them bothered to answer me. SUMMARY Their workmen were friendly and the work was generally good. But on balance, we would certainly not hire Sure Fix again. Photos of some of the work that Sure Fix left uncorrected are attached.

Steve was referred by a neighbor. We had Steve paint the master bedroom and hallway. He and his…read morehelper did a nice job. He said to call him if there was anything that wasn't 100%. There were a few splashes of paint, but we cleaned it up. Didn't think it was a big deal. We thought he did a decent job. We then contracted (signed contract) him to prep and paint the ceilings in most of the house, paint an accent wall down the stairs in the entry and paint some outside trim. It took him over 4 months to start. He claimed he was very busy. He started the job the week before Christmas. He left two guys most of the time to do the work. They were respectful. They covered up most of the surfaces. Steve would check in with them. Though I'm not sure he checked their work. He should have seen the shoddy work and have the guys fix it then. But, first, the accent wall, we chose a dark color and Steve brought a satin finish which showed every brush mark and mars on the wall surface. Whoever cut the edges in the stairwell as well as the dining room ceiling glopped on the paint. There were two places in the hallway on the walls that the paint was glopped on. Plus the ceiling in the dining room, kitchen, and hallway had paint lines. I called him back to show him all the issues. He claimed it was from many years of the surface being painted. (It was only painted once before and there was no glopped up paint along the edges before he started.) It took him months to 'fix' the issues. He finally repainted the stairwell with a flat paint and looks much better (he is a professional painter, he should have known to use a flat paint with a dark color especially on such a large surface). He had his helper spackle the gooped up areas instead of sanding them down. In fact, one spot on the hallway wall is still not fixed. All of the nail pops he was supposed to repair all re-popped. I kept asking him when he was going to finish the job and paint the exterior spots and he said he did not want to 'start' any new jobs for me. BUT, that was in the contract he signed! I would NOT recommend Steve's Painting, LLC.
