We wanted to eat at a restaurant that overlooked Lake Travis and we chose to eat at Sundancer. Such an amazing atmosphere with a gorgeous view of the water and the bathrooms being a commercial freezer! How cool! Great service from the staff and an all-around good time. If you're in the Lakeway area, I recommend stopping in.

Free parking is available, but I am sure it's better to visit at night in the summer. We were 4 people, and after hiking, we were, I mean, hungry. They welcomed us and took us to the corner of the room, where families occupied a few tables. Since the tables were so close together, we just got up and told them we would sit outdoors. I was wondering why they insist on using only one side of the indoor dining room, since the rest of the room was empty. The outdoors were not that crowded. A family with their cute pets was enjoying the food and conversation. Thank God it was a nice breezy day. It was kind of a late lunch/early dinner time, so we decided to try a few things. Since we have never been to this place, our server recommended a few things. I was craving a burger and salad. Please take a look at the pictures. The food was not bad, and the service was very attentive. We ordered dessert with ice cream and enjoyed the ice cream more than the actual dessert. At the end, one of us went to the bathroom and came out fast, and said, " Don't use the bathroom. It's very dirty. That was sad. We took two hours to get here, and now we need to find another place to use the bathroom and wash our hands. So are we going back? I don't know. Front desk help was ok, could be friendlier. I mean, just a welcome smile will be appreciated.

Wahoo's is a very casual, eclectic spot with a California coastal vibe. It has a Mexican base, but…read moreyou can feel other influences mixed in. It's relaxed, unfussy, and easygoing. For an inexpensive place, it's pretty good. The portions were generous, and it works well if you're looking for a quick bite or small plates without spending a lot. What I enjoyed: The enchiladas were my favorite -- very good. The taquitos were also well done and flavorful. I asked for flour tortillas with butter, which they gladly brought out (just make sure to request it). The mango beer was excellent -- definitely a highlight. They offer happy hour drinks, and it wasn't overly busy when I went. They also have a large outdoor patio, which is nice if you enjoy sitting outside. Next door there appears to be more of a biker-style bar atmosphere, which gives the area a very casual, laid-back feel. There was a small mix-up at first -- I ordered a beef enchilada but was given chicken by mistake. However, they handled it properly and didn't charge me for the error, which I appreciated. I didn't try the fish tacos. The only reason is that I had read mixed reviews about the fish beforehand, so I chose other items instead. Overall, it's not fancy dining -- but for the price, the portions, and the relaxed vibe, it's a solid, affordable option.

They do have an incredibly large outdoor shaded seating area so I can only imagine it's amazing. I've been here twice for the fish tacos I had one burrito one time I think it was called onion Hawaiian beef roll or something like that I would skip that it was OK but I would skip that and go straight to the fish tacos get the more expensive ones they taste better. Also disappointed in the nachos they were just kind of a soggy mess nothing to write home about would've been better off just getting tacos instead. The chips don't hold up to the toppings. But live and learn. Staff here has been nice both times I've come in. Ordering is easy you order either at the bar or there's a person at the counter that can take your order and then you sit and wait with a number for your order to come out They do have a nice choice of salsa bar so you can make it hot or not depending on what you like there are jalapeños lines etc. Beer selection was lacking for a bar. Do you want light beer this light beer or a different light beer or an IPA ughhhh no. How about an Amber or something with flavor? All in all it's a cute bar to go to it's not my favorite one for tacos but they are still pretty good even though mine are better at home ha ha

Price - $10-15 for a plate of noodles without any protein and veggies. So it can easily add up to make your plate an extra $5-$10 if you add anything to it. 3. Ambiance - this is a bar and restaurant setting. Great for hang outs with friends and family. Dress code is casual. 4. Food - I had their CARBONARA PASTA and CHICKEN ARROSTO. With a side of salad and Garlic bread. Everything was good and tasty. The noodles were fresh, thick, and different. However, it was super salty. Did I pick the wrong sauce perhaps or was the chef a bit heavy handed on the salt? 5. Cleanliness - Dining area was outdoors in the back on a cold day. Good thing they had a heating lamp near by. They managed their tables well. No dirty plates lingering around. Restrooms were not bad either. Small, but clean. SUMMARY It's great that they make fresh noodles, but $20+ for a plate of noodles is a bit much. Overly paying for salty food, I rather go to a chain Italian restaurant. Not worth the hype in my opinion.

The salad bar is always fully stocked and clean. Since I work close by (8 minutes) I tend to eat at Jason's 2-3 times per week for the last 4 1/2 years. I've gotten to know several of the employees. They are all nice and friendly. I see Asst. Mgr. Carlton working the register, the food line, delivering food to the customers, and cleaning the tables. It's unusual to see a member of management to all of those tasks. David keeps the Drive-Thru hopping. I never see a line building up. When it's slow he will take for a front register or delivers food to the tables. Rommel and Lu are the masters of the food line. They are in a constant hustle to get the food made and out. Jarod is in continuous motion with taking orders, on the food line, or running dishes to the tables. They Yasmine keeps the salad bar super clean and stocked. She always has a friendly greeting and smile for me. The rest of the staff are friendly and always in motion. This crew seems to be a well oiled machine. The food is super fresh and served quickly. Jason's Deli is definitely on "My Keepers List".

Now the food... WOW. I got the tuna sub and added bacon (don't judge me--just try it ). It was SO good. The bread is what really got me though--soft, fluffy, and somehow perfect in every bite. Like... how is bread this good?? They loaded it up with fresh toppings like tomatoes and provolone, plus a side of onions and a dill pickle. I don't know what they're doing back there, but they need to keep doing it. Also, you can grab chips or other sides, so you're not leaving hungry--that's for sure. Moral of the story: if you're anywhere near Lakeway and craving a sub, just go. Trust me. Your taste buds will thank you

I took a minute to look over their sandwiches. I got the Yurkey bacon ranch. Told them to leave it dry, no condiments. I wasn't ready to eat it for a couple of hours. So I didn't want the bread to get soggy. I was asked if I wanted white or wheat bread. I choose wheat. A few minutes later they called my name with my sandwhich in a to go box in a bag. A few hours later when I was ready for a late lunch, I opened the box up and saw that the sandwich was a decent size. It was cut in half on an angle, and everything looked really good. Turkey, bacon, tomato, cheese and shredded lettuce. I added my own oil and vinegar. Was delicious. The bread was soft and the lettuce was crispy even when it sat in the fridge for a couple hours. I walked around and saw they had a patio. Completely covered with a roof and trees that shaded it too. The patio is huge and is shared with another business next door. Lots of space!
