I would give this Afghan place a 3.5 stars on an overall bases but they lost the half star because of not providing the white sauce. First impression when getting in... small place with some seating arrangements. Take a menu and once decided you will have to order and pay for it at the till and wait for the food. Food wise the price looked decent but we were their during lunch so I had their Kabab lunch special. You get 2 kabab with rice, salad and a pop. You can select to have both kabab chicken, beef or one each. You guess it! I went with one each. The kababs were very nice and taste. They did give us the red chili sauce but they weren't serving the white sauce. Even with the take out order I have to ask for the sauce. The service fast, there was enough seating and Parking. For my Muslim bro and sis - They serve Halal meat.

Moved into the area a year and a half ago. When doing some renovations a friend brought over a bunch of wraps. Well it is now my go to place. I eat there at least once a week! They are perfect when your hungry and need something fast. The wrap special is the best for a fast cheap eat. The wrap (chicken my fav) and pop. $5 plus tax. This is the lunch special, but I've paid the same price even after the lunch time special was up. The serving is perfect and not small in anyway. I always add rice so should you and hot sauce if you like that kick. Over all i recommend this place to everyone. When friends come over we phone an order in and pick up. Eat in or take out. Great service. Great price. I've eaten in and dish sizes are real good.

Bad burnt chicken. Will never come back here. Lady told me just cut the burnt piece out. Service is crap, taste like shit

Bad attitude. Ask me for tips. Burnt chicken. Dirty kitchen. Small portion for is pricing. Never will be back here

We came here after seeing it recommended on social media, especially for their lamb shank -- so of course, that's what we ordered. The portion was huge, so we shared one lamb shank between the two of us. The meat was tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious -- we ate every last bite. The serving was so big that we were completely stuffed by the end. We're definitely planning to come back here, but next time we'll be prepared to share dishes because the portions are just that generous. I'd highly recommend this place if you want to try some tasty and spicy food in Toronto.

I had the Lamb Chops Gold Combo and the portions were enormous and so delicious. Four succulent pieces of grilled lamb chops. My friend is a vegetarian so he had the Paneer Tikki Gold Combo. Four chunks of cheese with grilled vegetables. All Gold Combos come with rice, salad, lentil soup and fresh baked naan from the tandoor. Everything was so colourful and delicious. The naan was so huge! We came around 1pm on a Friday and it wasn't busy. Very spacious and lots of tables to choose from. The customer service at the counter was excellent and so appreciated. Big thanks to Wasim who always gave us a happy smile with our meals! I'm eager to return and introduce Kabul Express to more of my friends. Highly recommend!

Quite possibly the best meal I've had in Toronto so far…read more Kabob Guys is an Afghan grill on the corner of Richmond and Spadina, and it's exactly the kind of place I love discovering. The restaurant has a casual, welcoming feel with communal seating and a few two-top tables. While there were only a handful of people dining in, they were doing a brisk takeout business, and it was easy to see why. From the moment I walked in, everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. I ordered the chicken tandoori and the shish kebab with their flavorful garam rice, and everything was outstanding. Both kebabs were tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The garam rice was aromatic, fluffy, and packed with flavor. Everything arrived fresh, hot, and made to order, with just the right amount of spice to enhance the food without overpowering it. One thing I especially appreciated was finding a meal that felt fresh and wholesome. Sometimes it seems like every chicken place serves something fried or overly heavy, so this was exactly what I was looking for. The restaurant was spotless, the service was excellent, and the downtown location makes it an easy stop whether you're grabbing takeout or sitting down for a meal. This was easily my favorite meal in Toronto so far, and I'll definitely be back. If you're looking for authentic Afghan cuisine that's fresh, flavorful, and served with genuine hospitality, Kabob Guys is absolutely worth a visit.

Kabob Guys offers great quality Afghan cuisine with great quality and taste and affordable prices…read more The menu has a good selection of grilled chicken, beef tikka, shish kofta, chaplee, lamb chops, and combination plates, with most kabob meals served with basmati rice, salad, naan, and sauces. We ordered "Bolanee", "Wakil Kabob", "Chicken Qurma", and "Chaplee Wrap". It was a nice mix of Afghan dishes. Bolanee was a good way to start, while the Wakil gave us both tandoori chicken and shish kabob with rice, salad, naan, and sauces. The Chicken Qurma was warm and comforting, and the Chaplee Wrap was a good option for sandwich-lovers. Everything was fresh and perfectly marinated and grilled. The staff are friendly and attentive.
