I was in the market for a used washer and dryer set for my rental home and found this place while looking on Yelp. They have both new and used appliances which are reasonably priced and with stopping in for. The used appliances are towards the very back of the store and it's hit or miss. Luckily for me the day I went they had what I was looking for. I was in search of a front load white set since they would be installed in my kitchen area. They happened to have a Maytag set that was about 8-9 years old and in great condition. I bought the set for $650 and they offer delivery and install for $75 which was nice. They also have a standard 30 day warranty on their used appliances and you have the option to buy a longer warranty for about $80 for each appliance. I opted out of the extended warranty and the set o purchased has been working great since I bought them about 2 months ago. I purchased one of the more expensive refrigerators at the Evan's location. The employee helping us failed to mention there was a missing drawer. When the refrigerator was delivered, the delivery guys were also confused by this as if it were not a regular occurrence for these used appliances. We documented this on the delivery papers and I called the store for a new drawer, replacement refrigerator, or refund. Not having the drawer dramatically lowers my resale value if I were to ever need to sell this fridge. My options were to trade in the fridge for one of a lesser or greater value. If the fridge was of a greater value, I would have to pay the difference. If the fridge was of a lesser value, I would get no $$ back... Therefore, I would either be spending more money or receiving a lower valued fridge for the same price that I paid. This does not seem right or fair. The price Affordable Used Appliances was willing to refund me for the missing drawer was $31.25. Replacement drawers are selling from $80-$130 online. All options from Affordable Used Appliances to make this situation right fall short of a fair exchange. -Pay more for a higher valued fridge. -Receive a lower quality/priced fridge for NO $$ back -Receive a $31.25 refund for a $80-$130 part. As I did not have the funds to spend more money on the fridge, I opted for the $31.25 refund. The communication in attempting to actually get the $31.25 'refund' has been terrible. read more

If I could give ZERO starts I would. I came by to get a stove and dishwasher. Was told they were expecting the dishwasher I wanted on a truck that day. Given a price for both appliances. Called Hunter and he said they were unloading the truck and it should be able to see today. Came by an hour after opening and saw the dishwasher, asked someone to pay and was told they sold it. Um ok.. I was literally given a price and told to come by to view it. So I looked around and found a different set of appliances since my dishwasher was no longer available. The sales person said they couldn't take my money because Hunter was the only person working that area. So we waited. And three other people got in line ahead of us. I asked the front if someone else could take my money and was told no. Ok so you lost an $800 sale to make a $160 way to go on customer service! read more

My washing machine broke down on a Friday and after evaluating potential causes that were worth fixing, found it would be more cost effective to buy a used machine. Found this place online. Had good reviews. The store manager Oswaldo Diaz was pleasant and helpful and total non-pressure. He answered all of my questions with frankness and honesty. Didn't act like your normal sales person, which actually made me want to buy from him all the more. Went in on a Sunday, during the Corona Virus scare (Oswaldo had hand sanitizer available) and walked out with a decent washer and a great price to be installed on Tuesday. I highly recommend this place. They had a lot of inventory and if I had the extra cash, I would have bought some other appliances that I'll be in need of soon! read more

AWFUL!!!! Don't trust Cosmo and Blake. They sold us a washer with a hole in it and said they had no idea that it had a hole and wouldn't work... SOOO you sell appliances without checking them first??? A couple of weeks later the dryer stopped working. They said they would look for a new dryer and haven't called back yet. It's been four days. They also said the new dryer wouldn't have a warranty on it. Is that good customer service?? Do yourself a favor and save the headache and buy new. read more

HORRIBLE!! RUN from these people! We needed a dryer and have had nothing but a nightmare. We bought a used dryer and paid for delivery as well as a warranty. First dryer didn't heat up properly and then quit altogether in a couple days. We were told our warranty included free pick up and exchange- that turned out to be a lie. Picked a different one and also had to pay for delivery and pick up of the other one. They scheduled a week out, then called and said they couldn't deliver that day and had to do later (a Friday). Then they didn't come become they had the address wrong and said we would have to wait another week. We voiced our dissatisfaction but they didn't care. Then we said we would just pick up and they told us that was fine. We however would be responsible for our own disposal of the other one! We drove across town to pick it up and they couldn't find it! Finally after a HUGE runaround got told it was already loaded for delivery. THAT didn't happen and then they finally said we would get it on that Thursday. They came installed the new one and it DIDNT WORK. In fact it was broken on the back and couldn't have been tested as they claim they do. When my wife called upset Tyson the manager hung up on her! They have had our money for 3+ weeks, no dryer and they have refused to ever provide proper customer service even when they admit screwing up. They refuse to refund our money and are uncooperative. The delivery guys told us this happens a lot, and they always have mad customers. STAY AWAY from these guys!!! read more

I WOULD SUGGEST AVOIDING THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. What started out as a seemingly easy transaction has turned into an awful experience - unlike anything I have ever encountered. After purchasing a used set from this company, we quickly realized that the dryer had not been "refurbished" as advertised - the entire connection panel for the dryer was missing pieces, making it incredibly difficult to install. We finally got it up and running, only for it to die not even two loads in. It has now been two weeks and I still have no replacement dryer, which is making life incredibly challenging seeing we have a large family. The company has scheduled the replacement twice, neither of which they have followed through with - the first time they claimed to have gone to the house and nobody was home yet there was NO communication from the store or the driver. The second time they claimed they didn't have the correct parts to install the dryer, yet never stepped foot into the house in an attempt to deliver - instead they asked someone whose knowledge of appliances is limited (the homeowner) to tell them information about the dryer that was currently in place. The installers left - still no dryer. The so-called presidents line for escalations is a dead end, as they never called me back, even though I stressed the urgency of the situation after the first failed delivery. I spoke with the district manager Nick on 05/31 and he told me he would work on it and call me back - I still have yet to hear back from him. During my most recent conversations with the store, I was advised that customers who received units containing broken parts "is fairly common, and happens more often than you'd think". After three short weeks, I no longer feel comfortable doing any sort of business with this company, and they are now refusing to refund my money so that we may part ways, even though bringing the units back to them and saving them the truck roll was offered to them. I will certainly never recommend this company, and quite honestly, if I could give them 0 stars, I absolutely would. read more
