They came out the same day I sent the request through Yelp, assessed the problem with my dryer and got it fixed that night!

DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS They up-charged the parts for my refrigerator by OVER $200 and then proceeded to charge $240 dollars in "labor" for 20 minutes of work. This was a fix I had done previously on my refrigerator for about $45 by myself. The job they did for this insane fee was performed because the technician couldn't speak English so he could not explain to me what the problem was, so I went with them on a bit of faith that it was an issue I could not handle. After the job and all this crazy thievery, was when I realized it was something I could have done on my own for HUNDREDS of less dollars. I waited to write this review until the manager called me back, which he did FIVE days after I asked to speak to them and then had to ask again. GE Gas Stove Top Repair - one of the igniters wasn't working. The first tech believed he'd diagnosed the problem. He ordered the part then came back to do the repair. Unfortunately, there was more to it. A master tech then came out and got to the root cause. Again, a part was ordered. The master tech came back and completed the repair. In all, it ended up costing about double the initial estimate. Both techs were friendly and nice to work with. read more

Technician Jane was able to diagnose and repair my dishwasher in a relatively short time.

I used them since they were a "recommended" appliance repair company through Thumbtack which I had never used before. Our dishwasher had stopped working. The repairment took two hours to "diagnose" a problem that, turned out, it didn't actually have. When finally done, I asked him to be sure and run it through a cycle so we know the water is pushing through. He said he already did that and that it was working well. So, we loaded it up with all the dirty dishes, hit start, and NOTHING. He had wasted our time and money. I called the main office and the boss asked if he could send the same repairmen out again which I refused. So I asked for a refund and he agreed. I told him that instead of a refund on a check he hadn't yet received , that I would cancel the check from my end. He agreed and I figured we were good at that point. Months later I received a letter from his attorney to pay or go to collections. I sent a formal letter explaining what happened and haven't heard back. I sent a note of dissatisfaction to Thumbtack and they never responded. read more

I got reply even after 9pm! so I knew they were special. The service was just as good. Technician Serge came earlier than scheduled (he texted first). He was friendly and carefully solved my refrigerator stuck problem without hurrying. Their pricing is reasonable. We had a Samsung dryer from 2016 that started to make a terrible noise when spinning the drum, so we used Yelp to find a repair shop, we texted in the morning Wilson & Myers and they replied in less than 20 minutes. They offered a few appointment slots including for the same day, so we took the one available for the same day. They came in time and they fixed the dryer very fast, and they were very affordable as well: $49 for the service call, where compare to Samsung which was $125 only for the service call. These guys are truly one of the best companies I have ever worked with. They communicate well and show up when they say they will. My repair took multiple trips due to parts and they spent hours working on my machine. They replaced the main board wiring, all the sensors and unfortunately it did not solve the issue but boy did they try. I just think I had a very defective unit since they just don't build them the same anymore. These guys offered a full refund which most places will not do. They spent 10 hours trying to resolve it and did not charge me for any of it. This is truly a class act company and I highly recommend!! read more

I engaged their services to repair a 3 year old GE washer that was displaying multiple error codes and experiencing functional issues. I received a pricey quote of $450 for the installation of a new control board. As soon as the business saw my initial 1 star review, they contacted me with offers to assist. Firstly, they reminded me of their 100 day warranty for any service they perform, they then sent out their refrigerator specialist to assess the complaint. He explained what the issue was and made an attempt to correct the problem free of charge. His fix helped but he had advised it may not be permanent. It was better but not right so I asked for a new filter housing and requested the same technician to install it. He arrived at the time we agreed and within about 20 minutes, he was done. It's been a week and not a drop of water from the new housing. I happily update from a 1 star to a 5 star for willingness to accept responsibility and gain customer satisfaction. read more

And they also explained that it wasn't something that I could've fixed or maintenance that I could've done. They were extremely quiet and worked diligently and were very polite. I'm seriously considering giving Wilson & Myers contact information to friends as a unique gift. I chose to try them because they communicated promptly by phone and text, and had a diagnostic fee so low that I didn't feel obligated to use their service if my washer was toast. The actual repair could not be finished in one visit, but they saved me $75 by ordering the replacement part off Amazon instead of using the $150 whirlpool part, didn't charge for driving out the second time to install that part, and fixed a second problem for the price I expected for one. The main reason I'm giving them five stars, though, is that there's no option to give more. read more

I had an issue with my refrigerator, it wasn't cooling properly. We had just bought a ton of food, and it was Saturday. I thought "Oh no, this food is going to spoil and it will be a week till this thing is fixed." I fired up Yelp, sent out some random messages, and BOOM! Alex at Wilson & Myers responded within a few minutes. I was able to have him come out within an hour on a Saturday! He quickly diagnosed the issue. He came back on Monday as the part needed to be ordered, and fixed it in about 20 minutes. That's about as fast as I've ever gotten something done in my adult life. Pricing was also very reasonable, in my opinion. Also comes with a 1 year warranty in case anything goes wrong. So I will definitely use these guys again.
