Everyone at ATS WERE HARD-WORKING AND COMMITTED to doing all I wanted! They took my pencil sketch drawing and made it better than I imagined! From the dry creek bed, wide freeform pathway, to the matching flower bed under bay window !! I absolutely love it. They also transformed my backyard into a useful living space. Looks fantastic. I finally have planter boxes! Work was done in timely manner and reasonably priced! I could not be happier! Big thanks! read more

Affordable Tree Solutions - One of the stumps removed - Tree Services Near Me

Jeff, the owner, gave us a reasonable, competitive price for removing couple medium and small sized trees, for taking down & cleaning the bushes both in front & side of the house plus stump grinding. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and flexible with what we wanted, worked out with our budget and still made us very happy with the quality of their work. He is thorough, answered every question we had, honest and made sure he covered everything with no hidden fees. With the amount of job his crew did they were done in just about 3 hours!! They worked very hard, cleaned the area well, and did exactly how we wanted everything done. Great job guys!! Although there was a little miscommunication with them returning to finish the stump grinding on another day, Jeff made it right by doing substantial unexpected extras without additional cost. This company not only gives outstanding service but truly cares for the 100% satisfaction of their customers. They try their best to take care of their clients well and do the right thing. I will definitely hire them again for future projects. Absolutely recommend Affordable Tree Solutions. Thank you again!! read more

After deciding to replace our grass area in the backyard, I knew that we were going to go through the process of vetting contractors and having them come over to give us quotes and based on past experiences, it wasn't going to be pleasant. We did contact potential contractors. We had some call back, some didn't. The ones that did call back gave us quotes but never followed up after. After a few weeks of searching, we stumbled upon Affordable Tree Solutions via Yelp. Their name doesnt mention it but they also do masonry work, which is what we needed them for. We would not hesitate to reach out to them for landscaping work as well. I was very surprised when Jeff, the owner of the company, returned our call right away and was able to come out on the same day to take a look at the project and give us a quote. I appreciated this greatly as other companies told us they were going to come out but never did. I was very surprised when we received a quote via email on the same day and it was a very competitive one. After talking with Jeff more on the phone, we decided to go with Affordable Tree Solutions for our project. We received a timeline of the project, and dates that we could expect the project to progress and be completed. Now that the project has been completed I can say that I'm VERY VERY happy that we were able to find this company as they met all of the project deadlines, were very professional in all of their dealings, and more importantly, what separates them from the others is that they follow through with their promises - when they say they're gonna be here, they showed up. Pablo, the head of the crew, was very responsive in answering all of our questions and he took the time to explain the entire project. Pablo always showed up on time and made sure his crew was on point. We could not have asked for a better company to help us with our project and recommend them them with our highest compliments. We will be using them from now on as our contractor! If you have any questions about our project, please feel free to reach out. read more

So, I reached out to them a while back was quoted $1100, to remove and stump grind two trees, great deal! I decided to actually only remove one tree, Jeff came out to take a look at the tree to confirm the quote. He then quoted me $650, to remove the tree including stump grinding. Still an awesome deal, I decided to schedule a date with them to do the job Dec 4th. Jeff called me the day of the job and told me they needed to reschedule because a few of their team members contracted COVID on Monday. (Really wish he or someone would have told me sooner than the day of the job so I wouldn't have to take time out of my day for them) . In their defense, they sent a less experienced crew out to look at the job to see if they were up to the task. They decided not to risk it. We then rescheduled for today, again no one has been in contact with me and today is the day we re-scheduled to do the work. I reached out to them and left them a VM this morning. I'll update this review if they actually come out and do the job. So far, giving 1 star for poor communication and they haven't actually done the job, just wasted my time. It shouldn't be the customer's responsibility to contact you to do your job. You should be reaching out to your customers to confirm availability and update them if you need to reschedule prior to the date of the job. Honestly, I don't really care about the lack of communication and I'm sympathetic for the COVID situation and understand. Will update this review if they reach back out to me and actually do the job. TL;DR; Poor communication. Possible no show (will update) read more

I would give no stars if possible, Jeff is negligent and waisted my time . He did a no show and tried to blame his workers . Then my husband took time off work to have Jeff come do a job and decided to not follow through. He purposely ignored my husband calls and when I used my number he answered without issues . This business is incompetent and people should not do business with this company. Look else ware and learn from my bad experiences and don't let it happen to you. read more

Posted a positive review on their first visit for the current project a month ago. They still have NOT returned to finish the job. We are upset after feeling like maybe we had a great contractor for the job. But they did not finish and will not call us back... read more

Unreliable and unresponsive. Had an appointment set up with a no-show. They didn't call to reschedule. In fact, I had to call to inquire about why the appointment was missed. Even then I was not given an answer. I was told by the receptionist that she would forward my message. Nobody ever called me back. read more

I requested a quote for several lawncare services and received a fairly quick response to schedule an in-person consult for today. However, after making sure I was home in the time frame they scheduled, they never showed up and didn't contact to cancel/reschedule. I should have known than to expect different based on prior reviews with a similar experience. Husband Jeff very knowledgeable and friendly. Wife called me THREE times to schedule for the exact same date. I finally commented to her how extremely swamped they must be to call me three times for one tree trimming. I found someone else who who was even more knowledgeable and for less money. read more

This is a horrible clean up job the owner is very rude and told me he's not coming back to clean up nothing and he hung up in my face. This is terrible service and I will never use them again!!!! They were a day late and I had to call them to do the grind the stump also. read more

Affordable Tree Solutions - Grinded tree stump - Tree Services Near Me

Had three companies come out to do estimate on removal of two palm trees one large one medium size right before a storm. Affordable Tree Solutions was the best price including cutting the trees down removal and grinding stumps. They came out at 8 am during wet weather and there team cut the trees down no problem and removed. They came out the next day to finish up and grind the stumps. Would recommend them for any tree services and will use them again if needed. Thank you Jeff and the Affordable Tree Solutions team. read more

Jeff did a stellar job at a very reasonable price. He double checked all the specifics of the stumps I wanted taken down when he arrived and throughout the time he and his assistant were working. I had the utility lines marked and he was extra cautious to work around them and not dig too deep. He cleaned as he went, with a blower and a hose. Couldn't be more pleased. Will definitely be calling this team again! read more

When we began asking for bids to remove two palm trees and several shrubs, Affordable Tree Solutions was the first to respond and wound up giving us the lowest bid (only one other company was even really close to their bid). Alisia and Jeff were great to work with, and their crew did a great job taking down the two palms, grinding the stumps, and removing the shrubs, especially considering the trees were situated in a mounded area that made the job more difficult. I highly recommend Affordable Tree Solutions and would not hesitate to call on them again if the need arises. read more

They were easy to work with and the estimate was a great deal. Took them no time to get out here and they did a great job. They were all easy to talk to and very professional. I would highly recommend them if you are in need of tree trimming. read more

unreliable, doesn't communicate properly, says one thing and goes back on his word , unprofessional, and wouldn't recommend.

Updating/adding to a previous review. I have used Jeff and his crew five or six times and everything always comes out great. Jeff always communicates everything in the project and is willing to work with you when it comes to a design. Most recently they laid down concrete and sod in my front yard and it came out amazing. Will continue to use this company for other project that may come up. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Used their services two more times since my first review. They planted small trees and shrubs two weeks ago and cleared out more trees yesterday. Everything was done efficiently with no hassle. Will continue to use for tree and landscaping services. read more

First and foremost, Jeff is an incredibly professional and knowledgeable business owner. He was open and honest when I originally had him come out to quote me on my backyard. He helped explain the business and what to reasonable expect, and actually helped me find alternatives to help me meet my scope and financial goals. However, when other work came up (to remove two palm trees) he offered me an incredibly competitive rate. He and his son were extremely professional and did a very thorough job. He made sure I was happy and was easy to work with. I respect Jeff and highly encourage anyone who is looking for any landscaping work to reach out for a quote, as I am sure you will not regret it! read more

I have two tree stumps to be removed. Affordable Tree Solutions give very affordable bid price and did great jobs on removing them. They show up on time, with mask on. As they promised, they grand the whole stump deep into the tree root so that we can re-plant replacement plant in the same location. They also cleaned up the job site without living a mess. Thank you for your good jobs! I would use you again for future tree removal works. Regina read more

I contacted multiple different companies to get quotes and price out tree removal. Affordable Tree Solutions replied quickly to my request via Yelp and was able to have the job done on the next business day!! They were extremely responsive and the quote was very fair. They were extremely easy to deal with and will be my go to when/if I need tree removal in the future. read more

We have hired Jeff and his team in the past for tree pruning and clean up. Recently we hired them to do a tree removal (approximately 25 ft). Quoted me an outrageous amount just by looking at pictures not coming to the location. When I tried to negotiate a better price and advised that it was a smaller job than they anticipated they never got back to me. read more

Extremely unprofessional and lack integrity. Once the owner and his wife get your money you never hear or see them again. The worst part is they say they are going to do something or did something, but you have to bug them for weeks only to be lied to about what they supposedly are going to do or did. Then the owner and his wife become belligerent and cop an attitude if you follow up with them or call them on their obvious lies. Paid them almost $11,000 for two jobs. Would never hire them again or recommend them to our friends or family. Additional comments: Pretty sure after the owner and his wife saw this review above the wife sent another unprofessional email saying they don't need our advice and there's fault on both ends. Absolutely untrue. What company comes to a concrete job without a hose, calls me at 7:30 am when they arrive to the job site requesting I immediately bring a hose to the job site for their crew to use, ruins the hose by putting a huge hole in it making it unusable but doesn't tell me, so then I mention it to the owner and he says he'll deliver a new one that day. 3 weeks later after numerous promises to deliver a new hose he doesn't, then he later says he ordered a hose from Home Depot for delivery to me but 9 days later still no hose. Then the owner gets angry because we ask numerous times over a month's time for a corrected receipt for his company's increased $200 charge for a small concrete addition to the walkway and the owner emails and says quit asking for the receipt and now he's cancelling the Home Depot hose order (which I'm sure he never ordered) because why should he give me a new hose when I supplied an old hose to his crew. He said he'd deliver an old hose which he never delivered. Then we asked for a date for the concrete to be sealed (after 30 days from the original pour) so I can meet his crew at the job site. The owner said someone would be there the next day and to let the tenant know which we did. No one ever calls or shows up so 1-1/2 weeks later we follow up and his wife said someone showed up but the tenant didn't answer the door so they left. Never did the owner say the tenant had to be home since we had informed her and the side gate was unlocked. We asked AGAIN to contact me to schedule the sealing of the concrete, didn't receive any response for 6-7 days so AGAIIN we email and ask for a date and then the wife responds that two crew members went 5 days earlier and sealed the concrete (despite us continually asking that I meet someone there) and she claimed that one of their crew members left a note on the tenant's door. We checked with the tenants and no note was left at the door, plus there was no evidence of the concrete being sealed. The tenant says she was there all day and no one was ever there. I went and took photos and a video of the same debris under the waste cans on the concrete for the past 1-1/2 weeks which was evidence they never came since the cans were never moved. We sent them an email with this information, photos and video and no response. Then we followed up AGAIN and received a belligerent response that they won't come out because they did seal the concrete and the wind must've blown the debris under the waste cans, and they normally charge $800 for sealing the concrete. That is laughable since the owner's wife previously emailed/texted us that the sealing would only take a couple minutes to do. We're talking about approximately 80 sq feet of concrete; a short walkway and waste can pad and the owner's wife says they could've charged us $800 when the owner originally said this was part of the original job price. This is who you're dealing with when you hire this company. They are highly unprofessional and lack integrity. God forbid should you ask for an amended receipt for the actual $ amount you paid them, a hose replacement when they ruin yours (I never requested a replacement the owner offered initially), or you ask to schedule a date/time to seal the concrete as they promised. We were completely reasonable and the owner and his wife turned this into a horrible experience. If you want this type of experience hire them. read more

Affordable Tree Solutions did an impressive job. Alisia was so helpful and responsive in providing me a reasonable quote right away. They lived up to their name "Affordable." The owner Jeff is very patient and works with you. I had a problem getting a hold of my neighbor to move her car so they could start working on the tree. The owner Jeff told me they wouldn't leave me stranded and would reschedule if needed. Jeff is an awesome leader for his company. He trained his staff to provide excellent customer service. I can't say enough wonderful things about Elmer and Edward. They were prompt in getting to the job so the customer isn't waiting. Elmer even gave me a courtesy call before coming. When they arrived they followed all protocols to keep the customer safe due to COVID-19. The tree techs Elmer and Edward explained the whole process to me from beginning to end. They even put poison on the stump so the roots would stop growing for free. They also saved some of the wood for me so I could use it in this cold winter season. Both Elmer and Edward were professional, informative, patient, hard-working with a positive attitude hands down. They work as a team to get the job done fast, and at the same time doing quality work. Elmer and Edward knows what true customer service is about. They deserve a raise. The whole process was seamless from start to finish. Everyone in Affordable Tree Solutions are helpful, knowledgeable in their craft, and treat their customers with care. I highly recommend this company and will recommend AFFORDABLE TREE SOLUTIONS to all my family and friends. read more

Jeff the Owner is a total coward, going back on his word. Horrible experience right from the start. Called the guy and set a date for him to come over and give an estimate. Day came for the estimate, totally missed his arrival window. I called to see where he was at, no answer. Never showed up! Next day sends a message apologizing whatever. Ok, (me trying to be understanding) it happens. Sure, reschedule. Reschedule estimate day comes and arrives late. Got the estimate. Great! Let's get this going. Grade yard and remove stump. Cool! Let's do this. Day before the job I called to make sure we're all good. No answer. Texts back. (Strange). On my end, I just want to make sure we're good as I will be taking a day off work. Comes by with one of his workers, they talk(body language appears to be stressed). Appears as if the job was too big for him I guess. States he's going to go get tools. Never comes back. Mind you I took a day off work. Now avoiding me. No answer, no text. Nothing! What a looser this guy is!!! Do your self a favor. And take your business elsewhere. read more

We had them come out to trim a large tree out front and remove a fallen tree stump that had came down from the high winds we had.
