Same with another place I attempted to call. Yet another had on their answering machine and as I recall last year, they didn't return my call then, either. The original place I walked into had an appointment waiting time of a week. So I took a chance and decided I would go out to Walburg. I contacted Mickan thru Facebook and they got back to me right away. I went in the next morning, I got right in and right out, probably was 20 minutes. Mickan wasn't much further away than other places I was trying to get into and it took less time to get my car inspected. Plus Mickan has a cool store, they have Watkins products and Circle candles. (AFTER WAITING OVER A MONTH FOR TIRES)…read more Went in well over a month ago get new tires put on two original 1990 Montero wheels that were dropped off at the store (which you cannot get anymore). We were originally told that they would have to ship the tires to their store and that it would take 3 days. A week passes by and when we called to ask why they weren't done they said that the tires were NEVER EVEN SHIPPED to the store. So we then had to wait again for them to actually ship the tires. Every time we called to check if they weren't done yet they said they were still waiting. When we finally get the call that the tires were put on the wheels we drive to the store and try to give us the tires on random wheels that we have never seen before. After looking for only a few seconds they came back and said that the wheels were gone. They are now having to replace these wheels with ones that are somewhat close but again, the originals are rare and they cannot be exactly replaced. After all of this they made us repay the warranty for the tires because of how long it took to get them done, which was their fault. Overall, a very upsetting and disappointing experience from them!

I also took it in for an oil change and state certification. Upon picking up my vehicle, they emailed me a report, which is nice. However, they merely went through a book that said "at this amount of mileage replace this", and "this amount of mileage also replace this". And then they recommended that I replace those items. What got my attention is why it said to replace the spark plugs and I had just replaced the spark plugs about 5000 miles ago because I was going on a long trip and I wanted to make sure that everything was OK. I actually had the whole car looked over to make sure everything was OK before I went on that 3000 mile drive, So I knew that the spark plugs were only 5000 miles old. I asked the girl out front if they actually looked at the spark plugs or if they just took it off of a list because my spark plugs are only 5000 miles old. She said they just take it from the list. And then I looked closer at my email where it said that my struts needed to be replaced and under the reasoning, it said "manufacturers recommendation". There were more things that were very expensive to be replaced because it was "manufacturers recommendation" not because anyone looked at my car. If I was not aware, I would've spent a great deal of money, replacing things that were not broken. Customer beware here. Just because they say replace it, it doesn't mean it needs to be replaced. I want a real mechanic that can look at something and see a problem or not and not look at a book and say it's at 75,000 miles replace this! I could've done that by myself . I'm giving two stars because the woman sitting in front of the business was kind and patient and informative. She earned one star for lambs with her smile. I am very disappointed in this Lambs. I won't be back.
