It sat in that exact spot for over two weeks before I finally received a quote, which I felt was unreasonably high for the work. I understand that shops have minimum charges, but waiting more than two weeks for a quote on a cam bearing replacement--only to receive a price that high--was frustrating. When I picked the block up, it had developed some surface rust because it hadn't been moved the entire time it was there. That said, the staff was friendly and professional throughout the process. Because of that, I'd be willing to give them another chance if I needed different work in the future. However, my first experience ended up being a frustrating waste of time.

I was assuming that they moved it into a bay but this wasn't the case. A manager explained that they always do a "test drive" before checking the alignment. After half an hour our vehicle still had not returned from the alleged "test drive". The manager explained that their test drives take that long. When asked what the point of doing a "test drive" is before performing a laser alignment he explained that they do up to 4 "test drives", that's the way how they do it. If it pulls to the left before the "alignment" and then to the right after the "alignment", they adjust it accordingly, using the "test drive" method. After hearing this explanation I asked for my keys and went somewhere else.

I am not super confident in what these mechanics should be charging but if this one is looking at for free and giving an honest competitive fee for the work... you get it. We decided on sticking with Rustic Wrench. The price they quoted was the price we paid. The work was done to satisfaction. Here is what truly stands out for Rustic Wrench. Everyone at there front desk area is not just super polite and sociable as you would expect for someone in a "customer service" role, but they knew the work as if they did it themselves.
