Dear Jay, thank you for restoring my faith in humanity. They either don't know what they're doing or they knowingly overcharge anyone who "looks" naïve or vulnerable. Read - seniors or women unaccompanied by their husbands or fathers. Because this is 1950, eye roll.. Jay is the real deal. Yes, Apna Garage is a modest shop tucked away behind a gas station. But how many mechanics have a legit 5 star Yelp rating? I'll wait.. The reason is because no-one is as honest, humble or as kind as Jay is. You can drop off your car which is very convenient. Jay diagnosed mine and explained everything in plain English without being patronizing. He's very responsive to messages, gave an honest assessment and didn't try to overcharge or upsell me. He even rode in the car with me to make sure I was comfortable driving it and that my needs were met. In short, Jay will be my mechanic for LIFE. 100% recommend. Thanks Jay!

Several weeks ago I came in for an oil change and knew their was a problem with my exhaust system. Jay showed me the exhaust problem (corrosion and rust) and told me that he didn't do that kind of work and I needed to go to a muffler/exhaust place. Jay was thorough and efficient. I actually thought that his price was rather low and told him. I asked if I could give him a tip and he refused so I gave him a hug instead. I will gladly go back if I need a car repair

They didn't try to sell me anything extra, they did what I asked and I was able to leave. Only thing I didn't like was not knowing the price online. But they did tell me the price prior to the service and gave me the deal they had online at checkout which I didn't even look for prior to booking!

On 8/19/2026, I went to the Mavis at 2023 Mountain Industrial Blvd, Tucker, GA 30084, and I want to…read morewarn everyone about employee Danny and manager Ericka. I was given the wrong type of tire for my car, and I was charged $179.99 for a tire that is not worth that amount and is not meant for my vehicle. This is not just a pricing dispute it is a safety and policy issue. During that visit, this location did not follow Mavis policy. I showed them a competitor's tire price on my phone, and Danny told me they would price match it. When I went to pay, I was charged over $200 total, including $179.99 for the tire, even though the competitor's tire was not that high. They then claimed they helped me out by applying a cash discount, but I already had a voucher coupon and had shown it to them, so they did not help me at all. They lied about the price, ignored the price match they promised, and took advantage of me. I have visited this location multiple times about this too, trying to find a solution yet not a single time did they provide me with any help. I am not asking for another tire from this location or store credit. I just want to be refunded for this tire because it was the wrong type for my car and I was upcharged for it. I have my receipt and voucher coupon and can provide them if needed. I also want this complaint investigated, because Danny and Ericka should not be allowed to lie to customers, ignore Mavis policy, and sell the wrong tires at inflated prices. Avoid this location.

It didn't seem too bad but with the icy roads, I wanted a quick fix. I stopped by Garmon Auto Service because it was a convenient location. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes - with no appointment - and it only cost $7 to get my tire plugged. Will definitely be back for all routine car service treatments. Thanks guys!

I brought my 1999 Nissan Pathfinder (263k miles, yes I know it's an old car but prior to sending to…read morethem it drove beautiful) to Garmon twice in September for a stalling problem. First visit was $1,724.64 for a distributor replacement. It didn't fix it. Second visit was $311.35 for a crankshaft position sensor. It was a gamble on the diagnosis and it didn't help. After that one, the truck wouldn't even start. When I called to ask about a partial credit, I was told only the owner could authorize it. When I called back I got Gus again. He's a good guy, just the messenger in all this. I feel bad he works for a coward of an owner. The owner wouldn't get on the phone with me. Very rude and unprofessional in the background of the call. I heard him in the background tell Gus after asking to talk to him, "what the f**k do I need to talk to him for." He also said, "I am not putting any more f**king parts on that car." The offer was $70 back... They called it half the labor, but that's only half of the $140 sensor labor only. They left out the $70 relearn charge on the same invoice. They said they'd give me more if I brought the truck back in with the part so they could take it back. The truck doesn't run now. I understand it's an old vehicle and repairs don't always work on the first try. But I paid $2,036, the problem was seemingly misdiagnosed, never fixed, and I was treated with complete disrespect when I asked them to make it right. I won't be back and recommend you NOT bring your vehicle here.
