My car wouldn't recalibrate for my manufacturer's donut. I googled and noticed there was Tires Plus near the Stonecrest Mall area. I was able to make an appointment more quickly than expected and also be seen earlier than anticipated on the day of. I ordered a tire for $88 from Amazon and brought it to the shop because they didn't have my exact tire brand to match the 3 others. The manager was wonderful. He was transparent about the possibility that I may have to purchase 4 tires if the system rejects the $88 new tire because of the AWD. I knew there was a strong possibility he was right since I had issues with the donut. To make a long story short, I asked the manager for a quote for the new tires in the event I needed them. He found a reasonable price for a set if needed. However, I didn't need it. Thank God for honest people. They didn't scam me, and I was able to get my $88 tire mounted, and the system didn't reject it. I also upgraded to a lifetime wheel alignment. The service was under $300. After the dealership gives me a list of all of the repairs, I then take the list to Service 1st For service. Their prices are much more reasonable, and the service is always better than the dealership. I highly recommend them and have sent multiple people to them for repairs. The service advisor, Temara is very knowledgeable and patient. She gives detailed explanations of the work and the priority of the service needed. She uses Carfax for a service history and is able to give you a pricing plan so that you can prioritize your payments. Also Tamera has been extremely helpful, giving advice on used vehicles that I've purchased and it's service history. All women in particular should feel very confident with this repair shop. I go on to tell them that the last time I was here I got a new tire and my rim fixed for way cheaper.. they look at the tire and said that the tire isn't a new tire.. And that they have "like new "tires in the back.. that the owner sold to me like it was a new tire.. Which is very unprofessional on his behalf..and the same reason people hate shopping with small business.. atleast he could've given me that option if I wanted a like new tire or a real brand new tire.. very bad business.. So here I am now a few months having to buy two new tires all because of the penny pinching owner trying to make a dollar.
