Affinity has been helping me care for my pets for many years now both with weekly walks and during family vacations and I can't recommend them enough. My Emerson is a rescue and he's a very nervous dog and a flight risk - so I'm incredibly picky with who I trust him with and I trust Affinity. Ashley does an amazing job walking Tegan and Emerson regularly (and sends the cutest pictures) and for our most recent family vacation, Debbie did an amazing job taking care of my dogs and my parents dogs (4 large breed dogs) at my home while we all went on vacation for 9 days. Since my parents dogs were new to Affinity, Debbie came out twice to hang out with their dogs before we left and totally won them over. Debbie sent us updates and pictures and we felt confident that the dogs were really enjoying themselves which left us all free to enjoy ourselves too. I can't recommend Affinity enough. read more

I am VERY particular when it comes to who takes care of my pets. I asked for referrals from my community because I didn't have anyone lined up to watch my special needs dog and cat while I was away out of the country for 2 weeks and time was ticking away. Luckily, several friends who I trust recommended Charlotte and Affinity, and I am SOOO thankful they did! Charlotte and 2 other sitters met with me to go over what I would need them to do for the 2 weeks - which included diaper changes and handfeeding a partially disabled long haired German Shepherd Dog. I left them a 7 page guide on the care. yes, I'm THAT owner. But they took it all in stride and handled everything beautifully. I got pictures and checkins emailed to me every few days, and when my GSD had a bit of a health issue come up, they contacted my homeopath as directed immediately. I was SO GRATEFUL that they were there for my pets! I couldn't do much from overseas but worry, but I didn't have to as they were totally taking care of everything. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have absolutely nothing negative to say at all, and like I said, I'm very picky. I've been a pet sitter before so I am not easy to please. Hiring Affinity Pet Services to care for our cat while we were out of town gave us peace of mind and a happy cat! Our older cat has diabetes and requires twice-daily insulin shots, a daily pill, and a regular feeding schedule, so we knew we had to find a reliable, responsible pet sitter with specialized skills, not just someone who'd drop by and top up a bowl of Meow Mix. We were very impressed with the professionalism of Jennifer and Gail, who came to our house to meet us and our cat and took detailed notes on our cat's needs and routines before starting. While we were away, Gail texted pictures of our cat and gave us updates. She even got our shy cat to play with toys and be petted. Each visit includes 30 minutes or more of petting, brushing, and "play time" in addition to feeding, litter scooping, and meds. Unlike a lot of pet sitters who do this job as a casual side gig, Affinity's pet sitters are full-time professionals, so they are serious about the care of their clients' pets--very important if your pet has medical issues, like ours. Charlotte, the owner of the business, was very quick to respond via email to any inquiries/questions. We've used Affinity numerous times over the past year, when we've been out of town for longer vacations as well as for one-night trips, and Gail has been reliable, easy to work with, and has made our cat very happy every time. In the past, I've boarded my kitties when my husband and I travel, but I've never been happy because they seemed so traumatized when we picked them up. Jennifer and Amy from Affinity came by a week in advance and spent the best part of an hour getting to know the kitties and finding out about them. They asked great questions about the cats and were genuinely interested in their welfare and happiness. I will be using them again over Thanksgiving week, and I want to make sure they get the good review...UNFILTERED....they deserve What a relief to find Charlotte and her crew at Affinity! I have an older pug and a young man cat, and Charlotte came and met them, with Yuki (Charlotte chose her because Yuki also has a pug). Charlotte is friendly and professional.....a great combination. I felt at ease immediately and left my pets knowing they would be cared for comfortably in their own home. Yuki came 3 times a day to walk and feed my pug and play with my cat-boy. She texted me with pictures of them so I would know how happy they were. I don't think they missed me very much! I'll be using Affinity from now on when I have to leave my pets at home. We left our dog with Heather for the past 3 weeks while we were out of the country and for the umpteenth time. Heather knows our dog and our dog knows Heather's is her home away from home. This time our dog went through some behavioral changes and a medical problem that required Heather contacting our vet which she did immediately and kept us informed and reassured while we were away. Charlotte and her team are fantastic! I have 4 pugs and all have some type of special need which they handle without even blinking an eye. You won't go wrong if you need someone to care for your pets as if they are their own. From our very 1st home visit to find out what my needs were, I knew I had made the right decision. I have used them several times over the last year but particularly twice in the month of November; once for 8 days and again a week later for another 5 days. During this time, they willingly took on extra duties from making extra stops during realty house showing events while my house was on the market to emergency vet care when one of my pugs was having labored breathing. Due to their quick response, I am pretty sure they saved her life. I LOVE these folks and they LOVE my babies. While i am away, I get daily text with wonderful pictures letting me know how things are going and keeping me up to date on any important news. It helps me feel like I am part of their day. Having the option of having someone come to my home and stay with my 4 pugs was the answer to my prayers. My pugs get to sleep in their regular beds and have all their comforting surroundings and familiar activities. When I recently had foot surgery I knew that someone needed to take my two terrier mixes out walking so they wouldn't go stir crazy. After meeting Charlotte and Yuki, Yuki has been walking my babies for the last 3 months 3 days each week and my dogs adore her. She has taught my dogs to walk on a leash without pulling and has gotten my Max to start ignoring other dogs when he is out which had been a big problem. My two dogs have also been walking at times with a pack of 4-5 other dogs and Yuki sent me a video of it which I have showed off to my family. For any pet needs I would have in the future I would not hesitate to use Affinity pet services again. read more
