My puppy took the puppy elemtenary and jr. high class that Molly offers. The location was great! Molly is great, and I wasn't shy about asking questions outside of training. She has been around many dogs and knows what she is talking about. Molly helped us recognize things our dog was doing and helped us correct them in a positive way. The first class went over the basics and since we are first time dog owners the principles she taught were helpful to us. It wasn't just sit and stay, there is a lot of socialization of the dogs. The jr. high class seemed to repeat some things. However, it was good for us to remember the basics and helped us be consistent. Molly also has some playgroups which were fun when it was cold out. Plus, at those playgroups she is open for questions and she corrects any misbehaving dogs (ie...mine). read more

Molly is a wonderful person and trainer. You can tell she really cares about her clients and their dogs. Of course everyone needs to make money somehow but you know right off the bat that this is Molly's passion and purpose in life and she loves it. Her rates are fair and she goes above and beyond when working with you and your pup. My husband and I are really glad we found her to train our little yorkie. It's amazing what just a few sessions did for our dog and Molly uses all positive reinforcement for training. At our last session it was a great refresher to get us, as owners, feeling good about all our dog has learned already and how to continue to train her in the future. I feel so much more confident now after having Molly come into our home to help us than I did before we met her. If any questions were to come up, I know she'd help in any way and just wants the best for the dogs (and clients)! WOW! Where do I start.... I haven't owned a dog for over +25 years... it was since I was about 21 years old when I realized I had other priorities (work and a previous marriage) Now, at age 55, with a spouse and two younger children, I was out voted and told that we are getting a puppy. The spouse and kids picked the breed, color, sex, and name. I am now the person who spends most of their time with the dog... kids go to school, wife off to work, and I work from home... with the dog / puppy... How am I going to cope with this new addition??? My new dog is a labradoodle named Marlow - She is amazingly cute and I see both the poodle and Labrador breeds in her personality. Despite her being cute, she almost went back to the breeder - the razor sharp puppy teeth were tearing everything from forearms, clothing, kids toys, and furniture.... and all the other puppy behavior stuff...! Molly is such a wonderful and caring person! I have participated in her Puppy Elementary class as well as her Doggy Daycare. Molly's class style is very positive and encouraging and fun. My pup, Minka, and I always had a great time, and we both learned a lot. When the class was done, we couldn't get enough of Miss Molly, so now we go about once a week to Doggy Daycare with all three of my littles. She always has room for us. My dogs always feel welcome, and if somebody is having a rough day, she and her great staff has no problem making accommodations for them. So I feel ready to share Raegans story a bit. We rescued her from a local rescue in February. We were expecting a healthy 8 week old puppy. Instead when she was delivered we realized in a day she younger than that. We found out she was 6 weeks (too young to be away from mom). And she had Sarcoptic Mange. A highly contagious skin mite disease. The poor thing couldnt even take a step without scratching insanely. She lost her fur in multiple places, her tail losing all of it. We quickly reached out knowing we were in over our heads but already so in love. Hilary Kerr put us in touch with a trainer that would come to our house ASAP and had experience in underage and sarcoptic mange puppies. For the first week I had to hold her constantly. And thanks to my mom and hubs I was able to get some breaks. We quickly learned she was on quarantine til at least 14 weeks old. Even vet offices kept us separated from the normal office in quarantine rooms during our visits. We also learned her first vaccines had been started too early and we had to start over putting her poor body at a bit of risk of over medication. We started slowly spacing out meds. And introducing essential oils into the process. I pulled her off antibiotics when I realized they were making her sicker and quickly introduced probiotics and things to help her system calm and heal. Slowly she started healing, and her eyes opened up and she started to be more lively. However her energy was crazy being housebound and quarantined. Ms Molly from Just Paws Training showed up every week and worked with us on her diet, training, and games and puzzles to burn off that puppy energy. Tonight she's 4 1/2 months old. The hair on her tail is growing back in and we finished our last training session with Ms Molly out at Maidu Park learning new sights and sounds as she's behind on some socialization issues. She's learning not all dogs and people are scary and she's making huge strides now. We just wanted to give a big thank you to Hilary Kerr who answered my phone calls those first few week late at night or early in morning sobbing from exhaustion and frustration for this poor fur baby. We have a Springer Spaniel pup and I knew we should put him in some kind of training class. I searched and found 'Just Paws' and I am so glad I did. The price is more then fair. I can not believe how well trained our dog is after only 6 weeks! It not only trained me how to train him, but it was a great socialization class for the dogs. Just Paws Training is wonderful, professional and compassionate. Molly and her husband were very welcoming. Molly the trainer is simply amazing. She is kind and caring and very hands on. We recently adopted a lab puppy named Maggie and she is a very anxious pup. sounds, cars, other dogs and new things were very terrifying for her. It was also starting to concern me and I was scared We weren't going to be able to help Maggie conquer her fears. After Just Paws puppy 101 training Maggie has improved greatly! Let's see...not sure where to begin because there is so much wonderful to say about Molly as a human, and as a simply AMAZING trainer. I have two Wee Creatures, as I like to call them. I have never had small dogs before, and I was certain I did not want to have the stereotypical small dogs that bark and aren't taught proper manners. I enrolled Addi Ping and LuLu Kazoo in Molly's puppy elementary class shortly after I adopted them. I called to speak with her beforehand and get some preliminary information. She called me back promptly and was not shy about spending a considerable amount of time with me on the phone going over how she runs the class, and what she thought would be most beneficial for how to introduce two tiny dogs into a puppy class with other much larger puppies. Her plan worked famously, and I was soon on the road to having two wonderfully behaved puppies. We of course continued on to junior high, and we still continue with private lessons. Molly is not a clock watcher when she is working with my dogs, or anyone's dogs. She frequently goes above and beyond with her time. She makes a point to stay available by phone, text or email when issues arise. She becomes fully invested in the proper mental and emotional growth and development of the K9 and its relationship with its human. Molly is the best! I adopted a 4 month old retriever/shepard mix a few months ago, and Molly came over to work with him within the first 2 weeks.
