It really works!…read more Sherry is amazing! I was skeptic on how the training over the phone would work. Let me tell you, it really works! It is like having Sherry right there with you. Sherry gives you calm, clear, detailed, interesting, and fun instructions as you learn from her to execute the training of your dog during that scheduled appointment. I adopted a 5-month-old Terrier mix, and she would not go through the dog door-petrified of it. With Sherry's help, in a few amazing training sessions, I am excited to say, that is no longer an issue. My dog goes in/out like it is not even there. We are now working on training her to take walks and with one session we are moving in a positive direction. I can't stress enough how I look forward to our weekly 30min sessions as Sherry gives me the confidence, sureness, and enjoyment of training my dog. At RP they were allowed to be together at all times except feeding. What a difference it made !! Watching often on the Pet Cam we could see that Finn was so happy to be with his sister Sophie (the Corgi). Many thanks to Alice and the PPR crew for taking such awesome care of our Fur children. We will ALWAYS choose Paradise Pet Resort, Rohnert, when we need our babies boarded !!

It's also not easy to find programs that train German Shepherds for service and give them to civilians that need them. I have my reasons for wanting the GSD instead of a lab or golden, and it's related to disability. Then there's the ridiculous cost and waiting period for a program dog. Enter Incredible Canine with their amazing resume. Unfortunately they don't have a ton of reviews which made my decision unnerving. But after three weeks of absolute torture (and having to foster a dog to keep my stress down and mind off his absence), I got him back. Well, my dog was a shelter dog where after I paid for him one of the staff said he pulls so hard he needs a harness. True. But not after three weeks with Incredible Canine. He came out the day I got him back and as Lorna was working him, I wanted to cry - he reminded me of a show dog! For the next few months I worked with Patrick alongside my dog. I now have a dog that just completed a successful 20 minute down stay at Petsmart with another German Shepherd and other dogs and people walking around. He heeled with me and a leash loosely around my neck, rather than in my hands for a while in Petsmart without sniffing treats or getting very distracted. I'm so excited about our training and know this was well worth it. We have fundamentals down I would have never been able to get (or had the patience to get down at this point) in such a short period of time. I'm realistic and know I will need to begin training another dog in about 4 years. I hope Patric and Lorna will train another one for me!

We enrolled our pit bull puppy, Daphne, in their four-week training program when she was about four months old, along with the Grow With Me program. Like most puppies, she was extremely energetic and still working on potty training, puppy nipping, jumping, house rules, and overall manners. Daphne came home like a completely different dog--in the best way! She was calmer, more confident, better mannered, and had a much stronger understanding of what was expected of her. One thing we especially appreciated was that no electronic collar was used during this stage of her training. After having a previous experience elsewhere where we felt one was relied on too heavily, this was really important to us. We also loved that Daphne received plenty of socialization and real-world exposure. Bridget took her into different environments, and we received regular pictures and updates on her progress and the areas they were continuing to work on. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and truly feel the investment was worth it. We're already looking forward to Daphne returning around eight months old for the next phase of her Grow With Me program and eventually working toward off-leash training. We had maintained a nice foundation but felt it was appropriate based on a myriad of factors. We were placed with Emily and our experience was excellent. We knew Emily from many of our group trainings but had yet to do extensive one on one with her. Emily's approach is honest, consistent, soft (but firm) and very relatable. She was communicative in every way and made us feel safe. Given we had already done one camp we felt comfortable with the facility but each trainer brings their own nuance. Emily was clear and concise with each weekly update- she was really positive and had a ton of healthy feedback. Training is a huge investment of time and money.... Something we don't take lightly, but we have felt it was incredibly worth it both times. The continued support offered is 10/10, the communication is consistent and the general vibe is that everyone really wants to be there, including all the pups. Our dog has been home one full week, and we feel really good about the tools we've been given for continued success.
