Took my truck in to have him test drive for a transmission issue and asked to have him change all…read moretransmission fluids etc (84k miles on fluids) and I was to pick up the truck the next day. When I called to check on my truck later that day I was told "He could not replicate the issue I had noticed. That he didn't believe there was any issues." I then asked about the fluids being changed and he said " No I didn't do any fluid change but I can pull it back in shop and do it tomorrow but if there is any metal shavings then you will need a new transmission." At this point I was upset cause he did not due work requested and being told it was fine, then to state I may need a new transmission(?). Then with him wanting to take the extra day to do the work requested and to be done on the first day, knowing I needed the truck for work and needed it back asap. Not very good customer service!

I have taken my truck to this shop on three separate occasions. The first two experiences were…read moreacceptable, although the repair times were very lengthy. For my most recent visit, I scheduled an appointment but accidentally missed it after confusing the dates in my calendar. I called, apologized, and explained the mistake. Jim agreed to have me bring the truck in on August 31, 2026, which I did. The truck needed a diagnosis for a check engine light and a noise that sounded like a loose belt. I was told I would receive a call the next day, but I did not hear anything. I waited more than a week before sending a polite text message asking for an update. My message went unanswered. Over the following weeks, I sent a total of a few follow-up texts because the truck was my only means of transportation and I was spending a significant amount of money on Uber rides while waiting for information. On September 11, I was told I would receive a call on September 14, but no call came. Additional messages asking for updates were either ignored or received very brief responses. By September 25, after 26 days without a diagnosis, I reached out again because I needed information for work-related travel commitments. Instead of receiving an update on my truck, I received a phone call during which Jim became very upset about my follow-up messages and my previously missed appointment. Although I apologized again and explained that I did not realize the published business number was also his personal phone, the conversation became increasingly hostile and ended with him telling me to pick up my truck. I understand that running a busy repair shop can be stressful, but I believe customers deserve reasonable communication, especially when a vehicle has been in the shop for nearly a month. My main issue was not the repair delay itself, but the lack of communication and the way I was treated when I requested updates.

I was truly disappointed I'm this place, mostly the uncaring kids that work there. Six days after…read moremy car was towed there (including the weekend, to be fair) I stopped in to take a picture of the codes necessary for the correct part. Kraig was good to tell me them over the phone the day before, but it sounded like he said it was a PCM, when in fact, it was a BCM. Wish he would've been more clear, but not a big deal. When we were walking out there, we noticed the right rear tire was flat, even though my car was towed there & was a-ok at that point. Kraig stated it must be a slow leak; wasn't like that a couple of days ago. This was a Tuesday, yet they're closed on weekends (??). In checking out the tire, he then said it was getting low in 3 hrs. Be that as it may, When I picked up the car after it was done, immediately I saw big white scratches on my rear bumper that was not there before. Went in to inform Kraig & while we were looking at it, I then noticed a smaller mark on the front bumper, which was completely repainted just a few months beforehand & was also fine when it was towed there! He tried to downplay it & said he'd get ahold of the owner. In the meantime, I received photos from the tow truck company proving it was fine upon arrival there, yet Kraig said the owner was only willing to pay for the back bumper! Thankfully I disputed the charges with the AMEX (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), so then he caved in & paid for both bumpers. I later found out they will actually use a quad runner ATV to push in and out cars if necessary!! The tire was suspicious since it happened well into their possession, but I let it go since I wanted nothing else than to move on & put this behind us. If all this wasn't enough, they didn't even have the courtesy to use a paper floor mat, so my car was rather filthy especially on the driver side. Unless you want your car treated like this folks, there are places very close by (Ewerts Automotive, Art's automotive) that treat their customer's cars with more respect & are much more reasonable. Low integrity automotive charges approx $185/hr, which is comparable to dealers!!
