She is truly the best. I love that we started with a comprehensive "face balancing" consultation. We built a plan based on my pain points at the time and where I'd like to be and when. Helen is super careful about taking things slowly and avoiding an "overdone" look which I really appreciate!! She is methodical and precise about where to place botox/filler. The appts are not "in and out" but that's what I appreciate the most: she takes the time to make sure everything is done carefully. (And shes just a lovely human!) As a stage actor and someone who never wants to be fully frozen, Helen has perfectly walked the line between wrinkle-smoothing and maintaining facial movement for me. I've never felt more like myself with a nice little zhuzh! She's got a customer for life! Thanks, Queen!

She did such a wonderful job the first and second time around that I only trust her to do any procedure on me. My lips look absolutely amazing, natural and sensual. Dr.Rosenthal is by far the best surgeon to go to. She made my lips look natural that literally the next day (even though I was a bit swollen) I was good to be out in public without having people stare at me weird.lol. The Juvederm injections didn't hurt because I had a nerve block that numbed me (the nerve block does hurt a little tiny bit) but it was worth it. I've never really had a full upper lip but thanks to Dr.Rosenthal and Juvederm that is a flaw from the past. I will post a pic of me the next morning at 1 day post op for you to see how great my lips look!

I really like Dr. Struck. He is always very kind and does great work. Unfortunately, my low rating…read moreis because of my experience with the receptionist. I had an appointment scheduled, I called that morning to ask if it was possible to move the time up. The lady on the phone said yes and moved my appointment to 45 minutes earlier. I arrived on time, checked in, and was told to have a seat. After waiting 45 minutes, I went back to the desk to ask when I might be seen. The brunette receptionist rudely said, "It's gonna be a while." When I asked, "Longer than the 45 minutes I've already waited?" she coldly replied, "Yup." She never apologized or explained the delay, and I don't understand why they agreed to move my appointment earlier if they were already overbooked. I wasted a lot of time on a busy day. It's unfortunate because Dr. Struck is wonderful, but some of his staff made the experience very disappointing.

I chose Dr. Struck after my cousin highly recommended him and told me he was a great surgeon. As an…read moreAfrican American woman with melanin-rich skin, I made it very clear during my consultation that keloids run in my family and that I was concerned about scarring after surgery. Dr. Struck assured me that it would not be a problem and that I would heal well. Trusting his expertise, I moved forward with a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. Looking back, I feel like it was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. After surgery, I had to return to multiple office locations because stitches were left in both my breasts and my stomach for months. My surgery was in early January, and I was told the stitches would dissolve. Instead, some had to be removed, and others continued working their way out over the next 3 to 6 months. This left my incisions inflamed, irritated, and delayed my healing. I don't know whether someone in training was involved in my care, but the experience was very frustrating. I paid approximately $17,000 in cash for my procedures. Today, I have keloid scars around my nipples, across my stomach, and around my waist. I am embarrassed to wear crop tops or anything that shows my stomach because of how noticeable the scars are. I reached out to Dr. Struck several times to express how devastated I felt and how much my confidence had been affected. It often felt like my concerns were dismissed. Within the first year after surgery, one of my breast implants became hard. Initially, I was told there was nothing that could be done and that it would likely stay that way. Eventually, he did perform another surgery, and thankfully my breast is now soft again, which I truly appreciate. However, the keloid scarring remains. Because I specifically informed Dr. Struck before surgery that I was at high risk for keloids, I expected that concern to be taken seriously and factored into my treatment. I wish more precautions had been taken, or that I had been told if I was not a good candidate for the procedure. I am sharing my experience so that others--especially patients with melanin-rich skin who are prone to keloid scarring--will ask detailed questions and fully understand the risks before moving forward. My hope is that future patients who express these concerns receive the time, attention, and care they deserve.

This review is long overdue! First, I have to express my gratitude & respect for Dr. Lisa Hwang…read morefor her expertise, gentle care throughout the process, eye for details and is no doubt the whole package. I have been interested in a breast augmentation along with other breast changes for years as no matter what I did with my yo-yo weight loss journey my breasts remained to be a big concern. Last year, I was at a point of frustration with my breasts and pulled info for 2 surgeons. Two appointments were made with both surgeons and fortunately, the first appointment was scheduled with Dr. Lisa Hwang. I was nervous and anxious but I was ready for a change. After my initial consultation, Dr. Lisa Hwang who listened to my concerns/ wishes and answered all my many questions. She also presented all my options, reviewed the whole process step by step to post surgery recovery schedule and after conversing through it all, I felt confident I found my surgeon to do my boob job and scheduled surgery date a couple of weeks later. Surgery Day - I was ready! I was excited and had anxiety, too. Once Dr. Hwang walked into the room, I became calm and relieved where she started to outline my breasts for surgical prep. I had confidence in Dr Hwang's attention to detail and she truly understood what I wanted in the final results and executed it on point. Post Surgery - I will not lie that I was in discomfort, cried, struggled and hated most my restricted sleep position as part of the healing process but had to follow through on doctors instructions. Dr. Hwang was amazing. We were communicating daily via text and via the secure web platform where I uploaded breast pics, too. I felt I was in genuine care with Dr. Hwang and her responses were exactly what I needed - prompt, thoughtful, thorough and clear. I did experience a hiccup in the healing process for a breast a few weeks post surgery which is not uncommon and had to undergo a mini surgery to remedy the issue which was completed in her office. After this procedure, the healing went much more smoothly and without altering the breast aesthetic too much for it to be noticeable. It's 7 months post surgery and I'm so pleased with the final results and so is my longtime boyfriend, too! I'm so happy and in I love that my breasts have enhanced my body silhouette. I can see my waistline! If anyone is looking for a female surgeon with integrity, trustworthy, an expert and knowledgeable in her field and genuinely cares for her patience, Dr. Lisa Hwang is the doctor of choice. He genuinely cares about his patients and with that, gave me the upmost confidence in him being my surgeon. At my consultation, I expressed to Dr. Bates the concerns I had regarding my nose: hump, frontal drooping of my nose, etc. He also noted changes that would compliment those adjustments, creating a symmetrical and natural canvas. What I respect the most is while he strives to achieve the patient's goal, he's realistic - he provides his professional opinion and feedback based on what suits your facial structure. It's a personalized experience and the morphs he created were spot on. At my pre-op appointment, he thoroughly went through what to expect on surgery day and recovery. He was clear, answered all my questions, and I never felt rushed. On the day of surgery, Dr. Bates made his presence known, making me feel at ease and reassuring me that everything will go well. Recovery was another defining experience as to why I knew Dr. Bates was the right choice. My swelling and bruising was minimal and manageable, which tells me he has a light and careful hand in surgery. What's even more surprising is that at my splint removal appointment today, I look identical to my morphs, which was refreshing considering many people have told me that they didn't with their surgeons. All in all, I can't recommend Dr. Bates enough.
