I saw Dr Hoffman as a referral for cardiac arrhythmia from my cardiologist. I was excited to go because I have trouble sleeping and wake too early, unless I read for 1 hour I cant get back to sleep but then it is time for work. I arrived and the whole meeting was strange. Maybe it was me but I felt like I was being talked down to. The PA was talking like "Oh we are so glad you came to us" , "We are going to help you so much". Honestly I was being talked to like a child with all the grandiose communication from the PA. I am 62 but I don't think I have communication issues or the ability to understand abstract concepts. I tried to ask some questions but they were met with simple answers that really did not answer the question. Unfortunately it set the tone for future interaction with the center. The next day I read through the after visit summery. I think some of the record was for another client. The prescribing Dr was listed as my PCP not my Cardiologist. It said I was falling asleep during the day. Said my wife indicated I snored, none of which is correct and not noted in the pre-visit questionnaire. I did the sleep home study and it came back with a mild sleep apnea but nothing about getting 5-6 hours a sleep a night. I had hoped it would show up on the study but it did not. I had decided to do the home study because I really did not want to visit the center again after my first interaction. I decided to use a sleep apnea machine. The next morning I woke at 3am and emailed the second PA that I need to go to another sleep specialist so I can deal with my sleep issues. read more

The first impression is essential. The front desk staff and the Aesthetician were professional and hospitable over the phone, online, and in person. I cannot say the same for Dr. Hoffman, as unless you are a candidate for his procedures, he gives you very little time or the courtesy of a consult even though your consultation was set with him. While there are many surgeons, a client who carves out time and comes to his office deserves equal attention. He must know that first impression is essential, and even if a client is not a candidate for one procedure in his office does not mean they can still be a potential client for other procedures in his office. A client like myself could potentially refer my clients to his office even if I'm not a candidate. In the end, it is his pocket that attained most of the practice income. Love the staff and even the Doctor. He did my breasts 19 years ago and they still look good. I was really disappointed with the surgery on my face. 7 mos later I still had a visible line on my cheek, possibly a muscle, and still had my marionette lines around my mouth. I then went back and paid another few thousand dollars for fat injected hoping to avoid not needing fillers. It really made no difference. Since I took out a loan, I am paying $400 a month for a couple years and also still needing to pay for fillers. Biggest waste of money. I believe the Doctor is better on breast's where most of his experience is and not on facial surgery. I had one session of IPL here to remove sun spots. After paying $400, only 2 sun spots were gone. During the procedure, I was told that for many people it takes more than 1 session to get the results you want, but I feel misled about the results I expected to get from the one session. Especially because the RN who performed the treatment told me it was on a higher setting than usual for me. I gave 2 stars because she was nice. They should have recommended a more powerful type of laser during the phone consultation because IPL does nothing for freckles and sun spots. It's a waste of money. read more

I would like to give Dr. Hoffman's practice a 5 Star review without hesitation. I love his office staff, his personality -- he is very personable and kind. He is clear and well spoken, I easily understood everything he described to me. He IS NOT the type of doctor that is out of touch and difficult to have a relationship with! After my consultation with him, I knew what I was getting into. His confidence in the success of the procedures I wanted really rubbed off on me and I decided to pursue my dream of having chin liposuction and upper arm liposuction. Unfortunately, I inherited these traits from my mothers side and have been wanted these procedures done since a teenager! After the consultation, I booked a date with his lovely office staff, I believe her name was Tracy, who was so kind and helpful (Carecredit accepted here) and the countdown for surgery day began! Loved everything about my surgery. The room was nice and cool (ideal conditions to avoid bacterial growth I think), but I was in a warm blanket with a heater going. The music in the room was pleasant. The cuffs on my legs to aid in blood flow was like a massage, and it almost felt like I was at a spa! I am literally not kidding. Once you see all the hard work the nurses do to keep everything sterile and set up perfectly, the pricing of the procedures make total sense and are so reasonable. Surgical procedures are not something you want to penny pinch about. My nurses were wonderfully pleasant. One nurse in particular was extra motherly and treated me so well, the pats on the shoulder and face were so comforting. She took the best care of me, and soothed the anxiety I had. I absolutely loved her and she and the other nurses were absolute gems and true assets to the business. After surgery, I was able to reach Dr. Hoffman with ease through the answering service with some questions. I will update my review with results, however I can't imagine anything less that 5 stars! I went to Dr. Hoffman for breast augmentation and let me just say...he is AMAZING! I was referred to him a few years back by a friend and did a consultation. I wasn't ready at the time but decided to meet with him this year since I was finally committed to finding a doctor. I wanted to do the silicone gel but had a slight issue since they are pre-filled and had a small areola so I had very few options for insertion. At first he felt that the best way to do it would be to go through the inframammary crease since I was doing a very large implant. I am about 5'8" with an hourglass shape so I wanted something that would be fitting to my figure. I explained to him that I really did not want my incision to be this way and preferred to go through my underam. Well, Dr. Hoffman ordered a special device called the "Keller Funnel" to do the incision where I wanted it. Let me tell you that this man is a genius! I could not be happier! My breasts are even, proportioned and absolutely beautiful! I would trust Dr. Hoffman with any surgey that I do.
