She is truly the best. I love that we started with a comprehensive "face balancing" consultation. We built a plan based on my pain points at the time and where I'd like to be and when. Helen is super careful about taking things slowly and avoiding an "overdone" look which I really appreciate!! She is methodical and precise about where to place botox/filler. The appts are not "in and out" but that's what I appreciate the most: she takes the time to make sure everything is done carefully. (And shes just a lovely human!) As a stage actor and someone who never wants to be fully frozen, Helen has perfectly walked the line between wrinkle-smoothing and maintaining facial movement for me. Nearly three years ago, I had a mommy makeover (tummy tuck and breast lift with implant…read morereplacement), and choosing Dr. Maser at Reveal Plastic Surgery was one of the best decisions I've made. Before moving forward, I consulted with about half a dozen plastic surgeons across the Bay Area. Dr. Maser stood out immediately as the most knowledgeable, thoughtful, and honest. He wasn't trying to "sell" me anything. No add-ons, no unnecessary procedures--just a clear, thoughtful approach focused on what would actually deliver the best outcome for me. That alone was refreshing. From start to finish, the level of care from Dr. Maser, his nurse, and the entire office was exceptional. Every detail was handled, every question answered, and the follow-up was just as strong as the prep. The whole experience felt seamless and incredibly well run. And the results? Truly incredible. The kind where you quietly think, why didn't I do this sooner? I also want to call out the transparency and integrity of the practice. Other offices quoted extremely high prices and then followed up with repeated calls offering slight discounts to try to win my business. Reveal was the complete opposite--one fair, straightforward price from the start. No games, no gimmicks. I've continued to go back to Reveal for Botox and facial laser treatments with Hollie, and the experience has been consistently excellent. They never push treatments or try to oversell--everything is thoughtful, appropriate, and tailored. It's honestly refreshing. After my last treatment (just last Friday), they sent me home with a cooling face mask, a handheld fan and a cute hat--which honestly felt like the spa version of a mic drop. Such a fun, thoughtful touch. You leave every visit feeling confident, cared for, and like your best self, and I genuinely look forward to going back.

I had an appointment scheduled, I called that morning to ask if it was possible to move the time up. The lady on the phone said yes and moved my appointment to 45 minutes earlier. I arrived on time, checked in, and was told to have a seat. After waiting 45 minutes, I went back to the desk to ask when I might be seen. The brunette receptionist rudely said, "It's gonna be a while." When I asked, "Longer than the 45 minutes I've already waited?" she coldly replied, "Yup." She never apologized or explained the delay, and I don't understand why they agreed to move my appointment earlier if they were already overbooked. I wasted a lot of time on a busy day. It's unfortunate because Dr. Struck is wonderful, but some of his staff made the experience very disappointing.

As an…read moreAfrican American woman with melanin-rich skin, I made it very clear during my consultation that keloids run in my family and that I was concerned about scarring after surgery. Dr. Struck assured me that it would not be a problem and that I would heal well. Trusting his expertise, I moved forward with a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. Looking back, I feel like it was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. After surgery, I had to return to multiple office locations because stitches were left in both my breasts and my stomach for months. My surgery was in early January, and I was told the stitches would dissolve. Instead, some had to be removed, and others continued working their way out over the next 3 to 6 months. This left my incisions inflamed, irritated, and delayed my healing. I don't know whether someone in training was involved in my care, but the experience was very frustrating. I paid approximately $17,000 in cash for my procedures. Today, I have keloid scars around my nipples, across my stomach, and around my waist. I am embarrassed to wear crop tops or anything that shows my stomach because of how noticeable the scars are. I reached out to Dr. Struck several times to express how devastated I felt and how much my confidence had been affected. It often felt like my concerns were dismissed. Within the first year after surgery, one of my breast implants became hard. Initially, I was told there was nothing that could be done and that it would likely stay that way. Eventually, he did perform another surgery, and thankfully my breast is now soft again, which I truly appreciate. However, the keloid scarring remains. Because I specifically informed Dr. Struck before surgery that I was at high risk for keloids, I expected that concern to be taken seriously and factored into my treatment. I wish more precautions had been taken, or that I had been told if I was not a good candidate for the procedure. I am sharing my experience so that others--especially patients with melanin-rich skin who are prone to keloid scarring--will ask detailed questions and fully understand the risks before moving forward. My hope is that future patients who express these concerns receive the time, attention, and care they deserve.

I have been interested in a breast augmentation along with other breast changes for years as no matter what I did with my yo-yo weight loss journey my breasts remained to be a big concern. Last year, I was at a point of frustration with my breasts and pulled info for 2 surgeons. Two appointments were made with both surgeons and fortunately, the first appointment was scheduled with Dr. Lisa Hwang. I was nervous and anxious but I was ready for a change. After my initial consultation, Dr. Lisa Hwang who listened to my concerns/ wishes and answered all my many questions. She also presented all my options, reviewed the whole process step by step to post surgery recovery schedule and after conversing through it all, I felt confident I found my surgeon to do my boob job and scheduled surgery date a couple of weeks later. Surgery Day - I was ready! I was excited and had anxiety, too. Once Dr. Hwang walked into the room, I became calm and relieved where she started to outline my breasts for surgical prep. I had confidence in Dr Hwang's attention to detail and she truly understood what I wanted in the final results and executed it on point. Post Surgery - I will not lie that I was in discomfort, cried, struggled and hated most my restricted sleep position as part of the healing process but had to follow through on doctors instructions. Dr. Hwang was amazing. We were communicating daily via text and via the secure web platform where I uploaded breast pics, too. I felt I was in genuine care with Dr. Hwang and her responses were exactly what I needed - prompt, thoughtful, thorough and clear. I did experience a hiccup in the healing process for a breast a few weeks post surgery which is not uncommon and had to undergo a mini surgery to remedy the issue which was completed in her office. After this procedure, the healing went much more smoothly and without altering the breast aesthetic too much for it to be noticeable. It's 7 months post surgery and I'm so pleased with the final results and so is my longtime boyfriend, too! I'm so happy and in I love that my breasts have enhanced my body silhouette.
