Unfortunately hours from Washington to Oregon don't completely have reciprocity between the two, which means I needed to work with a school to make up hours (a CAE license is 500 hours of schooling meaning I had to make up 50 hours). When I tell you I reached out to MULTIPLE schools in Oregon to try and find even a little help to point me in the right direction, Michele at the Advanced Esthetics Institute not only responded to me very quickly EAGER to help me, she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that she could help me get my CAE license without any hesitation, and made me feel so comfortable coming to her with any questions regarding this situation. She truly was the only school/person that even seemed to want to help me so I am so so thankful for that - even though I live 2+ hours away from this school, I knew it would be worth every penny and mile to make up time to get my license. However, I gave him six weeks notice that I'd changed my mind -- a friend convinced me that general anesthesia is dangerous, so don't do it unless medically needed -- but Dr. M wouldn't refund my down payment. I wasn't too surprised, since I'd signed that disclaimer and I understand needing time to book other clients in that time, but with THAT much notice I knew he could've book another client where I'd canceled. I later checked to see if the day and time my procedure had been canceled had been re-booked by someone else, and it had. So ... he's just greedy. If he cared about repeat customers and quality customer service, he would've refund my down payment. Because of this I'll go elsewhere for future laser and ANY other cosmetic surgery needs. He's quite arrogant (as other reviewers note) AND greedy -- a real deal killer.

I just am very disappointed because I was expecting more of a positive outcome from the doctor since I was coming in to see him and considering to pay a lot for surgery. After seeing him I was quoted double what they said before the consultation even though I had explained that I needed a lift. Since then I went to other consultations that were free with other doctors and they never made me feel bad about myself. Coming to get surgery should be a positive experience and this place wasnt:(
