Aesthetic Elements Construction did a complete remodel of my old out dated bathroom. Alejandra and her wonderful crew did an amazing job. Transformation was amazing highly recommended by me. Her crew is highly experienced and dedicated to doing the best. Alejandra was amazing and guided me to the best options, and recommended me where to go for the tile, bathroom cabinets, vanity, and smart toilet, fixtures, and handicap rails, and sliding glass doors of my choice and liking. Her crew is very respectful, hard working. Alejandra is constantly checking what is being done throughout the process. Always making sure I approved the work. Their work is precise and affordable for me being on a budget. They converted my bathroom from a bath tub shower to a walk in shower with seating area made it ADA accessible for my needs. Alejandra will walk you through the whole process. Her crew does it all, from demolition, tile walls and floors to plumbing, and electrical replacement and upgrades, they also did the wall paint. Aesthetic Elements built my garage. There were some complicated (to me) parts to this constructions such as underpinning my neighbor's garage with concrete piers, building high retaining walls, drainage, etc. They also did a great job with the framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, etc. Alejandra has a great team of subcontractors who know what they are doing. They were professional and did an excellent job. Alejandra has good communication and was always there to answer my many questions. I highly recommend Aesthetic Elements Construction. read more

Overall, we had a fantastic experience with Aesthetic Elements. They truly exceeded our expectations. After collecting several quotes for a bathroom remodel, this company provided the most reasonably priced and thorough quote. After completing the project, we realized we received a real bargain as the company was reliable, did quality work, and communicated with us throughout the project. The bathroom remodel was for my elderly father, who recently became wheelchair-bound. It had been almost 40 years since the last remodel. Multiple leaks from the shower walls and toilet required replacing the subfloor along with adding a curbless shower. The project manager, Alejandra, kept me informed throughout. Rosalio, the company's contractor, was reliable. He showed up every day on time and followed my detailed layout design to the letter. His attention to detail was greatly appreciated. read more

I highly recommend AE Construction. Their proposal was competitive, and I liked that they were local and responsive to my requests. I want to add that I really appreciated when they first came over to discuss the project, it was one of Alejandra's guys that suggested a change that made a huge difference because they spent the time to understand what I was trying to do and asked a lot of questions. From start to completion, the employees/subcontractors they used were all professional, and on the rare occasion I had a change or improvement suggestion, they did it without complaining or arguing with me or talking down to me. I mention this because I have hired other people for simple jobs, and I did not like when they talked down to me for asking a basic question. The point person in charge, Alejandra, always answered my text messages quickly and provided suggestions and answers to my questions. She also kept me informed of the schedule as it changed to accommodate the rainy season. This was a huge plus for me because this was my first large project, and it took place at my primary residence. The work turned out beautiful and it was a pleasure working with her team. Additional info for those planning a construction project I wish that the engineering/architect/design firm I hired, who I do not recommend, would have made the effort to ask more questions about my project. If they were more vested in participating in what I needed, I could have made additional changes that would have made the ADU so much better. Unfortunately, once the permits and construction started, it would have cost too much to start over. When hiring a design firm, make sure they have done ADUs because it is a small project in comparison to building a huge house, and my assumption is that they either didn't care because it was small, or they really did not have experience in drawing ADUs. Especially if this is your first construction project, there are so many things one may not even know about, so it is important to find someone who takes interest in what you want to accomplish. AE Construction also helped in communicating back to the design company when we needed changes requested by the city. read more

Aesthetic Elements did a 5-star job of restoring our home after extensive water damage from a water leak. The scope of work included rebuilding two bathrooms, about 900 sq ft flooring, 2000 + sq ft drywall restoration, painting 4 bathrooms, getting permits approved and passing city inspections. They provided a detailed work estimate and once the contract was signed worked diligently, including many weekends to finish the work on schedule and on budget. I am extremely grateful for the speed, quality and thoroughness of their work. read more

I'm a local designer and I was desperately looking for a crew to hire during COVID for a couple of projects I had. Usually, I only go with professional recommendations but I wanted to branch out and find a woman-owned company and someone with a decent lead time and I stumbled across AE. After seeing all their positive reviews I felt comfortable to reach out and I have to say I completely agree with past reviews. Alejandra was great to work with, it really felt like a team collaboration with the client's happiness being the end goal for both of us. Their construction work was done efficiently and beautifully. While some hiccups happened, which is bound to happen with any crew, Alejandra was there every step to make it right. I'm so happy with the work AE did and how they handled each project I really can't recommend them enough. read more

If I could give them 10 stars I would. It's very difficult to find a contractor that shows up on time and delivers what they promise. These guys do all of that plus they do great work. I hired Alejandra to help finish a paver job that another contractor abandoned. She had it finished in one day! Then she gave me estimates for 4 different jobs within a few days, scheduled and completed a concrete pour for me and had the paver guys come back out to add more pavers. I suspect Alejandra is the one keeping the boat afloat. She managed all of my jobs and kept me in the loop the whole time. I definitely recommend them! Extra plus, her team shows up early (like 8am and works all day until the job is done.) They are awesome and have a fantastic work ethic. read more

Aesthetic Elements Construction - a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and bathtub - General Contractors Near Me - San Leandro, California

My husband and I bought our first house in March and it was clear that the previous owner did a lot of DIY work -- it was horrible. The kitchen was the first thing we knew we needed to tackle. After interviewing a few contractors, we are so glad we hired Aesthetic Elements. You hear horror stories about shady contractors, but Alejandra and her team were great to work with! The quality of work and communication throughout the entire process was impressive. Even when we hit a bump during construction, Alejandra handled it immediately and kept us on track to finish the project on time. I can't thank Alejandra and her team enough for making our first construction experience so easy. They have definitely set the bar high for any other contractors we may need. In fact, they may be the only contractor I'll trust to handle a large project in my home. read more

We enjoyed our experience with Aesthetic Elements Construction (AE) very much. We performed a small to medium-sized remodel of our kitchen and some other areas where new walls were built, walls were removed, countertops installed, and other small items. We are very happy with how the work turned out and it was a breeze working with AE. We would definitely recommend using them and plan to use them for future projects. Pricing: We interviewed 5 contractors for our project and they were in the middle of the pack as it goes in terms of pricing. We were more than OK to pay the additional cost from the low bid because they were incredibly professional, provided the most detailed and accurate proposal out of ALL of the companies we interviewed and we liked their portfolio the best. Responsiveness: You always hear of horror stories with contractors being difficult to schedule, pushing start dates, not showing up for work or disappearing as the project ends, we had none of these issues with AE. They were able to start our project early, showed up every single day until the project was complete, finished the project 2 days earlier than projected (would have been 5 days if the Oakland inspectors made it out faster) and communicated if they were going to be late (which only occurred once due to an employees family emergency). Work Quality: We enjoyed their work quality and are very happy with the results. They kept a super clean work site and worked with us on small changes we wanted, adding scope of work due to City of Oakland inspection requirements and worked diligently to make sure we were happy with the end product by going above and beyond on our end of project punch list. read more

AE Construction completed a demo and repair of multiple walls (from water damage) in our home. We would hire them again if any future work needs to be done. Communication was outstanding - Alejandra was very professional and friendly - putting our mind at ease with the stress of losing use of 3 rooms in our house. She checked in each day her team was on site. The team, led by Andres was outstanding! Arrived on time each day, worked efficiently and completed the job in less time expected. Work area was kept organized and clean-up done daily. Friendly and welcoming of our 2 dogs. Thank you so much! You all are aces! read more

We recently had Aesthetic elements do some work on our house and were very happy with the work. The quote was reasonable and came quickly. They replaced all of our doors and framed out several new ones, filled in some pass throughs, finished our kitchen cabinets, and tiled and installed a mantel on our fireplace. They also corrected some of the errors my last contractor made. I'm a perfectionist and and an outspoken one at that! They accommodated all my requests, big or small, quickly fixed anything I wasn't perfectly happy with, and were able to meet my high standards. They did a beautiful job spraying our doors-- not a single weird speck or drip on them. Alejandra is their office manager and was extremely responsive and organized. We also thought that Jose (foreman?) was very helpful and knowledgeable. We are planning several more projects and will definitely go with them again in the future. Highly recommend! read more

After many calls and outreach attempts to numerous remodeling companies for estimates on a bathroom addition we finally found Aesthetic Elements Construction. From the initial contact Mary to the very last interaction with Alejandra and Omar I was very impressed! Mary was the only one that provided a cost-effective estimate and she was quick to send it over. Their construction team was efficient and friendly. Alejandra their project manager was very professional, prompt, and communicative throughout the entire project. Lastly Omar had exceptional customer service and attention to detail. Thank you Aesthetic for converting our our small space to a lovely guest bathroom. We get so many compliments from family and friends. We are excited to work with you for our future house projects! read more

We worked with Alejandra and team to update the kitchen and two bathrooms in a recently purchased townhouse. Alejandra was great to work with. She was responsive to our questions and concerns and worked with the business that supplied the materials to make things right when the details went wrong. It was a medium size job (kitchen cabinets, countertops, backsplash, bath vanities, painting, flooring) all done by her hard-working crew in 3 weeks. If you need a general contractor, we recommend talking to Aesthetic Elements. read more

This company deserves a diamond certification. We were serendipitous in finding Aesthetic Elements Construction after another contractor we hired unfortunately had to back out of our two room, one bathroom addition construction project. AEC didn't simply start complete the project, they rapidly transformed our house into a residence worthy of being featured within the pages of an magazine. The crew (they became more akin to friends after the project was completed) was timely, punctual, and attentive to details that could have been easily missed, and even provided recommendations when we looked blankly at certain areas of the project and said "ohmygodwhatdowedo." The project manager, Alejandra, was readily responsive at every minutae of a request we asked her. She visited the site regularly and oversaw the project with unparalleled professionalism and finesse. The project was finished with amazing alacrity. The occasionaly unforseen circumstances were handled creatively, and at minimal cost. They are flexible in working with your budget as well. I cannot recommend this company more. We intend to use AEC for future projects. read more

I worked with Aesthetic Elements to correct some urgent safety issues in a home I had just purchased. They were professional, clear, communicative, and efficient throughout - a real pleasure to work with, after having dealt with some terribly unprofessional contractors in the past. They even finished a few days before schedule, and took the time to sweep and mop out my home to ensure everything was clean and tidy. You can't go wrong with these folks! read more

I needed some repairs on my home due to the seller of the house doing half assed jobs and cutting corners. I reached out and Alejandra responded quickly and came out to look and give an estimate. Then they came and worked on the house. There was a couple of mishaps but Alejandra was on it and got everything fixed and taken care of at everyone's earliest convenience. This is honestly the most professional company I've ever worked with this far and I would recommend them to anyone I know. This type of business is hard to come by these days! Their work is good and I haven't had any issues with their repairs. Where others said they could not do something, this team could and did it with ease. I will be hiring them for all of my future projects and repairs. Thank you for making my home functional and thank you for the amazing communication! read more

We used Aesthetic Elements Construction for a full home renovation this Summer. The workers showed up on a time and the project manager was lovely. I had a lot of questions along the way and they were always available to answer them and I never felt ignored. The were a few change orders due to stuff they found after demolition but the pricing remained reasonable. I am in love with the work and I have recommended them to a few friends and decided to write them a well deserved review. read more

Do you have urgent or non urgent home repairs or want to make some home improvements? Do you dread finding someone to do the work because you struggle finding a competent technician who is fully knowledgeable, who does the work right, who gives you options for repair, who is honest, affordable, available, kind, friendly or respectful of your family (especially during these sensitive times?) Do you watch Home Improvement TV Shows to get ideas but you're not a do-it-yourselfer? I used to agonize and stress about all of the above and always felt at the mercy of repair techs as I was never given options; they fixed things and I was given an invoice. If I wanted to do home improvement, I had to choose between anyone who replied to the work request i posted on Home Advisor. Not the best system. THEN I got blessed by the Construction Gods: Imagine a magical person you could consult with regarding whatever work or repairs you wanted done, (no matter what it is; (electrical, plumbing, concrete, dry wall, construction, paint, inside, outside, etc.) and his person will help you with all of it. Mind blowing, right?! Also, this one person would be honest, and hire skilled craftsman who were reasonably priced and this person would manage any/all jobs for you alone. This person would also be the only person that you communicate with daily for everything; and this communication is clear and concise where nothing is done without your consent or price agreement from beginning to end! Just imagine how dreamy that would be right? I am testimony to confirm that what I just described is NOT A DREAM. That depiction exists and WAS A REALITY for me and my family just a few weeks ago when I hired AESTHETIC ELEMENTS CONSTRUCTION to do multiple home improvement projects at my home. It was the most refreshingly pleasant and professional experience I've had working with contractors. I was communicated to daily by the PM; everyone who stepped foot on my property was personally introduced to me ahead of time; I was provided with complete transparency throughout each project; things were completed on time; contractors were kind, courteous, and flexible with my needs and each job was done flawlessly and affordably. Our home is the nicest on the block and we get compliments daily. They helped us turn the interior and exterior facade of our home from ordinary to extraordinary. They should change their name to AESTHETIC 'ALCHEMY' (Meaning taking something ordinary and turning it into something extraordinary.) CONSTRUCTION. Don't think about it; just hire these guys you will NOT be disappointed. read more
