Last year, the van that we were using to transport our daughter started to have several mechanical problems and so it was time to get a new one. We visited several places that specialize in wheelchair accessible van modifications. One of the places we visited was AeroMobility in Yorba Linda. Even though it was the furthest from our home, we were totally impressed with their showroom, repair garage, knowledge and willingness to help. We dealt with both Dale and David and after purchasing our own Toyota van, we turned it over to AeroMobility. A few weeks later, the van was returned from VMI and we went to pick it up just before Christmas. Dave showed us every feature in great detail. A couple of weeks later, we opted to install a docking station for our daughter's wheelchair and Dave and his brother came to our house in Culver City late one night to pick it up and then similarly delivered the van with the docking station the next night. This place is truly amazing!!! We highly recommend it to anyone with special needs that's looking for an honest and reliable dealership they can count on. My fiance, Jaime, has been in a wheelchair for over 29 years and for the past 5 years we've been saving to purchase a van that has wheelchair access. After visiting a dealer near our home we left there feeling like the van was out of our reach. We were treated like what we were looking for was nearly impossible to find. We decided to visit Aero Mobility and from the moment we walked in we were treated with the best service ever and everyone was passionate about what they do!!! Craig showed us several options in the make and model we were looking for. We were able to pick one out on our very first visit there. After we were approved for financing Aero went ahead and performed all modifications needed including adding hand controls and a transfer seat without providing a deposit since we lived so far away. When I needed a disability vehicle, my height presented access clearance issues. No other vendor could find one for me that wasn't a heavy truck, but Aero Mobility did. I'm grateful for their acumen and persistence. I live 45 miles from Aero Mobility, but that distance has been meaningless. When my VMI conversion needs service, they pick the van up one evening and return it the next. They are very fine people, and their service is just the tops. Thank you David. You are truly the best and Aero Mobility is the most supportive company I have ever dealt with, especially for a car company! I bought my adapted Scion from them 10 years ago and they have maintained it and kept it working perfectly for the least amount possible. I am in and out of my car a great deal so the hydraulics, hinges and after-market adaptations take a beating. I have had to take the car in for a service 3 or 4 times and every time, the system comes out like new. It can take time if they need parts but I am always updated on the process. I would never do business with any other adaptive car company. I live 80 miles away from Aero and there are other companies close but no one compares to Aero's quality service and care. read more

On a family vacation and high centered our Toyota Braunability van on a curb. Of course it damaged the door with my son's wheelchair ramp. Door would barely close and would no longer lock. Found this place online and called the next day. They were able to get me in that afternoon to look at it. I expected to have to leave the van for a couple of days at least. I just wanted to get the door fixed enough to make the 3 day drive home. Instead David, the president, took care of me personally. He had his guy in the shop working on it within 20 minutes. He brought me the bottom door bracket and it was in terrible shape. It took about 90 minutes total but he brought the van back around front and the door actually worked like normal. It will be back in the shop when we get home, but he allowed me to only miss a couple hours of family time at Disney. I expected a nice bill given the emergency nature of repairs, but David said "no charge". I was floored! He just wanted us to enjoy our vacation. What a great guy! My vans ramp stopped working and I was worried about the length of time it would take to get fix and the price. They were prompt about getting the ramp fixed, they made sure it was under warranty and they also went over some steps to make sure I keep the ramp working properly. Since I did not have an accessible vehicle to take me back home and back to the Aero they had Steve pick us up, he was very nice and lively to talk to. read more

This place is not helpful when it comes to insurance claims. Two weeks ago my mother was hit by a guy when she was on her power chair and we kept getting the back and forth treatment from this place, they say that they cant fax paperwork to the insurance company of the guy that hit her, but shortly after they told us that they couldn't do what the insurance was asking we found a company that would work with us and finally are getting somewhere. They did not want to work with us and when we tried to explain the situation we were treated like we didnt have a brain or know what we were talking about. My family nor i will be using this company in the future. read more

Aero Mobility is the best place to visit before buying an adapted vehicle, or getting one serviced. They have a huge selection of new and used adapted vehicles. I purchased my Honda Odyssey van in October of 2016. I should have posted a review immediately but it was a very trying time following my husband's accident. Craig handled my purchase and he and the other employees (front office staff, finance people, etc) were very professional and sensitive to our situation. I found Aero Mobility online. I was searching for a special type of vehicle conversion for a wheelchair. Aero Mobility is the West Coast dealer for X-WAV wheelchair conversion of the Honda Element. I dealt with salesman Craig Scherer who was quite patient with my numerous email questions. He was not pushy. The car, a 2010 model, was in excellent condition. The conversion, which was done by Freedom Motors in Michigan, was also first-rate. Craig drove the car 500 miles north to my house. It was right on time and very helpful with the paperwork. Avoid doing business with the automotive section of Aero Mobility at ALL cost! The men at the automotive department at Aero Mobility are snake oil salesman of the worst kind. They only care about making money and care nothing for their customers. I would not recommend them to anybody Through Medicare, I received my power-chair through Aero Mobility. The man who came to my home to measure me for the chair was very nice. The office staff who helped me with the paperwork so I could get my chair, were very nice. But my experience with the automotive department of Aero Mobility was/has been a nightmare. Speaking with Dale, I told him what kind of car I drove and what my needs were, and he recommended the Bruno Chariot as a way to transport my power-chair on my MINI Cooper Countryman. It would take pages to explain the entirety of my hellish experience. In short, I was bait-and-switched over and over again. 1) I was quoted one price; but when I went to order the device, it was $100 more. 2) I was told they could install the device at a facility near my home. But after they had half my money and the device arrived at their store, they said I had to make the 1.5 hour drive down to their main facility. 3) I was told DMV licensing fees for the trailer was included in the price when in fact it was an additional $500. 4) I was told installation would take about two hours, when it took over six. 5) David, the "president" of the automotive department, spent ten minutes bad talking the product I just spent nearly $5000 on. 6) David insulted the salesman, Dale; he insulted my friend and me. 7) Later, when I learned that the Bruno Chariot is NOT rated/approved for use with MINI Coopers, Aero Mobility refused to give me a refund. In short, they sold me a product they knew was not rated for my car. Why? For the money. If Yelp would allow it, I would not give Aero Mobility any stars of approval, but instead, a full moon. read more

I have used mobility dealers in North County San Diego for 5 years. Most times disappointed. I was looking up other locations and came across Aero. It was a 65 mile drive but I scheduled a appointment. Much to my surprise as soon as I arrived at the facility I was greeted and my vehicle was taken back to service. I expected a repair bill in $$$. When they finished my repairs I was charged for a routine service only. No extra charge for my door and ramp not working. When the vehicle was returned it had been washed and interior and windows cleaned. A beautiful facility. I have found a mobility facility for life. Five stars are insufficient. This review is a little late in coming. We purchased a Jazzy 600 Chair and a Joey Lift for my Mother. They we great to work with and they didn't try to oversell us. They recommended the perfect equipment for us. The installation took one day and routine maintenance takes only and hour or so. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a unique problem in that I needed to be able to transport multiple scooters in one vehicle. I purchased a 2019 Ford Transit from Ford and took it to Aero Mobility in Anaheim. I cannot tell you how wonderful the staff at this location is. They discussed our options at length and answered all of our questions with knowledge and confidence. The staff installed a lift in the side door and installed a power door to allow for closing the door without touching it, either from the driver seat or from a remote that hangs on your keychain. The conversion was done quickly and without problems. I can carry 3 full size scooters and one Go-Go or 4 full size scooters with a little bit of wiggling. The goal was to allow me to transport 2 full size scooters and be able to load the scooters then get into the driver seat without exiting the vehicle. Then I can park, open the door from the driver seat, get on my scooter, deploy the ramp from the interior of the Transit, lower my scooter, stow the ramp, and close the door without getting off of the scooter. Wonderful!! Works great. I have not had any trouble with getting an appointment for maintenance. Best customer service ever!! D.M. Williams. read more

I take my van in for a routine 6 month check on the ramp annually. Every time I receive exceptional service. David is always present to see to each clients needs. Today he personally went outside site to a chrysler dealership to fix a problem with my key fob. He could have easily told me to do this, but handled it for me. While I waited, I spoke with another client who shared with me his knowledge of dealerships throughout the south land and this being the best by far over a lifetime of challenges. I also was approached by another customer in a restaurant in brea that saw the AERO logo on my van and they couldn't say enough about David and the wonderful service. 0 Stars....This company should stick to the business of wheelchair accessible vehicles. As for the DME side of their business, their doors should be closed!!! The only access to this company is via a call center. They do not respond to repeated messages sent from their call center when the patient's respiratory equipment is not functioning properly and needs to be repaired or replaced. Only after 24 hours of phone calls from myself and nurses, did a respiratory therapist respond with a negative attitude and some useless over-the-phone problem solving protocol. Resistant to the idea of doing her job of coming to the patients home to actually fix or replace equipment that the patient is dependent on 24/7 for medical reasons and by Drs order. Her excuse was that "the warehouse was closed for the weekend and she'd need to call her boss for approval". She called me back and said her boss refused to open the warehouse because he knew the patient had access to another machine that belonged to another patient. The patient, severely disabled and trach-dependent, would have to wait until Tuesday for new machine to be delivered (old machine broke on Saturday). As a part of her lack of experience and unprofessionalism, she stated that "no patient uses this particular equipment 24/7". Not true! Apparently this respiratory therapist and the owner are Drs. too! UNACCEPTABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and IRRESPONSIBLE. Jeopardizing the health, safety, and well-being of a dependent human being. This is what they are getting paid for??? Wonder if the response, or lack there of, would be the same if they were the patient. read more

I had been looking for a medical supply business that had excellent customer service and finally after visiting and trying other places to obtain my much needed CPAP equipment, I came across Aero Mobility. Looks like car dealer place from the outside, but the moment you walk inside you can feel the positive energy and welcoming of staff! This place has top rate customer service! The place is bright and very clean. The young lady that greets you is very friendly, attentive and professional. Wow! What a difference from the other medical supply places I had visited in the past weeks! I arrived early for my scheduled appointment with the RT. I did arrive early on purpose because I wanted to sit and observe customer service given to other customers as well. Trust me, this place is tops for customer service and professionalism. I had been very anxious and apprehensive about starting this CPAP treatments for my diagnosed sleep apnea. My journey brought me to the precise place to relief my inner fears as the staff here was awesome. My appointment with "Kristina RT" was great. This lady was very patient and caring, best TLC and bedside manners anyone could ask for. She was pleasant, professional and explained every detail of the equipment I would be using at home. She took her time allowing me return demonstration time of what I would be doing by myself at home. She never rushed through this appointment and remained patient and caring throughout the instructions. This business deserves more than 5 stars.
