The overall (average) rating is too low, and I'll tell you why. I'm a returning customer and I've always been happy with the service. That said, ownership changed two or three years ago, and the new owner is way more customer friendly. Shane, the new owner, is really ideal. Really knowledgeable and friendly and wants to keep your costs down. Easy peasy process with Shane. Great service. read more

Our garage door has been 'cranky' since the cold weather hit, but health issues delayed scheduling a visit. We'd used Aero before (probably for spring install), but Shane said he'd be out that evening. And he was prompt, informative and efficient. We now have a non-cranky, quiet garage door. Shane's the owner, and we feel that he went out of his way to make sure that we were taken care of. Thank you, Shane! read more

We had a great experience with this company. My wife did the research and made the appointment for them to come out and check a broken door. The technician replaced both springs and corrected a safety problem on the other door without an additional charge. read more

Aero Garage Door had originally serviced an older model garage door at my friend's house. She's 91. The technician came, said he needed to find a part, and that he would be in touch. No charge for that first visit. Then no contact. Several voicemails and emails to Aero. No replies. Several weeks later he returned, charged my friend $150 for a"fix". The "fix" only lasted for a day or two. We left several more voicemails, emails, never got a response. My friend would like her money back. Very disappointing experience. read more

Under new management with Shane, this has been a terrific experience. He gave us options in the initial consultation, with no pressure to spend more than necessary or comfortable. The final repair was excellent - great care to detail, thorough operating instructions, and a door that works smoothly. Excellent job. read more

We used Aero after a failed attempt with our extended home warranty program. This company was very quick to respond and set up service that was convenient to us. The tech was knowledgeable in diagnosing our problem and gave us a really great deal to replace our entire garage door opener. We didn't realize (until the tech pointed it out) our garage door should have two springs instead of one to make it balanced and easy to open. We would call Aero again in a heartbeat for any garage door issues in the future. read more

No moment in homeownership is quite so thrilling as when you hear a twang and a crash emanate from some indeterminate place below you in your house, and you think to yourself, "something very expensive has just happened." The past 3 times this happened to me, my oven, dryer, and AC were respectively at fault. Each time, a person recommended by Angie's List came over with a clipboard and collected an amount of cash that could easily have covered a plane trip to Tijuana, the place to which I fantasize about running away, screaming, flailing my arms, whenever I feel overwhelmed by the horror of domestic entropy. Anyway, this time it was a spring in my garage door. Which was actually lucky for me, because in the process of getting it repaired I discovered one of the area's most honest, pleasant, and responsive home repair services. They just fixed the part that was broken. Altogether, the part and labor cost $175. The repair guy didn't try to upsell me a new everything or pull the wool over my eyes about how little it was going to take to get things working. He just said he hoped that when it was time to replace my garage -- and I know as well as anyone that that's going to be soon; it's hella old -- he hopes Aero will get my business. And it will! read more

After having a terrible experience with another garage door repair company, Aero Garage swooped in and saved the day! I knew we were in good hands from the moment Joe called me to discuss the problems we were having with our current garage door. He was very helpful and offered to schedule an appointment to repair the door the very next day...on a Saturday! When that date didn't work for me, he gladly accepted the alternate date I chose. I appreciated the reminder phone calls I received from Aero on the days leading up to my appointment. Ryan was the technician who ultimately repaired our garage door. He was friendly and professional, continually walking us through the work he was completing. He also offered us suggestions on what we can do to improve the life of our current system. I read more

I am very disappointed in this company. The person who installed the garage door did not install the sensors. He doesn't wear a mask. The old ones failed within a month or so. When I called the company, the person said there was beam misalignment. He gave me attitude and didn't let me talk. I ended up calling another company who installed the sensors. Adam garage door did a beautiful job to fix it. Aero is very UNPROFESSIONAL. read more

Attitude matters, customer service matters, upfront pricing matters. This company fails to deliver on all three metrics. Spend your money somewhere else. read more

Torsion spring replaced by Aero in Oct 2016. 15 months out since the replacement, my garage door failed yesterday. I tested the door manually, and it's off balance. The rep on the phone states Torsion spring loses tension as it ages (which may be true), and wants to charge $95 for a service call to adjust the balance. I could agree that the springs may lose tension over time, but not over a year when an average torsion spring is supposed to last 5-7 years. Not sure if the spring replacement was sub-par, or the initial installation was improperly done. But, this does not feel like a quality service. read more

Called with some questions about getting service and before I could even give them my name I was literally told to F*** Off.....needless to say I will find someone else read more

In my opinion: The worst service. I wasted my time and money. The owner is rude and his behavior is inappropriate. He actually calls customers and curses them! His language i found to be appalling. I feel their follow up on scheduling appointments needs improvement. read more

We have used AERO Garage Door for many years to help fix and maintain our garage door. They are very professional, do a great job and offer good advice on garage door maintenance. Their prices are reasonable and they communicate well regarding appointment times. read more

The day after replacement of the borken spring, I had to call the tech back to fix the door again. After the same day he left, the door was not properly working again, so I called him again. However, he responded he would come if pay more. I had to call Sears to fix adjusting in a few minute almost free with a basic visiting fee only. I hope this makes a good warning for another victim? read more

Called this company to ask if they would be able to replace a spring which is under warranty. That beginning of a rude conversation. Where he did not have the decency to listen to the customer and had to interject his opinion on every sentence. And knew everything. The hoot was he hung up on me. Will complain to Amarr doors who have him listed as a preferred dealer. read more

A spring broke on our garage door on Sunday and my husband called aero as we have used them before for our garage openers. A technician came and fixed the garage door, said it was fine and left. I had another contractor at my home, so I did not close the door again until 2 hours later. It did not work. I called only to be told that I could make the adjustment myself and he could tell me how over the phone. I told him that I couldn't reach it to even close it and that I wanted them to come back. He told me that everyone was off the road for the day (it was only 4 o'clock) and they would come tomorrow or my husband could call him and he would talk him through the adjustment. Isn't that the techs job? We just paid $235.00 to be told that we had to make the adjustments. We were going to buy new garage doors here in the near future because aero was highly recommended. We will be going elsewhere. read more

The first time we used Aero in 2013 we were happy with their performance. However this last visit(s) we were VERY disappointed: late/missed appointments, poor communication. And my garage door is still not working properly!!! No sense of pride in serving their customers. Would not recommend. read more

Very rude, if zero stars was possible I would give that. I was cursed at under his breath and it was very clear that he had zero manners.

Aero is by any measure outstanding. They were here within a few hours, remembered what they had done last time (seven years ago), fixed the problem in less than 30 min. The ultimate professionals, capable and courteous. read more

Needed a new spring and called Aero. They told me they will need to order the part and get back to me. Called the next morning and told me they will be out Saturday. Called Sat and gave me a 2 hour window. Tech was competent and courteous and was done in 1/2 hour. Price was as promised. Easy transaction, would call again read more

Great job! Called on Sunday...they were here on Monday at the promised time and my garage door is fixed!
