From the very first contact with Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, I knew this was a professional,…read morekind, and deeply caring place--the funeral home I wanted to trust during the worst moment of my life. I lost my 23‑year‑old daughter in a tragic accident abroad, which made our situation uniquely complex. It required coordination between two funeral homes, international flights, extensive documentation, and tight timelines. From start to finish, Jim was absolutely extraordinary. There was no time of day that Jim would not respond--by phone, text, or email. He stayed on top of every detail, immediately flagging concerns, adjusting plans when needed, and making sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Every step of the way, I knew I was in good hands--and more importantly, that my daughter was in good hands. Jim was incredibly patient and took the time to explain each step of the process. During a moment when a family is vulnerable and could easily feel taken advantage of, Jim did the opposite--he helped me clearly understand costs and provided thoughtful options to help contain them. His integrity never wavered. I had a special request to see my daughter before she was transported home, which became especially challenging due to an upcoming three‑day holiday weekend and limited time in country. Jim personally ensured this happened--coordinating across borders, researching local funeral homes to match the level of care Wm. Sullivan & Son is known for, and staying in constant communication so I always knew what was happening. Because of Jim and his staff, I was able to see my daughter. That meant everything to me. Once I returned home, Jim guided my family through funeral planning with the same compassion and professionalism. The atmosphere of the funeral home was peaceful, and the entire staff was welcoming and empathetic. We were never rushed or pressured. On the days of visitation and the funeral, everything was flawless--all we had to do was show up, and Jim and his team handled everything with quiet excellence. One moment that will always stay with me: even at the cemetery, during the final moments, Jim personally walked the perimeter as the vault was being sealed, ensuring everything was properly aligned and done with care. It was not his responsibility--but that's who Jim is. From start to finish, the same attention to detail, compassion, and dignity never faded. I almost never write reviews--not on Google, not on Amazon--but Jim and the entire Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home staff truly moved my heart. They made an unbearable experience feel supported, personal, and filled with compassion, and they cared for my daughter with the same love and respect I would have given her myself. I cannot thank them enough.

They were my first stop when I started looking at engagement rings simply because they were close to my office, but after my experience with them I'd gladly drive out of my way to go back in the future. They helped me fine tune what I was looking for during that first stop in by showing me a wide selection of engagement rings without pressuring me to buy at all. This is something I can't say about the other jewelry shops I visited while searching for an engagement ring. Those "other places" which shall remain nameless pushed me to buy from the moment I stepped into the store. So after doing my research at a variety of shops, I ended up going back to Lucido because of their great selection of beautiful jewelry, willingness to work with me on the price, and their overall helpful, friendly customer service. Lucido is a prime example of how great customer service goes a long way in building loyal customers. I was so pleased by that initial experience that I've gone back to them on multiple occasions for other items and we even bought our wedding bands there! I worked with a number of the staff at the Birmingham location, and they were all great, but I have to single out one: Sahrob Jabero. Sahrob has been absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the last year or two. Over the course of multiple visits and a lot of emails, she really helped me find the perfect engagement ring that my now-wife absolutely adored when I presented it to her and still cherishes to this day. Sahrob has continued to be super helpful and friendly every time I've gone back for other items, which is a large part of the reason I keep returning. I can't say enough about how great she was to work with and would recommend any person starting their engagement ring search (or looking for any other jewelry) go see her today! Thanks Sahrob!

I have wasted my time and her texts continue with her bull shit and deceit. After waiting 3 years, I still have no Rolex from Lucido's and she continues to send me her BS texts. I finally tell her to get lost and she plays the blame game. Candace might look good, play the game-good, with her little gold Rolex, but she is your typical clown full of a masquerade of dishonesty and circus games. My advice? This is a clown show!
