The dealership had lost internet service due to a windstorm--something that would disrupt most businesses--but they still managed to process all the paperwork without any issues. Pricing was fair and straightforward, with no surprises. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent, and the staff was professional, responsive, and genuinely courteous. Terrible service. I was quoted 8,600$ for a 2006 dirt bike full rebuild. I asked for, and was told this was bare minimum to get it running. 8,600$. Two days after I had the bike get looked at by a DIFFERNT tech and they had it running with only needing valve shims. In total I paid 700$ for the fix when macomb powersports wanted 8,600$. I suggest you look into more experienced technicians. read more

Absolutely do not bring your smile to be repaired here ever! We took our Honda snowblower in to have it looked at and they charged us $150 just to look at it and then tell us that it was going to be $450 to have it repaired. Took it over to burlier and sons and they charged $50 to look at it and $99 for a tuneup the carburetor which power sports that needed to be replaced to be cleaned thoroughly and the meter bar which they said needed to be replaced was a small minor possible replacement. What a rip off shame on you Powersports. read more

Well this is some very strange news, albeit untruthful. I was never told why the machine would not run, this was my biggest concern how I could give a business over $300 and have them not be able to return a simple answer. This newly concocted reply is a feeble attempt to save face. It is a known defect of this motor that the starter mechanism goes bad on these machines. In my case I had already removed the starter gear and bushing to make this unit a pullstart only machine, which I explained to the service rep. I also told him the machine had a NOS carburetor and that it runs, but backfires. The business model for this dealer is clearly to make money, the problem is it is at the detriment of their customer. Take money, is paramount provides an adequate service is of minimal concern. My machine ran going in, quite well at idle I might add. I also mentioned that this issue was thought to be electrical, but no attempts to my knowledge were ever attempted to check for faults. An engine rebuild is 100% a false diagnosis and under competent service I promise this will be revealed. I just wonder how many dollars have been wasted by customers at this place? The reviews won't lie, too bad these guys continue to do so. read more

I took my jetski in for warranty work, they where shady about the progress, said they where waiting on parts so I stopped up there and it was all together. They scratched up the machine and didn't say anything. I took it to a different dealer for warranty work and was informed that who worked on it before (Macomb power sports) hacked up machine, did some jerry rigging stuff, filling the driveshaft seal full of silicone instead of replacing the seal and. the list goes on!!!! read more

We ordered a part online with eBay and as soon as we ordered it we found out that it would not fit. When we emailed we got a real smart mouth answer from this company about how they were not responsible for our Afterthought. The part is 68 dollars and obviously that would break the bank of this company to take it back. Also it took over a month to get it and they blamed it on the mail. How interesting it is that all the other stuff we have ordered through this pandemic came in just a few days. When we called to check on the tracking number we got that it had gone back to this business. Well, i went there on a wednesday with my girlfriend looking for a motorcycle jacket,and i found one but it happened to be the last one from that brand in that size and i was broke and didnt get paid until friday. I asked the girl who immediately helped us when she seen we were looking for one. I asked her if they would hold it for metill friday,and with zero money down, she did. I came in that friday and purchased it after she had pulled it out from behind the counter where she was holding it for me. With that said, i am very impressed that they looked out for me like that being a brand new customer. I absolutely plan to go back there for my motorcycle maintenance and any accessories i may need! I have been a long time customer returning year after year to service my jet skis that I bought from m Powersports. Vince has always helped me, in the past I may have overlooked the overinflated charges for winterizing etc trusting them to do the job . This year before they even quoted me a price Vince told me he wouldn't be able to properly remove all the lake scum off the skis yet he was going to still charge me 150 per ski to do so . He then went on to charge me 109.60 to ground my trailer connection a job that takes literally 5 min. Macomb Powersports owes me a explanation for how they feel it's Rt to charge over 1100$ to simply prepare my 2 jet skis for winter storage. I came to this place to buy a new ATV. It's just my bad luck that I got stuck With David as my salesman. I came in a couple times before I decided on a Yamaha Grizzly LE. I had no complaints throughout they buying process, and the salesman took care of all the paperwork and financing without an issue. I agreed to the price they told me, the only thing I asked was that they give me a deal on a helmet and was told that wouldn't be a problem. I came back the next day and signed the paperwork and picked up the machine. After I was home and looking at the bill, I noticed I was charged full price on the helmet. I called David, and he told me it was an honest mistake, but being it was rolled into the loan, there was nothing that he could do. Because it was his mistake, my reply was "I just dropped over $11,000 on a machine, and paid full price for this helmet, could you throw in a helmet ($150) for my girl so she can ride the bike too?" He replied "Whoa! I don't know about all that. I'll have to ask a manager and see what I can do about giving you some kind of store credit." That phone call was less then a minute long, but was a complete 180 degree turn. When I hung up the phone, I knew I'll never hear from him again, and took it as a lesson learned, and decided to put it behind me. I could have saved $30 buying that same helmet through Amazon, but that's beside the point. A month and a half later a woman from the dealership calls to ask how my buying experience was, and so I told her. David called a couple days after that and says "I thought you were cool with getting a discount on your girlfriends helmet." I remember that call well, and that's not how it went. Over a month had passed, and I was completely over it, but just hearing that clown's voice again ruined my day. Right then I decided I would write this review. After spending that kind of money, NO WAY I was breaking out my wallet to give them more money to get what should have been taken care of in the bill. It certainly wasn't about the 50 bucks or whatever they were going to give me, it was defiantly the principle! On the other hand, I did have a warranty issue 200 miles from home and called the store. The manager, Jay, was very helpful assisting me with getting the problem solved. He even called back a couple days later to make sure the issue was fixed, even though he had nothing to do with the situation. And the guy who got the commission wouldn't have called back at all if it were not for the phone survey. I'm not saying the place is that bad, but I will say deal with anybody there except David. read more

I came in with a zx10 with a somewhat sever in my opinion blown fork seal (I had little puddles it was so bad). I took care of some routine maintenance as well as this major fix for my bike in a few short hours. Service was great at communication which makes the process easier. My work was finished sooner than I had expected. After my short ride home I couldn't be happier with it. You wince a little when you have to make the payment for work but when you feel and notice it in every aspect of that short ride home, you forget you even paid anything. Parts and services were fairly priced as I checked around a little before diving in. I'll be back for my routine services when they're needed. Thanks for keeping me safe while I be reckless guys! I took my old Yamaha Waverunner in for major repairs only to find out that extensive damage was found. Corey in service was great about following up on my options. I ended up purchasing a new Waverunner from Bruce who was very helpful and informative. The support staff are friendly and attentive. I was not pressured into either the repair or replacement option but I was given clear and concise information concerning all my options. Great for buying an atv. Staff is good, but when you sell a product sell quality. Our atv is great but our cycle country plow broke in under a month. Trying to deal with the manufacturer has been less than fun. I find out from other vendors that our problems are well known in the industry. If so why carry the line. My advice.....good place for atv but stay away from cycle country accessories, esp the manual lift plow assembly. One month old and I am waiting for parts by mail.....not happy! read more

Bought my 2018 gsxr 1000 from here not long ago. It was a great experience and gave me the best deal locally for my machine. Reason for the 4 star is because I had them correct my name on my paperwork before signing it and it was still sent to my creditor with the misspelling causing issues with my title. This place is convenient because it is the closest, most well stocked shop in Metro Detroit, but that's about all this place has to offer. I brought my motorcycle there that was an 08 with low miles for some recalls and rode it in just fine. When I got the call to pick it up I was excited to get it back but that excitement ended quickly when the bike wouldn't even start. The service manager was the most stubborn and rude lady I have met at any shop ever. She refused to help me out at all with the price or anything so a quick free recall work ended up costing me over $200. My bikes will NEVER be anywhere near that shop again. I recommend a shop that is ran by people who ride and with Competitive Performance not even 5 minutes away this place has lost my business forever. I even considered pressing charges as I believe they tried to make a quick buck off my bike while it was in for the recalls but they're sure thorough when it comes to covering themselves for liability which makes it even more fishy. Wow, what can I say. This place is horrible. From the parts counter to the sales people one of the most unhelpful places I have ever been to. Don't waste your time going here go to K&W (not to fond of that place either) but to give you a little insight on my review. My buddy and I stopped up there to look at a 4 wheeler told the guy we were ready to buy if the price was right. They came down like $200 bucks off msrp. While my buddy was playing with the sales rep and the "manager" I called k&w their price on the exact same unit over the phone and OTD was $900 cheaper than Macomb that we were standing in to buy it. Needless to say we bought from K&W. Now Parts I think they get their employees from McDonalds because that is all they do is take orders they have ZERO knowledge of anything. They will act as they know or that they are helping you but you will soon find out that they don't know anything and you will be going back a few times to get the right parts for your job.
