While I'm waiting I'm listening to music on headphones, not really paying attention to people walking by, just watching for the customer in front of me to be served, when a woman approaches me from the side and waves a paint stick in my face then ask if I'm standing in line. WTF do you think? Then once key is made, customer service rep June forgets to give original key back I had to ask for it. Top it all off, check out kid Alex gave me a hard time about accepting the coupon. I should say this seems indicative of a recent trend in advertising on the part of local retailers: send coupons or offers to someone's home only to have the customer find out upon arrival sorry we don't take that coupon or sorry that's out of stock or we don't carry that item etc the old bait and switch routine get someone in your store with a free offer or coupon offer and then offer up excuses when the customer wants to redeem the offer. Needless to say I did contact Ace's corporate offices as they're the ones who sent the coupon the local store didn't but they were no help they say store is independently owned and operated so they can make their own policies about whether or not they want to accept our coupons.
