No…read morematter what, the job that may be. . . since we've kept our previous estimates back in March, we are not ready to get our roofing done then, until we got all our priorities taken care of and we started to get new estimates plus those done in March - updated. So, it wasn't hard for us to pick one, and we're ready to hire someone, now! With that said: This is the first time that we have someone HARASSING US (desperate enough?), by phone calls ( 5 times in one day, and not leave us messages), even sending me a TEXT, after I text him back: "no thanks, we've picked someone else." I thought, that would stop all the phone calls, then, for the last time, he called me again (1 week later), and not leave a message. I called Shane (the guy on my phone who have been calling me, but his name is not Shane) and asked him: "What can I do for you?" "WHO are you really calling?" A person, or company calling excessively for more than 3 calls, is DESPERATE! A person calling & hanging up, not leaving a message is at anytime a RUDE person! That's what Telemarketers do, all the time, and this company is acting like a telemarketer & being rude, and is harassing in my book! I do not deal with a company who doesn't behave in a professional manner. (What if they're applying for a job, sent in a resume, and keeps calling the company again & again, if he got the job? Same scenario!) And the rudest part is? YOU don't ever ask: "Who did we pick?" INOYB My name is not even on his date base, and doesn't have a clue, if he had given me an estimate or got my text! BTW: Amanda was the person who came to my house to give us estimates, when I was told it would be Shane.

He was able to find the issue within 10 minutes and sealed off the area in 20 min. He found there were other areas on our roof that could use some preventative care. He later supplied a reasonable quote and offered to come back the following morning. We had other options but knew we would go with him. The job was finished the next day in about an hr. Leak is gone, and roof is further reinforced. The weather this week in particular has been a cold, windy, and wet one. There was even a light dusting of snow the night before Victor came to work on our roof. We appreciated his proactiveness, and friendly demeanor in our situation. I'd recommend him to any of my neighbors who may have similar issues.

So happy we went with Klam Construction! Pre-Covid, Abel did an extremely thorough and thoughtful…read morejob of inspecting our home, and explaining his plan to replace our roof. We had had three other companies visit and he stood out for his professionalism and knowledge - he was the only person who a) observed that our house was built in 1937 and b) explained its long and likely history of poor roof choices, which led to c) his plan for a new system that would help the old girl finally breathe as she was originally designed to do. We wound up putting off the project due to the pandemic, so had a lot of time to consider our options. We decided that along with Klam's quality came peace of mind, and so secured them this winter. The team came out and finished in two days; were awesome and frankly we are still shocked by how clean the site was after they left; they did a great job of clean-up! Also have to say we so appreciated Katie in the office; she is highly communicative and we had a clear idea of schedule thanks to her. PS, this alone is another plus for Klam; two of the other companies we'd looked at went totally silent after their visit and one became super pushy. Total professionals here. Which brings me to another key point - Klam was one of only two contractors (of the four we interviewed) who were honest about the condition and cost. Now, we knew going into it that we had FOUR layers of roof up there - literally decades of previous owners doing their own DYI patchwork fixes. Really interesting/disturbing to observe that two companies told us there were only two layers, and casually mentioned "more" would be charged "if" they discovered extra. Klam was the only company who said straight up, "There are four layers, and here is what it will cost." We of course opted for their clear, no surprises estimate. We feel a million times better for having gone with this high-quality group of professionals (who are also just very nice people). Thank you, Klam Construction, you guys rock!

They kept the job site clean each day and spent a lot of time after they finished making sure they had picked everything up from the yard. From the very beginning, Diana and her entire team did an impeccable job. We were so impressed with their professionalism and work ethic that we began discussing other projects, and discovered they also specialize in insulation. Given their fantastic work, we hired them for a larger insulation project in several areas, including our garage, attic, husband's shop/pole barn, and interior bathroom walls (using Rock Wool for better acoustics). Their prices were great, and their expertise truly shone when they seamlessly patched all the holes which were necessary in order to blow in the insulation. Job preparation was excellent, minimizing dust from sanding, and when the entire project was complete, they cleaned up beautifully. We couldn't be happier with the results and the outstanding service provided by R&K. Highly recommended!
