There are simply not enough good things I could say about Austin and Momma Bear Roofer. Before I…read moreget silly with how much I love them let me give you some cold hard facts. Allstate was being an absolute butt about the massive hail damage we received. Our roof was totaled, we appealed, they denied, we appealed they denied claiming "the hail ONLY bent the metal attic vents and the shingles were fine". Austin was able to recommend an independent adjuster for us to hire to help us fight our claim and ALMOST INSTANTLY Allstate jumped all over themselves to buy us a new roof. Hire these guys. I haven't even mentioned how they got to us quickly and completed the roof in LESS than a single day despite it being roughly the temperature of the surface of the sun. Perfectly professional, cleaned up after themselves to perfection, ZERO complaints. With that in mind, here is a sonnet to express my love: In a world of roofing, a company's grace, A tender touch upon each rooftop's face, "Momma Bear Roofer," a name so sweet, With strength and love, they mend and they meet. Through stormy skies and scorching heat, They shield our homes, their labor neat, With care and warmth, they tend the leaks, A love for roofs, so strong it speaks. Their skillful hands, like gentle paws, Secure our shelter, without flaws, From dawn to dusk, they toil and strive, To keep us safe, their love alive. Oh, "Momma Bear Roofer," how we adore, Your passion for roofs, forevermore, In every shingle laid with care, A love for homes, beyond compare.

Momma Bear Roofer is great. I hired them on the recommendation of a friend, initially to repair…read moresome storm damage to the roof, then later to install a new roof. Austin C. worked with my insurance company by identifying and photographing roof damage, and then met with the insurance adjuster to go over what they'd found. Momma Bear Roofer also managed/coordinated the other contractors for the painting, gutters and additional repairs. Austin C.'s communication was great by keeping me up to date on the projects status and responding quickly to all of my questions. I'm very happy with Momma Bear Roofer's work. I appreciate their flexibility and highly recommend them.

So, it was ordered in the early AM well the next day nothing, the 2nd day nothing. Finally, the order came in and moved to the install location. Boxes were inspected and damaged items came from the warehouse. The warehouse just taped up the boxes and sent them out anyway with damaged product. To top that all off the Pflugerville office would only refund a complete box and not the individual planks (yes, the charged me for damaged product) As far as Cody Dorris, seemed like he would say (lie) anything to make the sale. Also, the order was not delivered 100% 18 days later still no answer form the warehouse as to the remaining order, nor will they refund the for the late product. NOTE make sure you order what you need and not over order, they do not refund the returns. This is not my go-to store, I found better service and product elsewhere.

My experience with Heritage Roofing & Construction, specifically Megan B (Managing Partner), has…read morebeen beyond unacceptable. I submitted a warranty repair request on April 3, 2026 and paid $250 after discovering a leak in my bathroom ceiling--during a period of heavy rain in Texas, when timing actually matters. It took FIVE days just to get a response on April 8th. I replied the very next day, April 9th, and then was completely ignored. I followed up repeatedly on April 13th, sending all requested documentation. No response. I emailed again on April 14th--still nothing. After nearly two weeks of being ignored, Megan finally replied on April 15th only to say the warranty doesn't transfer. That's information that should have been disclosed BEFORE taking my $250. Since then? Total silence again. I've emailed on April 15th, 17th, and 20th and called multiple times. No answers. No follow-up. No attempt to resolve anything. Meanwhile, the leak has continued to get worse. This company had no problem taking my money, but apparently has zero interest in communication, transparency, or basic customer service. Being ignored while dealing with an active roof leak is beyond frustrating--it's infuriating. If you value your time, your money, or your home, stay far away from this company.

Update 2 - we are still having a leaking roof! We finally heard back from heritages warranty dept…read more(Meghan) they've sent their warranty crew out to our home for a second time finding themselves liable for also not cleaning up after themselves as well as not properly sealing the hi hat vents on the roof which is now caused leaks in three of my rooms. They finally refunded our warranty charge of $250 because they were proven liable. However We've been given nothing but the runaround from her and she's now unresponsive to our emails and we still have leaks causing more damage in our bathroom after we just had them fixed. This company is completely incompetent of handling these issues and don't stand behind their workmanship or lack there of. They don't call you and have a call center to screen their calls. We have bills now surmounting and they don't want to pay those from the damages their roof as caused. I will continue to write updates until we are satisfied with their fix and they pay us for the damages. UPDATE: We now 11 months later have damage to our home due to a poorly installed roof. They failed to clean up after the job and proceeded to stuff our gutter full of roofing materials. We got a flat tire due to a roofing nail left behind and find nails in our driveway after hard rains a lot. Needless to say the back up of water caused our water to hit our stone and create a leak which then went into our home in our office and bathroom. When we called them three times to reach someone at the company. We were greeted by an answering service be they sold out to a Private Equity Firm and no longer take calls. They also changed their warranty policy and now charge $250 fee to Do a warranty repair. When we tried to contact Amy via email she didn't return the emails we sent to her. Besides an email that they were coming out to fix the issues. Well they failed to do that. They sent a guy who couldn't speak English and brought a chalk gun and a crow bar and proceeded to push more debris down our gutter. They them claimed it wasn't a warranty issue and wiped their hands clean of the situation. Meanwhile I have water in my home as well as damage. Sam, Who was our sales person was kind enough to help us find people to help us during the rains to help prevent the continued flooding. But now we are left with bills that Heritage is responsible for. We have videos and photos of the mess they left as well as the little work they did on our home which didn't fix the issues. This company is now a scam. Don't expect any warranty help once you get a roof from them.
