I just had a 6' x 6' shed installed yesterday. I was very impressed with the 2 man crew that built it on site. I did not get their names but they are brothers. They know what they are doing. They were friendly, asked questions on placement of window and 2 shelves I had installed. Those shelves are secure. I'm so glad I added them for not much extra cost. The shed feels very sturdy and solid. The door is very strong and heavy in a good way! I've attached 2 pictures. I wasn't expecting to be so excited about a shed, but I am. From start to finish the process has been easy. I did my homework before going to the showroom in Round Rock, got samples of a few paint colors and one matched my house exactly. There was even a little left over for touch ups, if needed. I recommend Tuff Shed absolutely. From my first meeting with Michael to build complete it was easy. Tuff Shed 15524 N IH-35 Austin, TX 78728.Not Recommended. Mike Woodyard is just like a car salesman. He was also Abrasive and rude. I was interested in a 10X4 shed for about 3,000. In the first meeting Mike Woodyard said pay down half at the time of the contract. In the second meeting i signed the contract and Mike Woodyard said pay in full. Against my better judgement i charged the amount on my CC. Not feeling comfortable due to his abrasiveness and inconsistencies about leveling the ground and the additional expense that might occur, i called him and let him know that i was cancelling the purchase. He quickly called back upset and informed me that i had already signed the contract. But he would do me a favor and give me a 10% discount. I told him i was not interested in the 10% discount and that i was going dispute the charge as i was within the cancellation period. Be very careful when making a purchase with Tuff Shed-Michael Woodyard. Read the contract in advance. If possible, try to narrow down the final cost. Leveling the ground is a variable cost and it's not very clear what is included. Michael Woodyard was lose with his answers and often felt annoyed when questioned. And finally, protect yourself by falling within the cancelation period. ***Contract Clearly reads: Making of final payment constitutes waiver of all claims by owner AGAINST Tuff Shed*** He/They will inform you that they have built more than xyz sheds and that they have xyz years of experience. But what we don't' know is how many of those built sheds had or have problems after final payment -wavering claims against Tuff Shed. He/They will tell you that you're signing a contract with them, locally, but that is not true. In reality, you're signing a nationwide contract. I contracted Sheds and More, LLC in Pflugerville, TX for my 10X4 shed. The contract was very clear as to what i was purchasing including the leveling and the number of bricks used. read more

I bought a shed through Home Depot. Overall good price for what I got. However the install was a disaster. We had to kick one crew off our property due to their disrespect for my property and the fact they didn't see us as the customer. The next crew was a one man show to install the rest of the shed (he did a pretty good job). So far we've had two warranty requests, both involving the windows that were installed incorrectly. The manager/superintendent did not return my multiple correspondence to him over a 6 week period for my last warranty request until I told him I was going to complain to the BBB. Then they magically showed up the next business day. I work in construction so I know this industry very well. I know things don't go according to plan. I know there can be install issues or communication problems. But Tuff Shed failed to live up to my minimum customer expectations for the amount of money I paid. My experience with Tuff Shed far exceeded my expectations. From the start, working with Michael in the Round Rock office was smooth, to the end with Anthony and his helper setting up my premier ranch shed within 4 hours was fantastic! Michael was knowledgable and helped me pick out and design a building that would meet my needs. Anthony was friendly, showed up right on time, and did a great job building the shed. I was on the fence and wanted a good shed for the $$ paid, but once I saw tuff Shed's materials and the warranty, I was sold. Now that the building is built, I am very happy with my decision. I HATE to write negative reviews. Today was the absolute last straw with Tuff Shed! On October 2. I put a down payment on a shed that was on the lot. I was told by Jesse, that they could dissemble it and deliver it. That the unit would be getting a new roof, that it could be delivered in two weeks, that they could paint the trim, and that if I wanted a different door the delivery guy would be happy to swap it out for me when it was delivered. Every single one of these things turned out to be not true. It's now near the end of December. And the FIRST delivery attempt was made just today. This comes after months of futile and frustrating attempts to set up a delivery date with Terri in Buda, who would take days to weeks to return my calls, and was rude and unpleasant whenever I spoke to her. We had a delivery date set up way back in early November. My husband took the day off work because, Jesse says he misspoke when he said that they could dissemble the unit to deliver. Which meant that we had to remove our fence to have it delivered. So we paid someone to do that, and less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery, Terri called to say they couldn't deliver because the truck was broken, so we had to pay someone to put the fence back. She promised to callback when it was fixed. Three weeks go by without a call back and I finally give them a call.. And the truck is fixed. But she didn't bother to call and let me know. I went out if the country for a while. Prior to leaving a dropped a message on Teri's voicemail asking her to call my husband as I would be unreachable. She did not attempt to call him to schedule at any point while I was gone for FOUR weeks! So today... They finally try to deliver the unit. The driver said no way would he help Change the door, the trim wasn't painted, and despite my telling Jesse that it wasn't likely it would be able to be delivered intact, they tried it anyway. Before they even got to my house they had broken a window and broken one of the support beams that hold up the roof on the porch. During the delivery attempt they broke the support beam further, scratched the unit beyond repair and finally gave up, 2 hours later. No shed. It's been 3 and a half months. I had told them when I purchased it, that it was to be a guest house, because I was having guests at Christmas, so the timing was important. The driver told me that they were planning on building another unit exactly the same on the lot to replace the lot unit that I purchased. And maybe they could bring that to my house and assemble it here! I was pretty upset, but I agreed that was ok. However, when my husband spoke to Jesse he was told that we could do that but it would cost nearly another $2000 dollars (on top of the near $5000 cost). If not they could just mail our deposit back. My husband tried to call jesse back, but he would not take our call. So unprofessional and Not acceptable. We've lost so much more than time screwing around with this company. We've not only NOT gotten our shed in time for our Christmas guests, we've lost all the interest that my deposit could have made if I left it in my mutual fund, a day's pay for my husband, and the money we paid to have the fence taken down and put back up twice. And they want us to simply take our deposit back. No offer of compensation for my husband's lost day of work, nor for the money we had to pay the laborers to take down and replace he fence twice and certainly no offer of interest on the $2500 they have been holding hostage for 3.5 months. WORSE: No apologies, no attempts to make it right, nothing... Let me tell you. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They will screw you over big time and not even care! We will be telling everyone my husband works with at #Dell to stay far away. This is literally the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered! read more

We paid extra to have the shed pushed against the wall. We verified with the crew that came out to build it and they got right to work on install day. They waited until it was all the way done and said "we won't be able to do that". It was installed 5 days ago and they still haven't come back with the shingles and shelves. We've been speaking with Jason at the customer service team, but they keep saying moving it will affect the warranty (how is that our problem?). The shed itself is very nice, but it's an eyesore at the moment and the sharp edges they left hanging out on the back are dangerous for our kid and dogs. read more

Extremely fast and we are so happy! We ordered a 10x8 Shed and couldn't be happier with Mike the salesperson and David the installer. They were friendly and efficient in their help throughout the process. We literally ordered the shed on a Satruday and one week later, on Monday, the shed is standing in our backyard. Pretty amazing! I thought we would be waiting for a month. The pricing was very similar to what we were even quoted 2 years prior to actually purchasing. It took us a while to get on the ball. Never had a chance to experience a purchase since the salesperson rushed out the door as we pulled into the driveway. He got in his car and left without ever speaking to us. All he had to do was tell us that they were already closing and we would've come back the next day. Instead he never looked in our direction as he sped away. Mike was my salesman at the Round Rock office and did he always seemed to be short and bothered when I called. Being that I've never built a shed I had quite the questions. I went in to change original plans after thinking more about the interior planning. We went over the specs and changed a few things to make more since of our space. However, he didn't make the changes on paper. I mistakenly signed trusting it was right and the crew shows up to build with incorrect design. Now they say if we want a change it will cost us more. Also, the install time was from 8:30-10:30. Well I got a call at 7 and they arrived before 8. I get wanting to start early because of heat/ traffic but I should've been told the earlier time. Customer Service is a HUGE issue!!!! We have been waiting for over a month for our shed to be installed. From not receiving call backs, them trying to cancel out order, to every excuse as to why their installers are not able to come out when promised. Save yourself the headache. We purchased from Home Depot, great experience there. The sales guy to help with permit was awesome. The installer (who finally came) was a contractor and is a wonderful person.
