We wanted a shed. It had to conform with our HOA requirements. I had to be affordable. It had to look nice, as it's visible from almost every window in the house. I was interested first in DNA Sheds because their pricing is reasonable. I contacted Adam, who is responsive and knowledgeable. He has an easy-to-understand kind of base + fee for additional things (such as cost to add a window, etc). He was likewise responsive to meet for estimate and schedule the actual install. Adam and team were on time for estimate and install. The shed was completed in a day. I couldn't believe it. It's solid. It's been in place for about 2 years (I'm late to the review) and has had minimal shifting, is still level, rain-tight solid construction. It meets our HOA requirements. He came in exactly on the budget estimate. It looks great - neighbors think we installed a mother-in-law suite or mini apartment. Nope, it's just our lawn equipment. DNA sheds is awesome! I had a crusty old shed that I had taken down and removed. I initially just wanted a basic shed to replace it and didn't really care too much about it's functionality or how it looked (It's just to hold yard crap, right?). But then I spoke with Adam and he told me about options to add windows and doors (that were very inexpensive to include) and then I realized that I did actually want it to look nice and be more functional. Adam came to my house for a free consultation and to look at and measure some shelving that I planned to put in the shed. He was genuinely interested in making sure the design the shed would fit my needs. In the end I had two windows installed and a regular exterior door (instead of a shed door that comes with the shed) so I can lock it more securely and there would be natural light inside. They installed and painted it (with paint I provided so it matches my home) in one day leaving me with a beautiful shed all for a price lower than the same size shed sold at home improvement stores. The appointment was pretty easy to set up. There was a mix-up on the shed installation date and the direction of the shed, which was frustrating. At first I thought it was s no-show. It was hard to get a hold of them because they only have a landline. However, the quality of work is very good and you can customize your shed however you want. Also, the price was reasonable. I honestly could not be happier. I've been tossing around the idea of a shed for about a year and once I decided I couldn't live without one, got stressed about how to go about building one. After my first call with Adam I knew these guys were the way to go for a few reasons: 1) the price. They weren't cheap, but I felt like they were priced right. To where they weren't cutting corners but had this streamlined to where they could provide a better price than Lowe's. 2) the service. I got a response from adam to all my questions through email or by phone within just a few hours of each inquiry. 3) the customization. I love that adam gave me the options of selecting my own windows, doors, size, roof type and paint colors/type. Even gave me ideas on where to get cheap and unique windows and doors. 4) the job. His crew is professional and polite and the cleaned up and hauled off all work debris. The new shed is awesome. All 2x4 16" on center construction and very solid.
