I didn't read reviews about this place before bringing my dog here.... As I continue to read them…read morenow, I see a lot of mix reviews about this place. I took my dog (a 64-pound nonaggressive, submissive pit bull mix) for half a day daycare, when I picked him up, I was notified that he was injured from another dog who had nicked his ear... I was upset that i was not notified of the incident when it had happened. My dog had blood dripping down his ear, onto his coat.. onto my car.. and every time he shook his head it would splatter elsewhere. I was on facetime with my fiancée and we were both surprised because we expected this to be such a fun experience for our dog! he seemed under stress and rushed to get into my car on the way out literally pulling me to leave. I tried to call for the manager and didn't get a call back. I ended up emailing the manager that same evening and got a response back reporting she had been in the ER with a family member the day before and couldn't reach out to me beforehand (totally understandable so i didn't get upset about the delayed response). What I did not like, was the way she downplayed the incident and the fact that I wanted to be notified when my dog is injured in her email to me... she reported she doesn't know me well enough to know I would want to get notified but as any dog parent knows, it's the principle to know- whether its big or small- and who wouldn't want to get notified when their dog is injured. Especially as my dog was actively gushing blood from his ear. It might've not been a big wound, but it was still bleeding a lot. I took my dog to the vet, and he was put on antibiotics. The manager of this location was able to reach out to the other dog's owner to pay for my vet visit, but it was submitted to the account for future visits.. and I no longer feel comfortable leaving my dog at this place. This might work out for others but unfortunately didn't for me!

Update: Read the owner's response but doesn't really address what I wrote. It was kind of them to…read moreaccommodate us -- several other places did too, especially since you can't really schedule a skunk bath that far in advance, skunk's don't make appointments. Her comment is also defensive and inaccurate--I called them around 5 pm. She just didn't get back to us until 9:45 pm. Answering service was told 15-20 min late but didn't say that wasn't ok, I ALSO texted her as a courtesy and she said something different. Had we never texted her IN ADDITION to calling, we would've driven the 45 min to get there and then told we were too late. So much for running an "efficient" business and being "honored" by people who choose them. The Wall Street background lack of people skills is definitely not for every potential customer. Just warning those who, like me, prefer warm and informative communication especially during a moment of distress with my dog. Google reviews also show a pattern of bad, ineffective, and dangerous communication (where dogs were injured). I guess she just doesn't care. Dodged a bullet! Yikes! The owner was SUPER defensive from the jump before we even brought our dog in. That tells me the business has been criticized a lot and she's very tense about it. Not the kind of atmosphere you want for your dog. Hostile and dangerous. The people who work there probably save the place's rep but they'll come and go and it's too risky--go somewhere kinder and actually professional.

I can't recommend Nancy at Know Your Dog Training highly enough…read more After doing extensive research to find the right trainer, I'm so glad I found Nancy. From the beginning it was clear that she has a deep understanding of dogs and brings a calm, confident, and professional approach to everything she does. My dog Kane completed a training program with her, and I was extremely impressed with the experience and the results. Nancy takes the time to truly understand each dog and provides the kind of structure, guidance, and consistency that helps dogs thrive. Since then, Nancy has also become my trusted go-to whenever I travel. Knowing Kane is in her care gives me tremendous peace of mind. He always comes home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. What really sets Nancy apart is the level of attention and personalization she provides. This isn't a typical boarding situation -- she genuinely gets to know the dogs she works with and creates a thoughtful, structured environment for them. Nancy is trustworthy, caring, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does. I'm very grateful I found her and would recommend Know Your Dog Training without hesitation to anyone looking for a skilled trainer or a safe, reliable place for their dog while they're away.

Nancy was referred to me by another trusted dog trainer I worked with in the city, and I'm so glad…read moreshe was. Having a city dog isn't easy -- our 4-year-old Wheaten Terrier (female) has tons of energy, a stubborn streak, and some anxiety and reactivity issues around other dogs. We were looking for help with leash training and overall confidence, and Nancy was the perfect fit. From the very first interaction, Nancy was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She clearly loves what she does and cares deeply about every dog she works with. I enrolled our pup in a month-long board-and-train program while I was getting married, and Nancy made the experience completely stress-free. She stayed in constant communication, sending regular updates, photos, and videos that showed the progress and the specific behaviors being worked on -- plus advice for us as owners to reinforce at home. When our dog came back, the difference was night and day. She's calmer, more responsive, and walks beautifully on a leash with far fewer distractions. Her reactivity around other dogs has improved dramatically, and she seems much more confident overall. Even after the program ended, Nancy went above and beyond -- she included additional follow-up lessons at no cost and still checks in to see how things are going. Her board-and-train setup is amazing too: the dogs aren't kept in kennels but get to enjoy the outdoors, sunshine, and plenty of attention and enrichment. I can't recommend Know Your Dog and Nancy enough for anyone looking for dog training, board-and-train programs, or boarding with a personal touch. Nancy truly changed our dog's behavior -- and our lives -- for the better.

My dog was boarded and a daycare attendee at this facility a few times. No issues. Scratches here…read moreand there but I assumed that's what can happen at a doggy daycare. On Tuesday 3/15/22 I got a call to pick up my dog because he has gotten into it with another dog. I was told that my dog "was lock-jawed onto another's neck, shaking back and forth" I thought OMG is that dog ok!!! They told me "he's ok! No blood; no gash; just a scratch" . Well; that's odd. My dogs 85 lbs and it that did happen (which clearly not) that dog would be hurt! I was told by owner he was working on getting the video. He then became mad because I said I wasn't letting this go and hung up the phone on me, proceeded to block me from text and Facebook! Then he posted on his business page (which has now been deleted) the photo I have shared..... I don't want money. I just want to know what happened to my dog! What is on that video that you won't show me? What is this place hiding!? If you love your dog, please don't send them here! They are shady and hiding things, as you can see. Horrible business practice.

He runs to the front door and impatiently waits for someone to open the door and he bolts in and can't wait to spend the day with his friends. Murphy gets to interact all day with different dogs. By the time we pick him up, he's pooped! It's a comforting feeling knowing that he is cared for so well! We have access to a live feed camera to check on him at any time. The employees there treat each animal as if it was their own. We're truly blessed to call Come Sit Stay our doggie family!
