They were great! They sent frequent texts, pics, and videos of our fur babies. The communication was excellent. They handled our diverse household of pets, including an African grey parrot, bunny, pig and cats. They spent a lot of time giving them each attention. Everything was so clean when we returned. They have a lot back up safety planning that really put me at ease (emergency vet care if needed, extra key, bad weather, etc.) They thought of everything so I didn't have to. I can't thank Debra and Emily enough. it was the first time we went away since our 14+ year old Golden Retriever (Emma)was diagnosed with kidney disease. her health has been declining and she doesn't eat well anymore. Debra came by every day to administer Emma's Sub Q fluids and to do a general check on her. Emily stayed overnight and took Emma, and our younger dog, Alvin, on daily walks, plus fed them and provided company. Debra and Emily literally checked in with us everyday and gave us updates on whether Emma was eating or not, what her energy level was, etc, and they worked with us to make adjustments to food and medications, in order to keep Emma happy and healthy. their support and care allowed us to go away with our family on vacation for 6 days and to know she was in good hands. I have worked with Deb Gallo when she was a veterinary assistant and have also used her pet sitting business for many years. Her work is exemplary in every way. She has prior experience in an animal hospital so that makes me more confident that an illness will be noticed, she is capable of administering medicine while I am away if need be, and most importantly she and her staff really love spending time with the animals. Deb and her staff are always courteous, I receive invoices before the pet sitting visits so there are never any hidden charges, and I get detailed reports on how my babies are doing while I am away. Debra's company stands out with their attention to detail, timely communication and comprehensive paperwork, so that when you leave your pets in their care you know they have all the information needed for any event. The personal visit prior to the service date where the sitter comes to your home to meet the pet(s) and see the layout was a wonderful opportunity to see the interaction between sitter and pet. Debra is warm and engaging and it is obvious that she not only loves animals but has a special sense about how to approach them. While away I received daily photos and notes about my kitties, as well as several wonderful videos, with a final one set to music! Debra was so amazing! I have two cats - one of which had a severe open wound on his neck and needed daily care while I left town for my wedding reception. Debra stopped by twice a day to give them love and care (which was especially helpful bc she is a LVT). She sent me pictures daily too! When I returned home the wound had healed and both cats were happy, confident and calm. They acted like I had only been gone for an hour. Usually when I leave, they act like Armageddon happened while I was gone! I can't recommend Debra and her team enough for any worried parents nervous about leaving their babies at home alone. read more

We've been using Furry People Pet Sitting for 9 or 10 years. We love them. They do daily walks with our pups and we count on them when we can't be with our dogs overnight.
