Established in 2007.
When business owner, Debra Gallo, retired from a 26 year career in professional Theatre, she wanted her next journey in life to involve her lifelong passion for animals. Debra became a vet assistant at her local animal hospital. During her 4 years at the hospital, she found that many clients had negative experiences with people that they had entrusted to care for their pets. Many pets were coming in to the hospital after family vacations because the sitters gave the pets the wrong medications, neglected to give medications or were wounded or exposed to illness from their stay at a kennel. During the course of assisting in the treatment of these pets, Debra heard over and over, "I can never go away again" from these pet parents. Debra thought that there should be a loving and compassionate care alternative available to the pet parents so they could travel worry free and know that their pet was in loving hands while they were away. Debra started FPPS to give them a better alternative.
Meet the Business Owner: Debra G.
Debra is the owner and principle pet sitter at FPPS. She has had a passion for animals since before she could talk and as a child, always had the desire to be surrounded by them. Her family, although not surprised that she ended up in theatre, always felt she should have been a veterinarian.
Following a serious illness, Debra decided it was time to follow that passion and changed careers. Debra founded her own pet services business with a mission to provide loving, compassionate care to the pets and peace of mind to the pet parents.
Debra is a pet parent to four cats: Gryphon, Trevor, Porsche and Willow. A dog; Timmy. A rabbit: Franklin, and two birds: Gimlet and Larry Bird.
