Debra's company stands out with their attention to detail, timely communication and comprehensive paperwork, so that when you leave your pets in their care you know they have all the information needed for any event. The personal visit prior to the service date where the sitter comes to your home to meet the pet(s) and see the layout was a wonderful opportunity to see the interaction between sitter and pet. Debra is warm and engaging and it is obvious that she not only loves animals but has a special sense about how to approach them. While away I received daily photos and notes about my kitties, as well as several wonderful videos, with a final one set to music! Furry Pet Sitters goes the extra mile, and with Debra's background in veterinary care, I felt my cats were in the best of care. I am so glad to have found this service and plan to use it again without hesitation. Thanks again Debra!

Becki is an amazing dog runner, and we're so happy to have found Adventures Unleashed for our…read morerambunctious but friendly black labrador. He started with Adventures Unleashed about 1.5 yr ago when he was still a puppy. Being a lab, he still "acts like" a puppy but looks like a big dog, and as we work long hours, we knew he needed lots of exercise and socialization with other dogs. He adores going out with Becki and the pack, and she has helped to ensure he continues to have good habits (like working with him on skills like responding to being called). It's important to me that an Adventures Unleashed pack run, in addition to being very active and social, usually lasts over a couple of hours, which really helps give our goofball of a dog lots of time to expend his excess energy. He's happier, and we are thrilled! One additional thing -- Becki at Adventures Unleashed really cares about the dogs that do Adventures Unleashed. I've seen her go the extra mile (so to speak) for our dog and other dogs in her care many times, and she always finds a way to help out the dogs and their owners when they are in need of her assistance. Adventures Unleashed also offers first-class house-sitting with your animals, and we've used this service when we've gone away for several days to a week. I almost feel guilty coming back because I know how much true FUN our dog has had while we are gone. We can't say enough good things!

Unlike in years past with other kennels, she comes home from her stays at Gracelane full of happy energy. Now that she is a senior dog and has been dealing with more mobility issues as the years progress, I've depended on the special care that Gracelane gives her. They're responsive to any questions or concerns I have when she is there, and if they ever have questions about medications, etc, they reach out immediately. I know from her behavior when she gets home that she is treated very well when in their care. For a senior dog to jump out of my car when I arrive to drop her off and drag me to the front door to sign her in, I know for sure that I am making the right choice with her care. She is always excited to see the women in the front office the moment she arrives.

Our vet recommended Yorktown. We know both of the vets who own the practice, Dr. K and Dr. Raclyn, from when they were our vets here in NYC. Fletcher was boarded in an indoor-outdoor separate kennel, which was exactly what we wanted. Many of New York City boarding facilities have "pack boarding", where all of the dogs are together. Fletcher isn't a social dog. There were daily emails with pictures. Fletcher was very unhappy and lost weight. But he has extreme separation anxiety and this was a new place for him after years at Rye Country. I didn't worry about him at all. We'll definitely use them again.
