Our vet recommended Yorktown. We know both of the vets who own the practice, Dr. K and Dr. Raclyn, from when they were our vets here in NYC. Fletcher was boarded in an indoor-outdoor separate kennel, which was exactly what we wanted. Many of New York City boarding facilities have "pack boarding", where all of the dogs are together. Fletcher isn't a social dog. There were daily emails with pictures. Fletcher was very unhappy and lost weight. But he has extreme separation anxiety and this was a new place for him after years at Rye Country. I didn't worry about him at all. We'll definitely use them again.
