We had an amazing guide who was fun, engaging a knowledgeable about local wildlife and vegetation. After a vigorous but doable 1.5 mile hike we descended thru the canyons. We completed 3 or 4 smaller obstacles that required some roping / tethering then then culminated in the final rappel descent which is exhilarating for newbies to this sport. 100 pct highly recommend.

This trip was fantastic! We hiked in from the Sand Flats area and then rappelled into the medieval chamber and then between the arch and the canyon wall. Really breathtaking even if you've done some climbing before. Scenery is fantastic. Eric is a by the book safety climber so you're in great hands. His knowledge of the local area and geology is excellent. I will definitely do another trip with him next time I'm in Moab!

We did the full day towers (?) rafting experience…read more The drive to the drop off spot was beautiful, the guides were informative and skilled, the float down the river was not high adventure (we went early July) but the guides kept it so fun for our kids. Lunch was easy - they set up super quick - caesar salad wraps, waters/juices, chips, chicken salad, and Oreos. Some of my favorite parts was the fact that ALL the guides and bus driver were all young women. I loved that my kids saw these women do all the heavy lifting (literally and figuratively) and think it sets an awesome example to my son and young daughter. A few days later as we drove out of Moab, we drove down the same 10-15 miles of road we took on the bus. I didn't realize how much my kids had absorbed during the bus ride, but they rattled off all the facts, stories and sites that the guide had shared on our way to rafting.

Moab was at the tail-end of our trip and we had just gone through a pretty taxing rental car issue when we arrived.. so needless to say we were seeking an escape. The town was really lovely, and we were looking forward to meeting with MDA for a climb up Looking Glass. We were introduced to Larry, the manager of operations and an accomplished adventure guide for the company. Larry was just a fantastic guy all around.. polite, funny, he kept us engaged through the whole experience, and even acted as tour guide for us so we could get a good sense of what Moab had to offer. Looking Glass itself was a phenomenal experience. I'm a first-time climber and my friend had some experience under her belt, but we are both in good shape and Larry briefed us on exactly what the demands were for the climb and what we were to expect. After a crash course in harnessing, belaying, and the ensuing climb, it didn't take us more than an hour to summit. Larry was a gem, helped us gather some great photos, and even took us along the scenic route back to show us different sites along the way. The experience was precisely what we were looking for, we wouldn't hesitate to book another tour with Larry again.

Bouldering, top roping and lead climbing routes are all available here. There's also a fitness area upstairs. The locker room has a shower and lockers for storing valuables (cubbies are found next to the main climbing area). There's even a small store where you can purchase climbing gear. Pretty much you can find all the amenities you'd expect at a typical climbing gym. One big thing for me is the ventilation. Some gyms are horrible at it and you are pretty much breathing in a ton of chalk and dust while climbing. However, this gym seems to do a great job at ventilating the place! Then on second thought, I haven't been here on a busy day so I'm not the best judge of that. There are student, military and family discounts on the monthly passes so that's something to consider if you are thinking about signing up. The $16 daily pass is pretty pricey, but there's currently a deal for $8 passes on Wednesdays after 5pm. I think it is great that there's an indoor climbing gym in Grand Junction! Super friendly staff and chill vibes here. The only con is the pricing. It's quite expensive for a small gym... I'm from Seattle where indoor rock climbing was born so you can imagine the gyms there can be pretty big. That said, this gym is relatively small but the pricing is comparable to a much larger gym. Another thing to take into account is the cost of living in Grand Junction, which is much less than Seattle, so lowering the price can potentially bring in a lot more customers.

The trip is stunning and adrenaline filled. The last rappel was the ultimate rush and we couldn't believe when we looked back up from the bottom. The rappels were the adrenaline highlight but the hiking on top of the canyon was also stunning. Highly recommend this adventure and perfect for brave kids.

We were a family of 6 ranging in age from 5 to 60+, and every single one of us had an absolute blast. The experience was equal parts thrilling, scenic, and just plain fun. Even our youngest handled it like a champ, and the views along the trail were incredible. One of us started out completely petrified (like, *white-knuckle, questioning life choices* level ), but our guide Chad was amazing. He was calm, reassuring, and clearly very experienced--he put us at ease quickly and turned fear into excitement by the end. If you're in Moab and even *thinking* about doing Hell's Revenge--DO IT.
