My visits were 2 years apart and I needed the exact same Venetian plaster I purchased the first time I had a hard time finding it so naturally I wish they had more staff but everyone can't be a quality employee at this place so I def rather a few subject matter experts as opposed to 100 ex-Home Depot employees. Anyway I went to the counter to pull up a 2 year old purchase and they found my purchase and made it for me again (it was custom) I also needed a protectant for it and one of the guys pointed me to the aisle and shared with me the difference between each and which one was best for my project.

Stewart, an incredibly kind & knowledgeable man helped us. He was quick to give us information to fully inform our purchases. We need screws to assemble a couple of cedar fence panels and he let us know that we'd need stainless steel screws because other metals react with the tannins in cedar and can leave black "drip" marks under the screws over time. Little things like that mean A LOT to me. The store itself is brightly lit, very clean and very well stocked for any project you might be doing. I came to Building Depot on a weeknight around 6:37 and I wasn't sure if it was closed or not since the entrance was dimmed but there were two men by the door. When I asked, one of them said that it was, but asked what I was looking for. I showed him my two fixtures (an air plant holder and a floating cube), and I said I just wanted nails that fit the holes in the back. He hesitated for a second and then let me in. He initially said he only sold nails in 1 lb quantities, which I was fine with because I have a lot of stuff to hang, but then he asked if my wall was drywall. Huh? He explained that if my wall was drywall, I would need screws with an anchor to keep my nails stable. He showed me a pack that included nails, anchors, and a drill bit, which was perfect because I would've had a hard time matching the screws to the right drill bit. The total was less than $8 for a pack of 100 and now I have more than enough for any basic home improvement wall projects. It was super nice of him to help me out after hours - the main register was already closed, too. I really appreciated the time he took to make sure I was getting the right product for my project and explain everything to me even though it was late. Will definitely be back.

He introduced himself and after I told him what I'm looking for ( three compartment sink ) he brought me over to show me what he had in stock ........ I did my homework & all the research on sizes & prices so it was very easy for me to decide; Normally I buy all my Stanless direct form a Brooklyn manufacturer however I bought a sink from them last year & I really was not impressed with their over all quality ..... Joe agreed and told me that's why he caries sapphire Name brand sinks the quality is much better & I have to agree .... We bought the sink $ 500.00 58''x 24'' with 18''X 18''X 14'' Compartments with drain baskets included ... ( FYI, I will post a picture after the sink is installed) Love a place where they are not pushy and arrogant & really look to help you....
