On May 16th, I had a move in which the couch damaged my wall. Per the contract, and according to the specialist, Erica, I was told they would have a painter repair this. There has been no proactive calls or emails to help with this. I have been the one calling every day, leaving voicemails, emailing but there has been no movement on this request. Broken funiture (2 beds and tv stand), damaged walls (huge holes in walls from the movers not paying attention) and missing items. I attempted to reach the company on several occasions only to be advised every time I called. ohhh, you have to speak with the owner .. you have to wait for the owner to reach out to you....WHERE IS THE OWNER?? WHO IS THE OWNER??? YOU STOLE MY BELONGINGS AND MONEY AND DAMAGED MY PROPERTY! Went online to locate the company. They were no longer able to be found. This was also verified by consumer affairs. Scheduling the move went great. I did have to change my time and they were very accommodating. The day of the move arrived and the crew was late. When I called I was told by the dispatcher that they may have been delayed. They arrived 1hr after their window time and once arrived the move went smooth. The driver ended up going a different way but they did take off for the time. That evening we plugged the TV in and the living room TV screen was cracked. I sent a email with pictures of the damage and contacted the company. The dispatcher stated she would speak with the crew and get back with me. That was Aug.1st and I have not heard back from anyone phone or email. This was a move to get my MIL from Pickens, SC to Charlotte, NC (3 hrs apart) to be closer to where we live. It was also a somewhat convoluted move, since she wasn't taking everything from her house to her new apartment (planning to have a sale for everything that she doesn't need anymore & get the house ready for sale). But the movers were courteous, quick, & willing to follow the system we had set up for the things that were being moved. They were also flexible to the changes that we needed last-minute. Also, Laura (in the office) was great with communication. She would always answer our questions quickly, & when there was a snafu in the email system (we didn't get the initial quote that was sent), she immediately took care of it, even after hours. All of this for a very reasonable price which included the laborers, a truck, moving blankets, dollies, plastic wrap & more. They did such a good job that when my husband & I have to move (at the end of next month), we'll be calling on them again. I definitely recommend Advantage Moving & Storage. read more

The movers showed up an hour late. Then they were unable to fit all items of my two bedroom apartment on the truck they had. They offered me a 5% discount. The woman I spoke with on the phone had an attitude and blamed it on my stuff. There was no kitchen table, and no bedroom suit in my second bedroom. There's no reason it shouldn't have fit on a truck. The movers placed most of my boxed items between my living room and kitchen, so I had to move them myself into the respective rooms. They said they'd come back the next day to get the rest of my stuff (that I would have to pay extra for) and they never called and didn't answer. Worst experience ever. Completely unprofessional!!! Go elsewhere! What a horrible experience. They damages walls (my new home and old home) won't return phone calls and places undue pressure on customers. They overcharged including paying for workers breaks and for the getting gas. Not a great value at all! read more

They quoted me 120/hr then charged me 480 for a hour the guys did a good job just didn't appreciate the over priced rate
