Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I just want to give a handclap for this company! The movers were amazing. I moved from Charlotte to Texas and I want to acknowledge how professional these gentlemen were. They were on time, attentive, friendly and most importantly awesome workers. I appreciated the way they loaded and unloaded my belongings from origin to destination, which were storage units. There was no damage and it was loaded very neatly! They wrapped some of my belongings that were not wrapped properly from the previous moving company. They communicated well with keeping me informed about my belongings arriving. I would give them 10 if I could. After 11 days on the road from Oakland CA, I was looking forward to a smooth PODs delivery and unloading. The POD couldn't be delivered as there wasn't enough clearance, so TBC to the rescue. On almost no notice, they met me at the PODs facility, unloaded the POD, drove to my apt and delivered everything quickly and professionally. But there's more. A few small but meaningful-to-me things were missing. Kaseem Alexander found them in the blankets afterward and made two separate trips to deliver them to me. No words for how grateful I am. Run as far and as fast as possible. They damaged my door, totally wrecked the loading process, their movers showed up acting like they were high, moved very slowly, and the foreman was totally rude and disrespectful. When I complained to the company, they were then rude and disrespectful trying to blame us for not scheduling enough time. Note: More time can be scheduled as needed throughout the day. We are not professional movers - they are supposed to be. We do not know how long it should take professional movers to do this. Additionally, one of the movers brought his small child to the move with him. This is not safe. At the end, the company held us up for more money after they caused it to go longer. They would not rectify the situation until we paid them another $100. They will not take responsibility for their mess and they WILL make a mess. I'm attaching pictures of how the truck looked when we tried to unload. It too my professional movers ALL DAY to sort out the mess they made. And now, Kendra wants to lie about what happened. Again, you see, she is blaming the customer. I am not a professional mover and they are supposed to be. Now, she is playing the race game. I won't play that. These guys acted like they toked up. Now, I see she is giving her own company reviews to try to bury my review. Won't work. I will make sure everyone knows. read more

Moving is hard. Finding movers with decent reviews is even harder. I hired two guys from TBC to help me load a POD, and I couldn't be happier. Both guys worked hard the entire 3 hours- as it was an hourly rate, many others will try to work slowly to get the extra hour. They went above and beyond my expectations- wrapping the big stuff with their own wrap, using cardboard to protect things and working like Tetris to fit everything in. They even rearranged their schedule to move me in before some bad weather hit. Highly recommend them. read more

They were polite and very professional. They did a fabulous job even though we were very unorganized and our initial packing was poor. I can't say enough good things about TBC Movers! They responded quickly to my initial quote request, and all follow up questions. I hired a crew of three movers to load an obscene amount of stuff into my parents' Uhaul truck, and they arrived promptly & ready to work. It ended up taking twice the amount of time that I estimated, but they never complained and worked until the job was finished. (Which is completely on me as there ended up being way more stuff than I had anticipated.) They were professional, friendly, and packed everything with great care. A 16ft box truck that I had loaded myself (aka not professionally) in the Boston area, a 90 degree Sunday in NC, and a 3rd floor walk up apartment - recipe for disaster? I think not!! But only because TBC movers is the best!! My two requested moving workers arrived on time (on Father's Day no less!) and with smiles on their faces. Friendly, strong, hardworking, courteous and professional. They unloaded all my stuff all the way up in less than two hours (1.5hrs) - I am amazed. I recently moved across country using PODS and sustained damages to several furniture pieces. TBC did the packing. Upon delivery of furniture there were several nicks and rubs noted. There was even chunks of wood missing from my dresser. Although everything was wrapped obviously not well enough. I first complained to PODS and they stated during transit things shift and if not properly wrapped and tied down then there could be damages. They shifted the blame to TBC. I then spoke to TBC and they shifted the blame back to PODS. Although both parties are insured neither will accept the claim. And this why you should use one provider as they cannot shift the blame. I will continue my pursuit with BBB and potentially legal as well. read more
