I planned my two weeks in advance since I had a lot of moving parts going on and wanted to make sure I could at least check something off my list. From the time I requested a quote to my initial inventory list of what needed to be moved, the Move and Go team were responsive and clear on what to expect. I received a confirmation email days leading up to my move and the day before. I also received a call from Antwuan to ask if my scheduled time could be moved back a little the day before, which I was totally fine with because it was enough notice. Kudos to them on communication. On the day of the move, I received a call within the agreed time frame and the three gentlemen arrived to see the layout, go over what would be moved and allow me to sign the necessary docs electronically (all within 20-30 mins). I was originally quoted to have 4 movers but only had 3 so the final hourly rate was adjusted down automatically (yay! for savings). We had just moved across the country and immediately needed storage to free up space in our temporary housing but it was more than we could do on our own. The first place I tried couldn't be here for 10 days so I called Move and Go because they had the best reviews. They charged hundreds less and were available in less than half the time. Oshane and Cameron showed up and were on time, professional, friendly, and competent. They were plenty fast yet at a calculated pace that protected our belongings. They never stopped working and never complained once. I asked them to help me move a couple of things that weren't even a part of this move and they didn't blink - they just said, "sure" and a couple of minutes later it was done. These guys are 10 out of 10. Well be moving out of temporary housing before long and they did such a superb job we'll definitely call Move and Go again. Moving is always tough. I booked Move and go to help me move my 1 bedroom apartment to a townhome. I reserved a 1 o'clock spot on Saturday 1 month in advance. What I didn't know was they booked 2 more moves beforehand, so they showed up to start 4.5 hours late, at 6pm while there's an FC game happening in uptown (would not recommend & why I didnt schedule it at that time). They called me to apologize but promised a 3rd mover would be coming to expedite the process. Which meant we would finish faster, awesome. They arrived with only 2 movers, a 3rd mover didn't show up until around 9:30 pm when we started unloading at the new place. During the move, my desk was broken and put a hole in the wall with my couch. They didn't finish moving until 11:30 PM. So $735 dollars later with a discount (not including $$$ tip), none of my furniture was re-assembled at my new home, my desk is broken and I spent the next day assembling & filing a claim for the hole that's now in my wall. It's not these guys faults they were late, there shouldn't have been 3 moves scheduled in 1 Saturday and they never would've arrived 4.5 hours late. I felt horrible these guys were moving me until almost midnight on a Saturday. It's been a month since filming my claim, I haven't heard anything back. So I hope I can get reimbursed to buy a new desk and the hole in the wall fixed, but so far it's still there. read more

Worst moving experience I have ever had. 1 BR, 1 BTH apartment. No living room furniture, no bedroom furniture, only a bed and night stand. Bed was disassembled as well as kitchen table. Moved my husband's clothes but none of mine. They did not move all fully packed and sealed boxes either. We still had to go move items. During the move of our washer and dryer they ripped the flooring. Movers did not mention that they caused any damage. I found out because my daughter went by there to take them a Gatorade. She saw the damage and sent me the pictures. After all that, my bill was nearly $600! This much for no more stuff than they moved and we still had to go back ad move more ourselves. The moving company sent on day of move (2) movers instead of the (3) promised, immediately the driver, Terrell, wanted me to sign off, on the time, which was before the scheduled time and without all movers present. He was very rude, when informing me that the maximum estimate I received, that was based on 6 hrs and 45 mins, was not valid. He was on his phone, not working, as my time had begun and when I said to his , "time is money, and you're wasting mine." He became unhinged and said, he would not move me. Getting another mover, was not hard to do, as there was no where for me to go, at that point, but up! Do not use these people! I booked a move a month in advance. The movers were supposed to come between 1 and 3. At 2:00, they called, and cancelled. I asked if they could come the next day, which was Sunday. The guy said that they were closed, but he would check and call me back. I called the main number to see if I could speak with someone higher in the food chain. The same guy answered, and was belligerent that I had called, because "stuff happens."
