As I researched moving companies to assist us after 26 years in our home, Reign kept coming up as a great choice. I spoke with their scheduler and felt assured that Reign would be the one we would use, even though they seemed to be a bit more expensive. A few weeks before we knew our moving date, we did a Face Time walk through of the old home to get an idea of what the cost would likely be. The date and time were set, the morning arrived and Reign was right on schedule. The guys worked hard, took their time to wrap furniture, appreciated the lunch we bought for them, and left for the new house where I met them. Some things were stacked (wardrobe boxes on top of each other), a few boxes were in the wrong room, the garage was left in disarray, a fern stand had fallen over and had a broken base, and the treadmill was not reassembled. Reign had made arrangements to have two follow-up movers come when the first "shift" ended, so these two young men unstacked the stacked boxes, arranged the garage, went back with us to the old house and checked to see that everything was delivered, moved a few leftover items that we missed, put the fern stand in the truck, and tried to reassemble the treadmill. When they could not, they asked us to call Jason, the owner. Jason immediately dispatched another employee who also could not reassemble the treadmill. Not to be outdone, Jason called us and said that he was sending another employee who would arrive first thing the next morning to fix the treadmill. Two young men arrived about 8:30 and had the treadmill together in a few minutes. Of course, that is not the end of the story because moving is never a one-day event--and ours began to unfold with some items that needed to be addressed. The movers had "dinged" a few spots in the old house, which took about a week to repair because Jason uses a man whom he trusts to do a good job, and this man was not available right away. When it was finally completed, the repair was flawless. Then we noticed a dining room piece was damaged, so we sent a picture to Jason who came to inspect and assure us that it would be fixed. While he was with us, he noticed a small scratch on the floor in the dining room, so he helped my husband put felt pads under the table legs and on each chair leg. This was above and beyond anything we had experienced in the past. Again, we had to wait to get the dining room server repaired because Jason uses a furniture repairman who does a remarkable job in repairing damaged wood. He even stabilized the piece while he had it. I might not have been happy waiting, but I was delighted with the finished product. After a few days in the new house, I reached for a file in our filing cabinet and discovered it was in bad shape from the move. When I called Jason, he said not to worry; he was coming to our house to help. This is where his customer service will astound you if you have ever dealt with moving companies who just give you a check and make you sign a document that releases them from further responsibility. Instead of attempting to fix the filing cabinet, he suggested just purchasing another to replace it that would be similar cost. He and I picked out one that seemed identical, his warehouse team came to our house and assembled the new one, realized it would not work so they called Jason who told me to order whatever I wanted. It took two tries to get what I wanted, but Jason never hesitated to find what would make me happy. His company should be your choice for any move. read more

At the time of my previous review, law enforcement was in the early stages of investigating the theft that took place during our move. Now that time has passed and we have learned more information, we have even more remorse for hiring this company. We have become aware of two other families who also experienced the theft of nearly identical items during their moves with Reign. We never received reimbursement for any of the lost, broken, or stolen items from our move and will end up having to take legal action for this. There were many logistical things this company did very well - they were organized in the planning of the move, very timely and efficient, and careful with (most) of the furniture. However, they were dishonest. While what happened in our move may be a reflection of one employee versus the whole company I reported it to the owner, Jason, right away, and he continued to let other customers be stolen from for several more months before putting the employees on leave. Trusting them in my home will forever be one of my biggest regrets. read more

This was our first time using a moving company so we were very intentional with who we chose as we didn't want anything to go missing or broken. We did a ton of research and decided on Reign as it was more expensive than other options so we figured would be higher quality. They also had all 5 star reviews so we figured it would be the best. We are now wondering why this is. They are definitely more expensive. They charge more per hour and they also charge a $350 'truck fee' that no one else charges from quotes we got. We were charged over $1700 for 5 hours. What we liked- - It was easy to schedule and they had our date available a few weeks out. They offered to set up a FaceTime to look at our items and make sure they sent out the appropriate number of trucks. - They gave us an hour window of when they would show up, and an update the morning of so we knew when to expect them. - They were nice and made sure they knew exactly what we wanted. We did one last walk through of the old place before we left. They made sure we were happy before they left the new place. We had 3 movers who were kind and seemed trustworthy. - They listened to the writing on the boxes of where to put the boxes in the new house and if it didn't have writing, they put it in the equivalent room in the new house of where they found it in the old house. - They were careful with our things and were able to unassemble and reassemble our pieces. They also wrapped up the furniture items with blankets to preserve them. - They worked quick and efficiently Why we aren't giving them 5 stars: - they stopped at the gas station between the old house and new house and arrived at the new house 30 minutes after us when we were right behind them the whole way up until the gas station. They did ask us if they could stop to get snacks but I didn't realize it would take this long and they did not deduct this from the time they billed us for. - They asked us if we wanted mattress bags for $15 each. I said yes as I figured this would be something we could keep and save for future moves. They did not leave us the bags. So we paid $30 to basically 'rent' 2 bags which I feel we should have been able to keep or not be charged for. Next time I will buy the $15 ones off Amazon that I can keep. - They took a shelf out of our entertainment stand. In the move the nails/pegs fell out. These are specialty nails to hold the shelf in. Now we are unable to use the shelf, and the piece sags without the shelf in. We have since gotten rid of it and gotten a new one. - The top of our desk will not fit properly on when this was never previously an issue and we ultimately can't fix it and will need to get a new one. - They were about to leave and I noticed something was missing so I asked about it and they had to go back on the truck to get it. If I didn't ask, they would've left with it still in the truck. - They did not deliver 2 small decorative pieces of ours that were the last items on the truck- not packed in a box. Which not a huge deal but I noticed shortly after they left, contacted the company, and they were not able to find them. We are completely unpacked and I know these things are not at either of our houses. ** which they did reimburse us for these things which we are thankful for!! Also customer service was very helpful at first when we were trying to find these items and discuss reimbursement, but then it was pretty hard to get ahold of them to confirm our reimbursement agreement and get them paid. It felt like I was tracking them down just to get our reimbursement approved and get them paid. We will likely use a different company next time we move. read more

Based on previous reviews and a recommendation from a neighbor we used Reign Moving Solutions to move us from NC to SC. They picked our belongings up at the end of March and delivered them to our new home mid April. My daughters bedroom set was destroyed, our hallway bench was broken, a console table scratched up, our marble pedestal broken in several places, and a statue that has been in our family for generations was "lost." The pedestal was fixed, we received a refund for the furniture and money towards replacement of an unreplaceable family heirloom. We have asked Jason to keep on the look out for the statue and to advise if ever found. To say we are beyond disappointed with Reign Moving is an understatement. If you do use this company and have anything of value, we highly suggest taking it with you. (I would have, but injuries prevented me from doing so.) read more

Just had a wonderful moving experience with Reign Moving Solutions in Charlotte. The owner, Jason, went out of his way to address any and all concerns we had, and to ensure we were happy with his team from start to finish. The crew were all friendly and professional, and respectful with our home (s) and belongings. They arrived on time and hustled to get the job done in a timely manner. Friday 7/22 I was left hanging by my mover who didn't show up. My house was sold and I had to be out. I called Jason the owner and he was amazing! He had someone out to prep that evening and had a crew out at 9:00 am Saturday to take care of me. You won't find that that level of service with anyone else. I am definitely a repeat customer! read more

Best movers we have ever had, period! The energy the team brings is great to see. It's hard work but Jason's team took it in their stride and all the guys worked in an orchestrated manner taking due care during the handling. Our move was local and executed on the same day. As things can go wrong, the guys unfortunately had a small mishap moving our heavy sofa into our new home and accidently scratched the hardwood floor even though they were really careful using blankets and communicating effectively between team members. However, Jason took full responsibility of this and organized a professional repair without any hesitation. This truly demonstrates their professionalism and ownership in running the business. From a customer experience perspective, Jason created an exceptional experience. This is how it should be done and this is the type of businesses that should be supported and recognized. Kudo's to the entire team and I highly recommend considering Reign for moving your belongings! read more

Reign Moving Solutions just moved my husband and I from Charlotte, NC to Tampa Bay, FL and they were absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! From my initial conversation with Jason, the owner, to packing up our home, to when he delivered all our belongings to our destination, Jason was professional, knowledgeable and made me feel confident he would take care of everything we owned. Additionally, Jason was hands on with our move from beginning to end. He did not outsource the move. Jason was in Charlotte to pack us up and drove the moving truck to Tampa Bay. It was very reassuring to see the same person move and deliver our "entire life". And the cherry on top, Reign was the best priced movers I received a quote from. If you want a moving company who truly cares for your belongings and know exactly what they're doing, hire Reign Moving Solutions!!! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. read more

We are so happy we chose Reign! They did multiple walk throughs with us on FaceTime to ensure we had the right space and to answer our multitude of questions. On packing day, they were professional and took great care of our items. Nothing was scratched or broken! We weren't sure what time we would be at our new house (driving from Chicago) and if they would be able to unload us that same day. But we kept in contact and they made it work! We got to our new house at 3 pm and they were unloading by 3:30. Thanks again Jason and team! read more

We hired Jason and his team for our move from a 2nd floor apartment to our townhome in Davidson. There were lots of flights up and down for them, but they never slowed down. They were a well oiled machine. Jason was sure to point out any existing damage so that I was aware that his team didn't do the minor damage or mark. We did most of our own packing and they packed up our kitchen. There was only one damaged item (lamp) that he paid for and one other minor incident that Jason made more than right and I really appreciate how he handled it. He was very communicative leading up to the move as well as the move day. Hi highly recommend them...he's got a good team! read more

Loved our move to Arizona from Washington state with these guys! What an amazing team - really blew it out of the park!!! We were skeptical about all moving companies until we met Jason, the owner. You can tell right away he cares for him business and chooses his employees the same way. He is honest, straight forward, and is highly communicative which is what you want when your moving. Same guys packed us up and moved us in, highly polite, professional and felt like they were more like friends at the end of our move. I really would never go with another moving company again - if your looking to do a move, go with these guys - you won't be disappointed. No broken items, no issues at all - no third party contractors - this is the real deal. Sad to see them go but happy to be moved! read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about these guys. They are organized, on time, courteous and careful with your stuff. They wrapped all my furniture carefully and took note of all my FRAGILE boxes!! And then during the move I mentioned I was looking for a specific box of items and they made it a point to look out for it! I love them and Highly recommended them!
