This was our first time using a moving company so we were very intentional with who we chose as we didn't want anything to go missing or broken. We did a ton of research and decided on Reign as it was more expensive than other options so we figured would be higher quality. They also had all 5 star reviews so we figured it would be the best. We are now wondering why this is. They are definitely more expensive. They charge more per hour and they also charge a $350 'truck fee' that no one else charges from quotes we got. We were charged over $1700 for 5 hours. What we liked- - It was easy to schedule and they had our date available a few weeks out. They offered to set up a FaceTime to look at our items and make sure they sent out the appropriate number of trucks. - They gave us an hour window of when they would show up, and an update the morning of so we knew when to expect them. - They were nice and made sure they knew exactly what we wanted. We did one last walk through of the old place before we left. They made sure we were happy before they left the new place. We had 3 movers who were kind and seemed trustworthy. - They listened to the writing on the boxes of where to put the boxes in the new house and if it didn't have writing, they put it in the equivalent room in the new house of where they found it in the old house. - They were careful with our things and were able to unassemble and reassemble our pieces. They also wrapped up the furniture items with blankets to preserve them. - They worked quick and efficiently Why we aren't giving them 5 stars: - they stopped at the gas station between the old house and new house and arrived at the new house 30 minutes after us when we were right behind them the whole way up until the gas station. They did ask us if they could stop to get snacks but I didn't realize it would take this long and they did not deduct this from the time they billed us for. - They asked us if we wanted mattress bags for $15 each. I said yes as I figured this would be something we could keep and save for future moves. They did not leave us the bags. So we paid $30 to basically 'rent' 2 bags which I feel we should have been able to keep or not be charged for. Next time I will buy the $15 ones off Amazon that I can keep. - They took a shelf out of our entertainment stand. In the move the nails/pegs fell out. These are specialty nails to hold the shelf in. Now we are unable to use the shelf, and the piece sags without the shelf in. We have since gotten rid of it and gotten a new one. - The top of our desk will not fit properly on when this was never previously an issue and we ultimately can't fix it and will need to get a new one. - They were about to leave and I noticed something was missing so I asked about it and they had to go back on the truck to get it. If I didn't ask, they would've left with it still in the truck. - They did not deliver 2 small decorative pieces of ours that were the last items on the truck- not packed in a box. Which not a huge deal but I noticed shortly after they left, contacted the company, and they were not able to find them. We are completely unpacked and I know these things are not at either of our houses. ** which they did reimburse us for these things which we are thankful for!! Also customer service was very helpful at first when we were trying to find these items and discuss reimbursement, but then it was pretty hard to get ahold of them to confirm our reimbursement agreement and get them paid. It felt like I was tracking them down just to get our reimbursement approved and get them paid. We will likely use a different company next time we move. read more

Based on previous reviews and a recommendation from a neighbor we used Reign Moving Solutions to move us from NC to SC. They picked our belongings up at the end of March and delivered them to our new home mid April. My daughters bedroom set was destroyed, our hallway bench was broken, a console table scratched up, our marble pedestal broken in several places, and a statue that has been in our family for generations was "lost." The pedestal was fixed, we received a refund for the furniture and money towards replacement of an unreplaceable family heirloom. We have asked Jason to keep on the look out for the statue and to advise if ever found. To say we are beyond disappointed with Reign Moving is an understatement. Best movers we have ever had, period! The energy the team brings is great to see. It's hard work but Jason's team took it in their stride and all the guys worked in an orchestrated manner taking due care during the handling. Our move was local and executed on the same day. As things can go wrong, the guys unfortunately had a small mishap moving our heavy sofa into our new home and accidently scratched the hardwood floor even though they were really careful using blankets and communicating effectively between team members. However, Jason took full responsibility of this and organized a professional repair without any hesitation. This truly demonstrates their professionalism and ownership in running the business. We hired Jason and his team for our move from a 2nd floor apartment to our townhome in Davidson. There were lots of flights up and down for them, but they never slowed down. They were a well oiled machine. Jason was sure to point out any existing damage so that I was aware that his team didn't do the minor damage or mark. We did most of our own packing and they packed up our kitchen. There was only one damaged item (lamp) that he paid for and one other minor incident that Jason made more than right and I really appreciate how he handled it. I can't say enough wonderful things about these guys. They are organized, on time, courteous and careful with your stuff. They called me day before to go over the plan and ask a few questions and when I said I didn't have a mattress cover, they brought one with them(only$20!). They wrapped all my furniture carefully and took note of all my FRAGILE boxes!!
