Wow I honestly couldn't say more good things about this laundromat! It stays open until 930 I believe so that's a bit inconvenient you have to get your clothes in before that so that you can get it done before it closes at 10 or 11pm. The workers here were so friendly the second we walked in the door he was trying to help us out all the way around. There is so many washers and dryers for you to do your clothes all at once even if there's quite a few people there you're gonna be able to do your laundry.. The washing prices start around $4.50 to like $6 or $7 dollars . Drying however $.25 per five minutes. My clothes are so well cleaned the washers and dryers work very very well and they make your clothes smell very good if you add the right amount of soap! This place is amazing thank you so much! The machines it takes a day to get used to but once you got used to it you're good to go! I would definitely recommend this place 1000 times over! It's fine. Usually an employee is there. No A/C, one pinball machine, a few gumball-type machines. Liquor store and taqueria next door, nail salon across the way. Three benches to sit on. A bathroom. Soap machines, ATMs, change machines. No telling if any will work at any given moment. Machines are Speed Queens, but a little iffy... the last one's handle wouldn't unlock once our load was finished. Employee on duty just started banging it with a hammer until it opened. (Loads between $4.25 and $5 depending on selections.) Dryers all have burned rubber on the insides, but the Hot setting is super hot, dries clothes in minutes! (25¢ per 4 minutes; can dry a load of towels on Hot for $1.25.) read more

I've been to this laundromat a few times now over the span of a couple years. Each time I go back, they have a new upgrade or improvement. They recently renovated or replaced a ton of the washing machines and they also placed individual touch screen card readers at EVERY washing and drying machine making it easy to do all your selections at the machine rather than having to go to one of 2 communal touch screens with your machine number which was always a hassle. The way they charge on bank statements end up having several $10 placeholder pending transactions and then they work themselves out when the charges post. Unless you keep track of every single transaction, write them down, and compare later, its hard to know if youre getting charged the correct amount or being over charged.. Also parking can be tough as its a pretty small, shared lot with other businesses. Lastly, there isnt enough seating. There are only 2 benches so you'll have to stand around while you wait. Always a clean location though that only seems to be improving. read more

If I could not give a star I would. Beyond disappointed to this laundromat in which my wife and I have always loved to come here. Only to find out that when we took our clothes from the washer machine they were soaking wet. 3 of our machines had this issue. This is unacceptable and not a "too much soap " issue when it was dripping water. The lady in charge very nice to try and help, but the manager had no mercy in trying to pay for the inconvenience. They had expected me to dry my wet soaking clothes in the drier and spend more money on something that the washer was supposed to do, squeeze all that water out. I expect my refund in this. they screwed me out of 1750. A customer was nice enough to resolve the situation by giving me 20 , and then the owner herself accused me of stealing because the customer gave me $20 when they could not replenish the 1750 that they owed me and the machine only spit out 250 out of the 20 I put in. then proceeded to tell me that she can come in on Tuesday or Thursday. I literally came in at 715 with the smallest load of laundry and the attendant tells me we close at 8. Literally as shes telling me this theres another person loading quarters into their BIGGEST machine which would probably take twice as long as the small one i would be using. Ive held off on writing reviews for this place because it's hit or miss sometimes it's great and others not so great. Well that changed yesterday I came in to do my laundry I was loading my clothes into various machines and a guy comes in and decides he's going to use the machine I was in the process of loading I had just put my unstoppable beads in the machine when he came up and was about to place his clothes in I politely got his attention and explained that I was loading the machine, he stated he wanted to use the machine and I again explained that I was already using the machine he would have to use another or wait until I was complete. The place wasn't packed it was a Sunday afternoon so plenty of other machines. As I'm loading the machine he comes back over to me to demand that I hurry up he would like ti use the machine. This is where everything gets bizarre , I catch the eye of the attendant she smiles and looks away. By this time the guy is starting to yell at me about him wanting the machine. I told him that the place is a public space first come first serve and that's that I got there first now leave me alone, he went on and on becoming more and more aggressive I signal the attendant she goes in the office and closes the door. I end up calling the police on the guy , they came he agreed to leave me alone and we cont with our laundry, he cont to torment me the entire time i had to put my headphones in order to tune him out. I didn't get to finish my laundry I decided to comeback today and complete. I'm here and my machines are loaded but the card I purchased says zero balance. So I call the number on the card and went through the prompts to speak to the admin staff. A woman answers the phone and before I can say anything she says hurry up, so I tell her my problem and she tells me that she is driving and can't do anything. I decided to cut my losses and I empty my machines and put everything back in my vehicle in the process I was looking for someone else to contact I found the owners name but no contact info. So not only did I not get to finish my laundry but tomorrow is my Birthday and I was taking a trip tonight, but I'm out 40$ that I out on the card the time etc. I will never come back to this place. I didn't even mention the attendant removed my clothes from a machine and lied and told me the machine was broke but someone else's stuff was in the machine and she put my stuff in the office and didn't inform me until it was too late for me to dry my clothes . The person was her male acquaintance. If the owner doesn't contact me I'm sending this to BBB and the CC Think twice before coming here I wish I had. The onsite worker did take my wet clothes out of a large machine so someone else could use the machine. I got there 2-3 minutes after the load had run, so, the dude didn't have to wait long. I never use laundry wash services but this was a good clean spot with reasonable price and not too crowded. They have wash/fold services and selections of washers and dryers for 20-40 lb loads with signs that have wash/dry times. They have soap/detergent and fluffs if needed for $1. Change machine, quarters and laundry card options. Of course they have counter space to fold laundry and laundry carts. Used this to wash two large blankets that wouldn't fit in my washer and it did a good job except a small damp spot left on one of the blankets. Wash for 30 lb load was $4 and took about 24 min, drying was $1.25 for 25 min. Would definitely use this spot again if needed. read more

The first time I went here, I was happy to be able to wash my giant comforters and large loads of laundry in contrast to the small washers at my apartment complex but as time went by many strange characters start to hang around. It starts to feel uncomfortable walking in and out. But this didn't deter me, not a big deal because I liked the place. I went back but this would be last time at this ghetto establishment. I usually wait right out front for me laundry to be done and I go in to switch things around. Couldn't find my laundry...so this lady is like oh I had the attendant move it because I needed this machine WTF DON'T TOUCH MY PROPERTY LITERALLY MY UNDERWEAR AND PERSONAL ITEMS ARE JUST IN A CART OFF TO THE SIDE..exposed.. The attendant didn't say shit to me when I couldn't find my laundry this random customer had to tell me she asked the lady to move it and she did... So what you're saying is I can go in there and ask any attendant to move your personal items..your clothes..drawers and all to be exposed in one of those carts not even put in a plastic bag just in the cart whenever tf I want? I'm sorry but that's wrong. Another customer should not be able to control when my laundry comes in or out. Especially when I meticulously time everything so I was in there the moment it finished. She should have told the lady she would have to use another machine or split her laundry up to use the next size down. Absolutely ridiculous. That's straight up incompetence. Really bad is an understatement. The door has a wood on it to cover what looks to be a break in. Unfortunate yes. But they keep the other door locked so wear gloves because you might get splinters off it. They say they accept credit card and debit card and signs in and on the place state this but none of the machines nor any of the staff take card. read more

Solid 4. We've been without a washer-dryer for about six months now (ask me over beers) and I've been using Advantage Laundry in the interim. There are a lot of laundromats within a few square miles, and I've settled on this one because it's relatively clean and well maintained, the staff is nice/helpful, and it's rarely so crowded that I have a hard time getting a machine or space to fold. They use a payment processing app, EasyPay, which has worked for me 90% of the time. When it works, it's way better than having to deal with cards or coins, and the time it didn't work, it seemed not to take any $ from my account, so we're good. Just remember to have plastic or cash on hand just in case. Also good to know: you need to spend the 50 cents on the Extra Rinse feature (press button #2) on the washing machines. I'm not sure if it's other people who use WAY too much detergent or they use some intensely floral-smelling cleaning agents, but your clothes will come out smelling ... strong, if you don't use the Extra Rinse. No surprise, this isn't a wealthy neighborhood. It seems generally safe, though once I saw a fist fight in the parking lot. I couldn't find a dedicated bike rack, but there are places to lock up if you're creative. If you drive, the parking lot is a bit tight, especially the spots near Cash1, which seem to be painted too small for even my Camry. Overall, though, I'll keep using Advantage ... at least until we got our washer-dryer replaced. read more

Aggravated is an understatement. The building does not have its hours posted, nor does it have the time for its final wash. The woman that was working watched me go back and forth from my car 3 times to get additional loads of laundry. She was too busy in the back Facetiming her friends to say anything, but when I had already thrown in a load into one of the big machines and was about to put my quarters into the second, she came over and said, "Last wash was 7:45, we close at 8:00" with an attitude. First off, who would have the final wash be at 7:45 when an average cycle takes 23 minutes to complete? Then, what do you expect me to do? Go home with wet clothes? She said the same thing to another customer, and when he confronted her and pointed out that the times don't line up, she said, "Well, I'm here until 9:00 so it's okay for tonight." Meanwhile, I had already removed the load that I was about to do and put it back into my car and asked my roommate to drive 20 minutes out of the way to bring me an extra basket so I can transport my now wet clothes from the first load to a different laundromat down the street. I did confront the attendant and asked her to clarify the times, and the entire time she was still talking on FaceTime--COMPLETELY unprofessional. I have reasons to believe that either: a.) She was lying and the place really closed at 9:00, and she wanted to get out of there earlier than what she was scheduled for, or b.) She lost track of time because she was preoccupied talking to her friends instead of making an announcement for the final wash, then tried to do too little too late. Regardless, I will not be returning, which is a shame because otherwise the facilities are nice and they offer larger machines, which is why I trek all the way from Martinez to do my laundry there in the first place. read more

I usually use this place to take care of laundry since I can get a lot of loads done at once but looks like I'm going to have to find someplace else now. Every time I would swipe my debit card it would tell me that "credit cards were not accepted", which is weird since I've been coming here for months without issue. When I asked the lady who worked there about it she told me that they no longer take cards that it's cash or coins only. I pointed out that the front window says that they take credit and debit and she replied that not anymore that it was cash only but there was an ATM that I could use to pull out cash (which of course charges a service fee) or I could buy one of their prepaid debit cards but the minimum purchase would be $20. It's 2021, no one uses cash anymore. Looks like I'll be going somewhere else from now on. read more

My go to laundromat! So many washers and dryers you'll never struggle to get a load in. I came at 1pm on a Thursday and was able to use 8 larger washers. The place is pretty clean compared to others I've been to. 98%of the machines are in working order and the best part is you can pay with your credit/debit card. As I'm writing this review one of the employees is going around and cleaning the machines and sweeping floors. Maybe they saw the bad reviews and changed? I'm not sure but I've been coming here for a year or so now and I enjoy it. Gets the job done. It's a laundromat, I'm not expecting something luxurious. Let me start by saying this was my first encounter like this at this laundry mat. I've used their wash and fold service in the past and it was great. This time I didn't have time to pick up my laundry at a later date. One of my loads was finished but still had water still in the sheets. When I took it out some water spilled on the floor as I looked for something to clean it up the lady working the desk muttered some derogatory comments in Spanish not knowing I speak Spanish. Then she continued to talk about me to another customer who was using the machines. I don't know why she was so mad at me, maybe she was having a bad day but treating customers like that isn't ok. The owners of Advantage Laundry need to determine whether they want to be a neighborhood laundry or an industrial laundering company handling petrochemical contaminated coveralls. Week after week SWAT (Specialty Welding and Turnarounds out of Louisiana ) uses the washing machines and dryers to washed hundreds of contaminated coveralls. Right now 8 large dryers are spinning. Does SWAT risk their neighbors in Louisiana like this or just out of town where they can't be seen? Shame on SWAT, use an industrial laundry company like the rest of the oil refineries around here. The place is clean, they have wifi, and an attendant is always there. As an aside, the attendants I have dealt with are super nice as well. The issue is that they no longer take credit cards at the machine, you are required to buy one of their debit cards which starts at $20. So they arent lying when they say they take credit cards but you have to go to the machine and use your credit card to buy their debit card. This branded debit card is the only one the machines will take and is an in house debit card, not one I could take next door. I am not a fan of the tactic and strongly prefer the machines being able to take my card but I would hope the owner has a functional reason for doing that and not just a hope for people to lose the debit card thereby making him/her more money for free. Outside of that one issue, I have been here many times and the experience is good. read more

Prices are decent and you can use your credit or debit card besides quarters. However, most recently almost half of the washing machines were out of order, which made it a long wait for anyone to use a machine. I was hesitant to write a review on this place because I don't want more people coming to use this little piece of laundry heaven, but I feel compelled to share something about this place. First off, it is clean! Well, clean for a laundromat. There is tape holding some things together, and it has that certain grime that can only come from a public use building. However, the employees have been attentive to my needs when I've asked for something and overall it's a pleasing experience. Now for the odd thing I wanted to share. This place seems to be somewhat of a "meat market." The first time I was there, a man came up and hit on my wife in front of me. He was not shy about it at all. We both kind of laughed it off and went about our business. The next time I was there with my son, this woman folding clothes hit on me! (Quick side note: I don't have anything against kids, but ladies... When you're folding enough clothes to cover 5 kids, it's NOT attractive to most men!) The last time I was there with my mother, some guy came up and made eyes at her! It was cute in an "older people not getting much action, but still flirting" kind of way. Then as my mother and I are drying clothes I noticed two people hooking up in the car outside. (To be fair, I don't think they had been in the laundromat, but they were parked in front of it.) So, there you have it folks! A good place to clean your clothes and find a date! Oh, and for any women that read this and think it's now a bad place because you don't want to deal with the men... both men I saw were polite and not pushy at all. Here's a quick rundown of the particulars: -Pay quarter for the bathroom inside (maybe this prevents it from getting too dirty). -Everything else is pretty constricted--both inside (machines are pretty close together with limited seating and the aisles are narrow) and in the parking lot. This causes it to be pretty hot inside in the summer, so dress accordingly. -The skinny on the machines: $.25 nets you 6 mins for drying, and $4.50 for a warm wash takes it almost to dry, which is great. $2.00 for drying, and you're on your way to clean clothes for another week. Pros- you can pay with a credit card and it is kind of clean. It's close enough to other places where you can run errands. Con-employees must get paid by how much wash and fold they can do, as they will monopolize the largest washers and driers. Obviously I am irritated at the con. I, and along with a probably notable chunk of their clientele, only come here with huge items that won't in my home machines. In my case , this is a fiber bed, which is a feather beds' cruelty-free and washable cousin if you know a vegetarian or allergy sufferer needing a bed buffer. I have politely asked several times and seen others ask the employees as well, but they won't share the machines and insist we cram our bedding in smaller machines, which can damage, or in the least, not actually clean or dry the items, which is kind of the point of making a trip here. read more

Pros: relatively clean, well lit, easy pay, wash and fold option Cons: easy pay doesn't always work, parking lot is a hassle, machines eat your coins, left over suds just sit in machines so you pretty much have no choice but to use the extra rise feature Advise to business owner would be to not offer things you cannot maintain. If the ability to use my credit card was reliably consistent I'd be thrilled and having the expectation that it would be left me disappointed. Just stick to one method and do it properly. read more

I have been here to the location about 10 times since 2010 or so. Pros: 1. Accepts credit cards without having to buy a card. Or you can use coins. (They used to put a larger amount hold on your credit card each time you paid that way (once for the washer and then again for drying). Now, after I complained a few times, they put a smaller hold and only do it the first time you charge your credit card in a day. Still, I check it online the next day after I use it to make sure the right amount was charged.) 2. Plenty of push carts for the laundry located conveniently by the front door. One time the attendant even said I could just leave it outside when I finished bringing the clothes to my car. 3. Enough seating waiting areas, as long as it is not busy. 4. Free wifi and coin games to play. 5. Staffed at all hours. 6. Sink to use. 7. More than enough folding tables to use. 8. Wash and fold service available. 9. Pretty clean (except under the gum machines). 10. Staff seems helpful if you have a problem (but see below). 11. Fair price, although I haven;t been here in a few years. Not too high, not too low. 12. I was able to get them on the phone when I had a question, although it seemed like I was calling a house, not an office. Cons: 1. It is hard to push carts overflowing with clothes up the winding slope that is the handicapped ramp. It is sometimes easier to use the main sidewalk straight to your car and lift the cart over the curb. 2. Sometimes scuzzy people hang around there. There is a homeless encampment by there the the highway and the creek. 3. You might have to park a little farther away since it is small plaza with a number of stores. 4. You have to pay to use the restroom, unless the attendant lets you in. It used to be free. 5. There can be a lot of machines out of order at times. 6. Some of the dryers produce less heat than others. 7. Staff doesn't seem to care if you complain about some dryers not producing enough hear. 8. Two spaces right by the laundry are reserved for the convenience/liquor store nest door, which I think is unfair, since people doing laundry have large carts of clothes to push. And there is rarely anyone in that store. I blame the landlord for this. 9. Older machines that have a lot of use and older building. 10. One end of the bench tipped like a see-saw when I sat on the other end. 11. Crowded aisle ways. Some times I have to wait until the other party is done or makes room before passing them with a cart full of laundry. 12. Sometimes there aren't large-capacity washers available for me to use. 13. A quarter for 6 minutes of dry time is a lot. Other laundromats give you 8 or 10 minutes. I want to give them 3.5 stars. I think 4 is a little too much, but 3 is a little too low. read more
