I was told to pick it up at a certain time, but due to some sort of miscommunication, by the time I arrived the store had already closed early because of the holiday. Since Thanksgiving was the very next day, I figured I was out of luck and started mentally preparing to find a different dress to wear. I called the store anyway and somehow managed to get in touch with the owner. He explained that they had closed early because of Thanksgiving, which I completely understood. But when I told him my situation, he did something I absolutely did not expect. He said he was about 40 minutes away, but insisted on turning around and coming back to the store just so I could get my dress. He drove all the way back, opened the shop for me, and then had to drive another 40 minutes again afterward. I honestly couldn't believe it. That level of customer service is incredibly rare these days. He went so far out of his way to help me, especially right before a major holiday. Truly 10/10 service. I'm so grateful and will absolutely continue coming here. Highly recommend!

We did do some research to find a nice clean location and this one had solid reviews so we gave it a try. Right across from Safeway and BWP in downtown Walnut Creek, parking IS metered but there's plenty of it near the entrance which is key when loading and unloading. I have (literally) years worth of laundry that I've been waiting to do because my machines at home are too small. Duvets, comforters, blankets and towels galore. I couldn't take them living in trash bags anymore so we finally took them here to wash and dry. Yes, its expensive. We used the largest machines- 80lb machines- and it was $17 a wash load. Good news is, drying is only $1.50 each 16 minute cycle. But the peace of mind finally getting these items washed and in a clean establishment is most important. The staff member was super friendly and was seen cleaning them entire time we were there, probably a couple hours. $17 a cycle feels high, but if that's your one load for the week for 80lbs of laundry is sufficient for most people, and that cycle only takes 24 minutes then you're into the dryer. You can be in and out in an hour if you load your machines right. We went around 5p on a Sunday evening, and it wasn't busy at all. 2 other patrons. Then it picked up and during the time we were there most machines were in use. No 5th star because its hot and stuffy inside. Theres a standing fan to try to help, but its broken. Wish there was AC.

A quarter gets you five minutes on the smaller dryers but to my surprise, it only took about 20 minutes for a load to dry. Mind you my loads were not large and I did not use the washer here so imagine a load in a home style washer and bringing it to dry and it only taking 20 minutes, which is really wonderful. I wish it was a little bit cleaner in here though, and that the Wi-Fi password was posted because it gets a little bit boring, of course just standing around however this place is pretty solid to get in and out real quick. Parking is also a pain when it's busy, but if you wait enough, you'll find a spot.

All I got was sorry we can't predict why the cleaning machines failed. One of the most infuriating experiences, I came later in the day after calling to confirm - I called two of their stores as instructed. In a mad rush to park, not miss my flight that evening. Giant scrape to the car bumper, repair is on the order of $2-3k based off quotes all for some freaking dry cleaning and a rush I did not expect nor co-signed. If only they returned the outfit and I could have gone elsewhere. I got my clothes finally, this is a one and done experience for me.

Additionally, I had other pairs of old jeans that didn't fit as well as it used to due to the aforementioned weight loss. I was about to donate them when someone told me that dry cleaners can alter the waist size. When they had me wear the older jeans to get an idea, they said they could do one pair, but the other would look weird if their friend did the job. I'm wearing the one pair that their friend altered, and it fits and feels amazing. I don't know if anyone will be able to tell they were however sizes bigger than when I first bought them. The new jeans I had them alter fit really well and now is at a comfortable length where my shoes and jeans meet. Price wise, the husband told me over the phone that to alter the new jeans would be $15 each, but when I came in to have them measure the jeans, they told me it was $17 a pair. I just don't understand why they would quote me one price on the phone but charge me a higher price in-person. I guess we both won in the end. They got some business and I got my needs met.
