I don't like writing this review, but I had one of the most uncomfortable retail experiences here…read more I wanted to buy uhaul boxes, and didn't realize that I wasn't going to a uhaul specific location, but no big deal. They don't offer bundle discounts if you buy 20/25 boxes like uhaul, but fine I was already there. I was prepared to pay more money per box. Once I checked out I went to my car and checked uhaul prices, I was charged $4 for medium boxes, $39 for 10 medium boxes. At uhaul it's $39 for 20 boxes. I came back apologizing saying I'm sorry but with the price 2x as much I needed to return them. The owner was *angry* raising his voice saying there was no price difference arguing with me, as I had the site open ready to show him. He angrily waved me off saying fine and a woman began to refund me. She was huffing, rolling her eyes, acting irritated with me. She didn't refund me tax (they do everything manually), and when i pointed that out and asked to do at first she repeatedly refused...umm that's illegal. Finally she did, with a very unpleasant attitude. At the end I softly said, hey I hope you can understand where I'm coming from. You guys charge 2x as much as uhaul, and I should showed my phone to her. She aggressively raised her voice shutting me down waving me off. Well. Alright. I went to uhaul and bought 20 boxes for $39. Instead of 10 for $39. Most aggressive retail experience I've had. Just...feral. I work retail myself...I was kind, calm, respectful the entire time :-/.

They were so helpful (and never once forced 'technology' on me, like going online to fill out an app or faxing over a signature), it was just simple, over the phone, good old-fashion personable service. I had the tiniest 2-hour window to correct an omission in an important document; and because of these folks I cleared it easy! Thank you, Nikita!

Every visit was captured on Ring cameras while our family was out of the country. The aggressive pounding on the door was enough to scare our house and dog sitter, who was staying at the home while we were away. They used deceptive tactics in an attempt to get a response regarding court paperwork connected to a case that has absolutely nothing to do with us. They repeatedly showed up at our property at all hours of the day (830-9pm--unacceptable!) and engaged in behavior that was more like stalking and harassment than professional process serving. I have video evidence of the repeated visits, aggressive knocking, wild rhetoric, and attempts to peer into my home. If this is how this company conducts business, people should be aware before hiring them. Should this happen again, we will contact law enforcement and provide the footage for harassment concerns. Avoid.

I found Meyers by chance while searching online for movers who do small jobs. Their scheduler responded within minutes to ask about our needs, and said she could schedule next-day service. For a very reasonable price, Meyers sent two men with all necessary equipment. They arrived early, which is almost unheard of now-a-days, and were efficient, knew what they were doing, and took care to move things where nothing got damaged. All payment was handled electronically through the crew leaders phone (they take credit card, cash, or check). We were done within an hour's time, and there was no hassle or extra fees like larger moving companies charge as "minimums" or "service fees". If you need appliances moved, furniture delivered, or similar services contact Meyers and they can get it done.

Meyers was recommended to me from a consignment store down in Lakewood. I got three recommendations and they were the ones who called me back first. I had such a good experience with Michelle on the phone, who said she could accommodate me that same day! Unfortunately, I didn't need that quick of service, but she explained her no hidden costs fees. We bought a bedroom set and the store didn't provide delivery services which is why we were referred to a few different local movers. Meyers is family-owned and operated, they were going to charge me $150 for three pieces and $175 for 5 (there was some range in there). For the convenience, I decided to have them bring me all five instead of me having to drive from Plano just to pick up two nightstands. I scheduled it for a Monday and because I was traveling out of the country, Michelle communicated with me by text, which I loved. She answered all my questions and we scheduled it for a Monday delivery with a window of 10-noon. I got a call from Joe Meyers when he was about 10 minutes out, he showed up right around 10 with a guy named James. They came in to take a look first and I showed them where I wanted everything. I had a king bed in the space with a headboard that was already detached, box springs and a metal bed frame. I had nightstands in place and asked if they could disassemble the frame and move the nightstands and Joe said yes to everything. They took a few minutes to assemble the bed and were so careful about moving all the pieces in. They built the bed and then asked if I wanted the box springs in or I could just have the mattress - I chose the latter. They happily moved the box springs upstairs for me, helped me move one of the old nightstands upstairs. They put the other pieces in carefully (dresser and chest) and even moved my heavy plasma TV onto the dresser for me. The whole time, both Joe and James were pleasant and so accommodating and most importantly to me, nothing felt rushed. I didn't feel they were in a hurry to get to their next appointment - they made me feel like I was the only customer of the day (even though I knew I wasn't) and they payment was easy as they take credit card right there and you pay when you're done. I got a card and already told a couple of friends about my great experience! Love supporting small businesses! Thanks for such a great experience!
