HomeGoods gave a strong recommendation for this service based on how the delivery men package and care for the products, however, coordinating a pickup and delivery has been horrific. This is my third attempt to coordinate pickup/delivery in as many days. Same storyline for each day. 10a-2p delivery window, delay until end of day, then unable to make delivery, then reschedule for "first delivery" the next morning. Customer service is readily available and nice but range from unhelpful to inept. This will be the last time I use this service and if not delivered today, I will cancel and move on. We were referred to this company for delivery services by the furniture store we were purchasing from, so we made a reservation through their online system (after this was recommended by their automated phone system). We were initially relieved to find a delivery window "available" in the online system that worked with the Monday pick-up window offered by the furniture store. We were much less relieved when we received a call on Monday from the company communicating that there would be a delivery "delay." We were further displeased when that window was expanded from 12:00pm to the end of that day, as my husband and I both work and have important demands on our time. So, imagine our utter disbelief when we then received communication that our delivery was further delayed by TWO DAYS. What??!! We scheduled for a delivery at 12:00pm on Monday, and your company is now offering delivery at 2:00pm on Wednesday? With no discount for the inconvenience? How is that acceptable? After ongoing communication with customer support, we eventually ceded to the Wednesday delivery time, as we were offered no other options and had already spent far too much time on the issue. However, when Wednesday arrived, we were in shock (and no short supply of frustration and anger) when faced with the reality that the delivery was being delayed even further. What??!! To add salt to the wound, the manager we talked to was completely aloof and condescending, and after communicating with her, we decided we were done. We canceled the order and had another company actually deliver our items in the timeframe they committed to (the next day). As a business owner myself, I am astounded that this business has stayed viable with this brand of blatant disregard for their customers. Bluntly, it's terrible. This company's brand of attempting to placate customers in the absence of actually doing the job they were hired to do is everything that is wrong with customer service in our current society. I am beyond furious. I scheduled delivery for Sunday, I understand busy times so when I was pushed to Wednesday it was no big deal. They scheduled me in the middle of the day 12-2. I received a text at 11am saying there are delays and someone would reach out to confirm my eta. By 11:145 no call. I called at 12:15 to see what was going on because no one had contacted me the rep said 12-2 is still my window. I go to chat with an agent at 1:30 to see what's up because the window is closing because I HAVE SOMEWHERE TO GO by 3. The agent on the chat never said when my new window was and the chat closed itself out three times. I then at 1:50 finally get a human agent who takes about 8 minutes to tell me that my order has been pushed from 2-4 and all I get an apology. I'm beyond pissed. This has been a total inconvenience with almost no communication from the business itself. So now the store is closed and I have to wait to handle this at a later date. I want my money back. Like there's no way in hell I went through all of this to have late and incomplete delivery. I feel bad for the customer service reps who are getting a bad rap on Yelp, they were very helpful but they cannot make a nonexistent driver show up. This is a corporate issue, customers should not be able to make an appt if you do not have enough drivers/movers to complete the job. I will never recommend or use this company again. After being canceled on twice (a week apart), I just chose another company. All in a day moving is amazing, they did exactly that and moved my couch to my home the next day. We had a rough experience at the beginning of scheduling someone to pick up our patio furniture at Home Goods. The chat online was also signing me in and out. The driver from pick up made the decision that the mattress firm factory location was closed (when it was still open as confirmed by mattress firm) so he canceled my order. Well wouldn't you know it the lady from the night before over booked the entire day and they had to cancel five different orders including ours. I asked to have a manager call me back and they promised that would happen within an hour. They never called me back. So tomorrow at 11-1 is it. I would give zero stars if it was possible. I was originally contacted by your service after setting up a delivery for a glider (recliner) on Saturday June 4th. The initial delivery window was between 2 and 6 PM. the email I received said the window needed to be extended to 8 pm as you were struggling to find drivers. A few hours later I was contacted again and told that there were no drivers for my area available and that you would have to reschedule my delivery for a later date. I was shocked when the customer service representative said that The soonest available time that would be CONVENIENT FOR THE DRIVER would be a week later. When planning for a new baby in the house, schedule matters a lot. My wife and I had plans the following weekend so it was a very inconvenient date. After talking to the staff at buybuy baby, who also got the same response from your sales associates, the conclusion was that the delivery would in fact have to be delayed a week because it was an inconvenience to your drivers. The delivery was scheduled for today June 11 between 10 am and 2 PM. I received a phone call around 1 PM informing me that, yet again your service was struggling to find drivers. I called the store manager Janice at buybuy baby, who is a phenomenal Advocate for her customers and she took up the mantle of rectifying your failure. After Janice's " pleaded" with one of your delivery Drivers, one of them finally agreed to deliver the piece. It was delivered after 5 PM. Our Delivery person Youssef did excellent job delivering The glider, setting it up in a timely manner and Be respectful of our home in my time. He shouldn't in no way be reprimanded for anything. Your entire business and staff could be replaced with a smart phone app. That would cause less confusion. I scheduled a pickup from home goods to my business. The agent over the phone was nice and scheduled the pick up. However the following day I received a text at 10 am they would miss the window and would deliver later in the day. I did not get additional contact until 4:30 when they said they did not have staff to do the delivery and needed to reschedule. I arranged for a double seated chair to be picked up from a store and delivered to my home. The deliverymen arrived in a timely manner, but neither workers wore face coverings to protect themselves and others against Covid. When the chair was first lifted to be brought into my home, I observed the seat and back cusions had fallen to the ground. They had fallen because the cushions werent secured to the chair or removed prior to moving the chair. One of the workers was small in stature and was struggling to properly grip and carry the chair, so to help prevent damage to the chair or my walls, I assisted the workers carry the chair up a flight of stairs onto a second floor landing. Once on the landing, I released the chair for the men to carry the chair through a bedroom door to its destination. It was at this time, when I noticed the workers began moving very fast and told them to slow down, but to no avail. Unfortunately, one of the legs to the chair slammed into a corner of a wall, causing damage to the wall. I realize the workers did not mean to drop the cushions or hit the wall, but there must be some type of accountability when accidents happen, that lead to the cutomer havimg to pay for repairs for damages caused by the deliverymen. The lack of experience and attention to detail was clearly what contributed to this incident. I hope to hear back from the contractor to make things right. I was offered this service with west elm furniture store. I never knew an app/ company like this existed so when it was an option I was eager to use. When my couch arrived a few weeks later I downloaded the app and proceeded to schedule my appointment. They call there movers "good guys"... Which I thought was creative and welcoming. The day of my scheduled appointment the weather was bad so Pick-Up called me and rescheduled a time best suitable for my needs. I thought then calling me versus me calling them was awesome. We rescheduled for there next day. In the end my service was just that easy. Full disclosure (and a spoiler alert) I ended up cancelling this service for all the reasons outlined below, so this review is based on my customer service experience, not the actual delivery. I purchased a sofa from HomeSense and reluctantly ($101 delivery fee for a $800 sofa) signed up for PickUp because it seemed the easiest and fastest way to get my sofa to me. To my delight, there were same day delivery times available. I picked the 6-10 pm, time slot, knowing that we would for sure be home during that time. I have poor phone service in my office, but texts work just fine. I received a text from Crystal asking me to text back to confirm my delivery, which I promptly did. At some point over the next 4 hours I received a couple of voicemails asking me to confirm, so I called the number back and they said, we have no record of anyone calling you. The person on the other end of the phone asked for the number that called and could not comprehend that it was literally the number at which I was calling her. She was very rude, I didn't get her name and was very dismissive. Sure enough, I get a third call from this number saying that they need to reschedule because they were unable to reach me to confirm. What the??? So I finally get someone on the phone who is not at all apologetic, the tone was more like "yeah, we are doing the best we can". I can understand this if the delivery was free from the company where I purchased the sofa, but this is service that I ordered and am paying for. We reschedule for 2 days later (first available time) and I ask him if he can guarantee this delivery as I will be taking off from work to be there. He said that he could not guarantee, but that they would do their best. What the???? So now I am frustrated and whining to a friend who happens to have a pickup truck and said he would help me. Wouldn't you know, the best customer service experience I had with this company was when I cancelled the order. I recommend NOT using this company unless you are in no rush to get your stuff and/or have all the time in the world to wait and see what happens. read more
