I was really amazed at how fast the healing process went from day one to day three. Jody and Carlos were absolutely amazing. Filling out their intake form was very easy and I got a call within an hour. They already had me scheduled before I went home from the hospital. They went out of their way to make sure they could accommodate me. They are both very professional, kind and make you very comfortable. I was day 7 when I did my first experience. I did it again on day 9. Brian is very nice and welcoming. He was flexible with my appointments. Evening appointments worked well for me. He says to try to wear 100 % cotton which is really hard nowadays. So be prepared to search your closet for cotton! No makeup, no hair products allowed. Would be best to take a shower and then head over so you are nice and clean from any products. My healing is doing well, swelling has gone down. I don't know if it's from the chamber or just days of recovery. I will probably go one more time for this healing. After I might do it once a month, seems like there is a lot of benefits other than post op.

Cary, Dale and Ashley are caring ,competent, and extremely knowledgeable with their patient care. After you check in and have your blood glucose checked you will change into a hospital type gown in a small changing room with a locker for your clothes and personal items. Once done with that you will enter your oxygen chamber and start your therapy.  During your therapy time, you may choose to watch a show on television or just lay back, go to sleep or meditate while you enjoy some quiet time. Staff will provide you with a small bottle of water while you are in the chamber. I had about 30 sessions  to complete for my therapy. All in all this was an excellent experience for me and I highly recommend  this facility for your therapy

I also did see and feel a difference after doing the HBOT sessions, but not sure if this is something I can continue to add to my regimen due to how expensive it is. You're definitely paying for what you get but this is a luxury service that not everyone can afford. I went for a series of sessions following lumbar fusion surgery because a significant body of research shows pre-operative HBOT therapy can very significantly reduce post-operative complications (Hyperbaric Oxygen Preconditioning Can Reduce Postabdominoplasty Complications: A Retrospective Cohort Study (Friedman, T., et al., 2019), especially those horrible bone infections that aren't noticed for weeks to months after surgery, and to speed up healing (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in Orthopaedics: An Adjunct Therapy with an Emerging Role (Jeyaraman, M., et al., 2023). I was very impressed with Dan and Cherise for their professionalism and 100% attention to the entire process. Their attention to detail and professionalism meant even more to me considering HBOT therapy means being kept in a small container where, if you're claustrophobic, it can be stressful. To help with this, Dan always had a ready supply of television shows to watch during the process and in fact, he and I spent many a session watching TV together taking turns sharing movies we liked! Did I mention Dan's impeccable credentials for running a HBOT practice, for attention to detail is vital when it comes to managing high pressure oxygen systems? Yes, Dan was trained under a Navy legend, the famous Master Chief Billy Sunday (played by Robert De Niro in the movie Men of Honor (https://g.co/kgs/6PpaZve). I came in for a debridement in my heel but it later turned into skin wounds on my legs. Which at the time I thought was a simple thing, that would fix itself and even my homecare nurse at the time said it wasn't serious but Dr. Anderson noticed it was actually serious. He fixed up fast over a couple of months (in a long detailed process), he gave me some inspirational words each week we met, told me to the importance of having my sugar blood sugar low and; under control, reminded me to keep off my leg and he treated my wounds. He also went beyond that with getting a much better home nurse, the right supplies, a wound vac and now I'm doing skin grafts. Seriously I feel like royalty but this is just normal care I'm sure. I feel like a project but like a awesome new tech (million dollar man) project. I can't tell you guys how much faith I lost before coming to him, weeks of crying, being depress and not thinking I'd ever get better but now I look forward to just living again. I spender months in a hospital bed but now I look forward to defeating diabetes and I look forward to my fresh new legs.  I have been battling through so many doctors, surgeons and a different wound center/team that was horrible "tri-city wound center" (seriously they were ready to cut off my leg,throw me away and they didn't know how to treat me. Save yourself and don't even go to them).  Side note: If you training to go into this career. This man is who you NEED to follow and learn from. He is a amazing leader, a great medical mind, his eye for the details is so FOCUSED, he is like a hawk or sniper, it's the fact he cares about every little thing and; the fact he does it so fast/well is just unreal and he is just a overall great individual. I could go on and on about why Dr. Anderson is so GREAT!!  It's rare to come across a doctor that's really cares you the patient. He treats you like family. He wants to see you truly be better and be healed. I don't cry anymore, I don't feel sad anymore and I have true hope now. I love this doctor and everyone there.
