Tuesday, 4-16-2024: My surgeon, Dr. Lucas Wymore of NewportCare Medical Group (please see my review) arranged to have my rotator cuff & bicep surgery at this facility. The waiting room was comfortable and nicely decorated. I checked in before 7:30 AM. The ladies upfront were not very friendly as I wasn't even greeted with a salutation, thus one star off. A little courtesy goes a long way & I was hoping this was not an ominous sign. I paid the $75 facility fee in cash and wasn't given a receipt. I called later in the week to request one just to CYA. My reservations were put aside as I was called back in the prep room & met with the entire staff. The prep area was very clean and bright. The staff are all so professional and friendly and I was at ease and prepared efficiently for the surgery. Dr. Wymore came in to speak to me before they wheeled me into the surgical room. I have the utmost trust & confidence in my doctor. My husband told me it was a three hour surgery. I remember being in the recovery room coming out of the anesthesia. They used a nerve blocker, too. It made my breathing very shallow but it went away the next day. I called my doctor's office & left a message because I was worried about my breathing but Dr. Wymore returned my call promptly and calmed my concerns. He was right! I had to wait until I was fully conscious before releasing me. It was a nice experience and I look forward to healing and eventually becoming pain free! read more

I had both hips 'replaced' many years ago with a several days in hospital. But now they 'do it differently. So he was happy, he's healing well and I'm happy! Everything went smoothly from checkin to check out. The staff were amazing and attentive to details. The nurses were friendly and addressed my questions with ease and courtesy. Dr Brodak was the Dr who performed the Surgery . He came in prior and explained in detail what would be taking place. The surgical nurse was introduced himself and explained what they would be doing in assisting the doctor. The anesthesiologist was helpful in explaining what he would be doing . He was so kind. After my knee surgery I experienced a mobility issue preventing me from leaving in a normal time frame.. my recovery room nurses, Aimee and Izzie were absolute angels.. they ended up turning a nightmare scenario into a success.. after staying an extra 3 hours after everyone else had gone home.. they finally figured out a way to get me into my sister's vehicle.. and I made it home in one piece! Golden Triangle surgicenter truly deserves a Golden medal. I cried all last night anxiously waiting for the hour to check my son in for hernia surgery today. Front desk super nice. The moment we were called to the back by Stephany (nurse), she was a breath of fresh air, she seen me shed my last tears and took the time to take some deep breaths with me and pulled me together. Today was about my son and they made sure of that. Stephany (nurse) Emily (anesthesiologist), Keene (anesthesiologist), Jamie (nurse), Amy (nurse) all worked together, compassionate, explained every detail and made my son feel comfortable, and welcomed. Dr Dada is the best, very thorough, friendly and takes his time to talk to family . You can truly tell that the Doctor and staff love what they do. I had knee replacement surgery, seemed ok. They told me after I was prepped they can't give me the nerve blocker. A very stressful experience. Communication wasn't the greatest unsure of that was doctors office or them? After care again still really wasn't there. Nurse came by once. Pt was absolutely joke. I start outside on the 12th. Surgery should have been planned much better. Not sure who's a fault? So the experience was ok. read more

Had Kidney Stone Shockwave surgery. The procedure went perfectly, on time with very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating staff. Dr. Connor Urologist from Tri Valley Urology was very capable, friendly and a perfect pick to perform this procedure. Very happy overall. Special shout out to Neal (attended to me in recovery). Neal was excellent at explaining thing, very friendly and efficient. He was there when I opened my eyes after surgery until he helped my wife get me to the car. I had a surgery at Golden Triangle yesterday, and I was amazed at the kindness, professionalism and communication from them. My experience started out with the nicest human ever calling to schedule my appointment. After that I received many text communications from them, to prefill out all of my forms, get information, and updates regarding my surgery time, check in time, and preparing for surgery. Once there, the lady at the front desk checked me in and provided me a wrist band. She was very sweet, and it was nice being treated so well right from the start when I was so very nervous for the procedure. Once I got called back, the nurse introduced herself and took me into a room with 3 beds (curtains separating them) and had me change and get ready for surgery. I told her right away how nervous I was and she took the time to talk to me, tell me about herself and the staff, and it really made me feel much better. It's kind of hard to believe that although the pre-op room is not totally private, you don't' feel exposed or rushed in any way. I know they must be busy but all the staff seemed relaxed, cheerful, and thorough. The nurse that walked me back, was also the nurse that did my IV, asked many times if I was comfortable or cold, and checked in on me while I waited for my doctor. The anesthesiologist came in next, Dr. Baker (I think - it's hard to remember everyone's name). He was cheerful, friendly, and explained the entire procedure he uses. I was most nervous about going under, so it was really nice that he took the time to introduce himself, even made some small talk, told me my surgery room was ready, we were just waiting on my DR (who I knew was coming from another place). He made me feel like I was safe in his hands which was important to me. After that another nurse came in, introduced herself and told me she would be the nurse with me during the surgery. She also was so nice, so friendly, and very thorough. Every person that interacted with me went over my medical history with me again, making me feel that I was in good hands, that everyone wanted to have all of the information about me, and that they really cared and liked their jobs. My Dr arrived and spoke to me yet again, went over all of the paperwork from everyone else, and pretty soon my anesthesiologist was back and all of the sudden I felt tired, and then woke up. Literally it felt that fast. I don't even remember falling asleep and I was awake and it was over. The nurse that was there when I woke up, was a new person who immediately introduced herself, made sure I was comfortable and not in any pain, and then brought my husband in. After a very short time, she was comfortable with releasing me and she put me in a wheelchair and in my car. I was in a complete state of panic regarding this procedure, I don't have much experience with surgeries etc, and every single person affiliated with Golden Triangle Surgery Center made me feel safe, comforted and well taken care of. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you to everyone there. read more

Front staff was very polite, and my file was efficiently ready, when I arrived to review the paperwork. After being taken to the back, I met my pre-op nurse, Brenda, who completed additional paperwork, extremely polite and a joy to talk with. Brenda, did her job extremely well and has wonderful communication skills. actually, all of the back nurses were extremely polite And enjoyable to talk with. After a short while I met with dr ellis, reviewed the file again and went over any questions I might have. I then met with the anesthesiologist, who was also extremely polite and caring and confirmed my documentation for surgery. after being wheeled into surgery and subsequently put to sleep, I woke up in postop And was cared for by The wonderful nurses. My nurses were very attentive !! due to the fact, I had a lot of pain following my procedure. Subsequently, I I was okayed to be released had short conversations with the wonderful staff and left the facility. I would highly recommend this surgery center, for their wonderful care, extremely caring staff and nurses. read more

I am very disappointed in this surgery center. Admission was fine but the exiting was very disappointing. I just came to and was rushed to leave, I believe the staff wanted to leave it was almost 4 o'clock and only one other person there waiting for a ride. I asked to go to lavatory I was taken, while in there was told to get dressed and I started throwing up. They finished dressing me and good bye. I've never been sick from the anesthesia before, I was and rushed out the door feeling very sick to my stomach. This was so uncaring and unprofessional. read more

Two months after my son's surgery They claim THEY coded incorrectly.....Sent ANOTHER BILL based on THEIR mistake and want MORE money?? Proceed with caution with this medical center I have a ppo and they tried to charge me an additional $775.00 and their excuse was utter bullshit Then the surgery time was messed up and I still had to pay a copay of $225.00 and guess what The doctor was not able to complete the surgery but my insurance was still charged and so was I I WANT MY MONEY BACK Especially since the doctor informed me that I have to have a different surgery to correct the problem which means a three day hospital stay and more loss of income At this point I'll never get back on my feet and back to work I'm on disability and my income is not good until I can return to work That 225.00 could have gone towards food and other necessities of life So go ahead and steal whatever you can from us After all it's all about profits Who gives a damn about the patients read more

Great facility. They have 3 parking spots against the building that are for the surgical center. Friendly staff from the time you enter the building to when you leave. The Waiting room can get very full. They seem to schedule a lot of surgeries at the same time. I think they have outgrown the space their in. Have your surgery somewhere else. This place has a nightmare billing office. Had me pay all upfront and then when my insurance paid, they kept my refund hostage for 6 weeks. Finally after finding out they don't work with a virtual payment and demanding to speak to a supervisor, Kat Bragg finally issued my refund. read more

Beware and check your insurance coverage yourself before checking in here. I had a procedure here back in September 2022 and was told by my doctor office to go in three days prior and take care of billing and have a COVID test. I did just that but was told when I got there that they would do all of that the morning of my surgery. I checked in prior to surgery and the bill they gave me was not correct, it was way more than I knew I owed, the biggest part being I don't have a co-pay for out patient surgery and they were charging me that. Now who is up for arguing about billing when you are having surgery within an hour? Not me, so I paid! So what do you know, my insurance pays them by mid October and Golden Triangle owes me just shy of $3,000 back. I have now made a total of 4 calls to them, one being with my insurance company on the phone with me! Each time they admit that they owe me back the money but there are various reasons it can't happen yet. The biggest one being some kind of delay in communication with the insurance about something that was coded incorrectly in billing them. Sounds like a problem between admin. and my insurance but somehow my money is being held hostage while they drag their feet getting the right communication code down with insurance. From my end seems like they have been double dipping for over two months now since they have been paid by insurance and me. If you have to go here for surgery I highly recommend demanding they do your billing days in advance so you don't end up in my situation. Here I am three full months after surgery paying a balance on my credit card for money I don't even owe, all the while being assured my money will be refunded, without interest of coarse. read more

Best medical experience I've had. Dr. Raghuwanshi was very professional when he performed my consultation and colonoscopy. I was very happy with him. I went in very nervous, but his staff and the nurses at Golden Triangle are all top notch. They made sure I was always comfortable and actually listened to me and my stupid questions instead of blowing me off and rolling their eyes, which I have received a lot more than I care to admit in the past. The colonoscopy procedure was painless and over before I knew it. Even the nurse that put my IV in was so gentle. She gave me a literally warm blanket pulled straight out of the warmer and asked me to let her know if I needed anything. The nurse that was beside me when I woke up was so sweet and treated me with respect and listened to me even though I must have sounded high. I felt like I was in great hands. Thank you all! I have faith in the medical system again because of you! Can't believe how worried I was about such a simple procedure. Easier than a teeth cleaning at the dentist!!! read more

Ok, Temecula Orthopedic Surgeons chose this facility to replace my knee. The biggest complaint first. Do not allow them to send you home the same day as surgery, big mistake. Although they seem to cover all the bases with you, their nurses and staff are competent enough, their facility is clean, care is appropriate. I was told my replacement went well, but the pain I went through that night at home, with only minimal amounts of pain killers prescribed and literally I didn't get a wink of sleep all that night, this could have been a different outcome if I had stayed one night at the hospital. The next night after increasing my meds I started to get some sleep. They say it was because of COVID and my surgeon is not blameless he could have recommended a first nights stay. I could have insisted as well but this is my first surgery ever at 66, besides a broken arm and tonsil removal when I was 8. Additionally, everyone needs to be on the same page, Nurses told me one thing, Surgeon and P/T Therapist tells me something else. read more

DON'T DO IT! Billing with them is HORRIBLE and complete NIGHTMARE! Paid up front and received a refund. When I asked about why I was receiving the refund, they told me that insurance said that I over paid, and then i recieved a bill for several more hundreds of dollars later. Not to mention the person who put my IV in did something wrong and caused me to be in much pain and bruised for over a month, and anesthesiologist was littlerly half a second from putting me to sleep and someone said something to him and come to find out Golden Triangle had not ordered the implants that was needed (cancer reconstruction) to have surgery. I ended up having to reschedule for over a month later, to have to be prepped and stuck again not once but twice because the person that was doing it clearly didnt know what she was doing, and luckily another nurse stepped in and she was amazing all the way around attitude and all. So, save yourself the frustration of dealing with this company! read more

But what is not great is the fact that they said I had to pay $900+ copay when I checked in and I was in so much pain and willing to do anything it took to get better, I paid it without contacting my PPO. I had knee surgery at this facility on Jan 31st. Let me start by saying that the facility is impeccably clean & the staff is Professional, Warm & Caring. The staff's bedside manner made me feel calm & at ease. From the minute my husband & I walked into the facility, Teri the receptionist was our first impression of the place. She was very friendly, soft spoken & she made me feel right at home. My Pre Opt Nurse Amy & my Operating room nurse Brandy, both were extremely professional & caring. My Anesthisiologist Dr Mitzutani ( most people are afraid of Anesthesia) was fantastic & reassuring, I feel asleep and woke up feeling good. My recovery nurse Gladys, I cannot say enough about. She made me feel like I had a friend. The following day, the follow up Recovery Nurse Shannon called me to check on me, I was very impressed, she also was extremely caring & professional. Most of all I cannot forget to mention my surgeon Dr Brooks, I was in good hands with his knowledge & expertise, he is a great surgeon & you can tell he enjoys his career. This is a very nice, clean facility and I was impressed with how much they care about quality patient care. Dr. Pollack was great as was the anesthesiologist assigned to my surgery. I received excellent care at this surgery center. The front office was professional, the center was clean, and the nurses were excellent & caring. My daughter started to pass out when she saw me in recovery and then had a panic attack and the nurses were phenomenal with her! Had to have my gallbladder removed. Dr.Essiens office called on Monday 2/26/18 to let me know there was a cancellation and they were able to get me in on Tuesday!! I jumped at the chance to get this done. From start to finish this office was amazing. Only negative was that nobody contacted me to tell me the cost of my surgery. To be honest I hadn't given it any thought. I assumed most would be covered by insurance. I figured whatever wasn't covered would be billed afterwards. I was asked to pay $1500 ( my share after insurance) that day for which I was not prepared. I had to sign a promissory note for the amount and agree to pay by a certain date. So that threw me for a loop. Once we got past that everything was smooth. The front desk gals were very sweet the nurses before and after were so awesome. Everyone from the anesthesiologist to the doc that did the surgery was so kind and made me feel very comfortable. If you have a choice on where to get surgery I would definitely recommend this location. read more
