I was referred to Paradise hyperbaric by my doctor after having complications with tissue and blood flow with my recent surgery. My doctor originally wanted me to do five sessions and after my third session, I had my follow up with my doctor, and I was told that I was going to make a full recovery that I am already completely healed. As someone who has a pretty strong sense of claustrophobia, I went a bit weak in the knees when my surgeon told me that I should get some hyperbaric chamber treatments. He wanted me to help the healing from my surgery to progress, in order to get the best outcome. I have to say that Carlos and his team helped me to feel very comfortable and their new, state of the art equipment is completely see-through and very comfy. I was fearful it was going to be like the old-school chambers from the Navy where there was only a tiny window to see out. But these are completely glass, with a large TV mounted right above. All I had to do was breathe deeply and enjoy watching a show and the hour passed very quickly. I obtained a 3rd degree lipo burn on my left flank. I had surgery 3 weeks ago and I see no changes except for worsening wound and looks like it's not healing. I started HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) at Paradise Hyperbarics and in 4 days of treatment I finally see some healing. I need more than 4 sessions, but I have to find more time in my busy work/school schedule along with a commute from Ontario to Temecula. The HBOT treatment is worth every penny and every minute I spend commuting to treatment. The owner and workers are very professional, friendly, and most importantly KNOWLEDGEABLE. I wouldn't put myself in the hands of someone who didn't truly know and understand HBOT therapy. I also liked that the chamber is glass and I didn't feel claustrophobic. It has means to watch tv (any channel/network) while inside of the chamber. I got some of the best sleep during treatment as well as afterwards once I was back home. I plan on getting more treatments there soon. I almost went to another place that has a soft shell chamber, but was soon educated those are in comparison to "over the counter treatment" versus REAL HBOT hard shell chambers which is compared more to "prescription like full service". On 20 September I had my left hip replaced. I was looking for a way to propote the healing and numbness in my leg. A neighbor recommended Paradise Hyperbarics. When I went in Carlos explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable with my new venture. I had 4 sessions in a row to inundate my system. These guys are great, I came here pre-surgery, and then for two weeks post operative. I was in an excruciating amount of pain and extremely uncomfortable, they accommodated me incredible. Every time I had a treatment my pain went down and felt significantly better, I never felt embarrassed or ashamed walking in there with my hospital gown, and my hair a mess. The staff are great happy, the facility facility is the best. I highly recommend it for everybody. I was so fortunate to find Paradise hyperbaric. I completed a total of 27 sessions. I have Lyme Disease and have been very ill. My medical protocol - considered state-of-the-art - had not made much of a dent in in my symptoms. Frustrated, I sought out alternate methods of treatment on my own. I came upon a Lyme patient's blog and read about hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Lyme bacteria is anaerobic(does not like oxygen). How could it not help? Here is a list of the symptoms hyperbaric magically eliminated or minimized: muscle and joint pain, brain fog, Insomnia, headache, hemifacial spasms. Further, it is incredibly relaxing - I watched movies most of the time. It helps skin tone. It heals any cuts or injuries on Fast Forward. Carlos is very kind, knowledgeable, and takes his time to make you feel safe and relaxed in a really quaint environment. He literally knows everything you can think to ask about hyperbarics. Carlos and Jodi are so nice, kind, and know their stuff very well. I have done 10 treatments thus far and by the time I had my 3rd treatment I was already seeing results. I was seeing results like sleeping better, the burning sensation in my legs and feet from Neuropathy went from a 9 to 2 on the pain scale, I am getting feeling and some sensation back to places I didn't have after my accident.
