Geico recommended Gross. Selected the Express Service. Informed the estimator that I had previously worked at a body shop. Very affable and said the damage was so minor he would probably send my BMW to the body shop same day. Fast forward 2 weeks. Why is this taking so long. Answer-you selected the Geico Express Service which takes longer. What?? Another week and asked where is my car? Waiting to go into the paint shop; sitting under a tree in a chain link dirt lot; just where anyone would park a convertible. When will it go into paint? Answer-soon. Started calling daily. Reception is now very unfriendly and snippy. It will get done when it is done. Another week and got the car back. Complained about the poor paint match (probably a too thin pearl color coat) and the misaligned bumper. I was stunned when the fellow says our work is guaranteed so you can bring it back anytime and we will fix it. Oh goody, another month hoping the work is done right the second time. Why Gross could not get the job right the first time is a mystery. Our schedule took us out of the United States for a few months so we paid another body shop to fix Gross's shoddy work when we returned.

Took it in to get new tires, and they did what you would normally expect from a mechanic, a laundry list of things to fix. After looking at it, I was going to wait to get the recommended items fixed when I got home, but after talking with them, and they said they could have it done by 10:30 the next day. I thought perfect, doesn't affect my timing with getting on the road. Boy was I wrong. The next day, they forgot to order one of the parts needed, so to save time we got it and brought it to them. Did that help, no. They kept pushing the time back, and finally around 4pm we got it back. Had I known this I would have 100% gone somewhere else or waited until I got home, but I decided to trust them on what they said. That was clearly a mistake.
