That's nearly $400. per hour for just labor. The parts were $1068.01 , Shop supplies charged twice $60.oo, Tax $129.47, Total if cash = $2000.oo , but my ride had left, so I had to pay an additional $129.74 to pay with my checking account debit card ! They charged for a " Thorough inspection" But there is still something wrong with the wheels or tires. The calipers aren't even new . Looks like they wiped old ones down with oil and the caliper on the left is still tight.

Nothing worked. I have had it to at least 9 shops in 3 states, and it was never repaired right. I took it to Commerce Automotive. I told them that I had already spent more than $8k to try and fix it. They had already fixed my Silverado, and did a great job when I was here on vacation - now I live here. I told them that this was a "Hail Mary." If they couldn't fix it, I was going to junk the car - with 50k miles. They went to work. It wasn't easy. They were diligent. We ended up discovering that Chevrolet, across product lines, has a reoccurring problem with a wire that goes from the transmission to the shift lever. It is damaged most possibly by drinks in the cup holder of the car! Chevy knows, but they still have this problem with cars to even 2025 - never corrected it. The electronic diagnostic system doesn't recognize it, but directs you to a huge laundry list of other things. The part is $19. It is stocked in multiples at Chevy dealers, seemingly to indicate it's a reoccurring issue. If you aren't a Chevy dealer, you don't get to know about the problem. The car is fixed. I've put a bunch of miles on the car to make sure of the repair before I did this review. Runs excellent again. I knew they could do it! Commerce never gave up! Nicole, Louis, and the team are FANTASTIC! Commerce is the BEST!

I was referred to them by the staff of the used car lot and while waiting on AAA towing I spoke to their secretary who after lunch sent the owner and another tech out to my location. After being towed to their place I was told I needed a new fuel pump. They pulled up the schematic for my car, ordered and picked up the part, replaced the part and topped off all of my fluids all in about 45 mins. The price was cool and the staff nice & accommodating. We were fixed and on the road in 45 mins. I'm thankful for all involved in making this minor inconvenience.... smooth. Made it to New Orleans a few hours later and had of weekend of food and debauchery.
