Do most of my own car work, couldn't figure out what was wrong. Car would not start, kept wanting to turn over but would not. Checked everything i could with the tools i had at hand, found nothing. Had my car towed to Mac's and they told me it might be a few days, no rush, car wasn't going anywhere. After only 2 days they reached out, told me blown head gasket or cracked blocked and that it was pretty much toast. Unfortunate for sure. A great, trustworthy family owned repair shop. They might not be the cheapest in town, but they aren't expensive, and being able to drive your vehicle away confident about the repairs is worth every penny. They are always busy, and I always tried to drop my car of for the whole day, even if it was as simple as an oil change. I think they appreciated that, knowing if they got to an emergency, they could wait a little longer on my car. They were always willing to help explain what was going on with my vehicle and take the time to show me the parts, etc. If I had any questions, I knew I could call them up anytime without having to make an appointment. While living in Milton, I never went to any other place, and I wouldn't want to. Trust is earned and they have outdone themselves!! I started with a small task and they are my go to repair shop now. I thought I just needed brake pads but after looking at it they suggested rotors too. Brakes are important items and just one of those things you dont mess around. I have an older vehicle and know it will need upgrades and repairs...some modifications that improve its reliability.
