A number of months ago the check engine light came on in my vehicle. I called Able and they said bring it down and they could check it out for me. I did. Five minutes later they sent me off on my way.... It was a fluke. They reset the light and didn't charge me. Wow! What a great place! This is my new mechanic I thought to myself. Now it's time for an oil change, I called just before closing to set an appointment. They said if I wanted to drop it off I could just bring it in the morning and they'd have it done by the afternoon. That's what I did, and as promised they texted when it was done. My van has a heap of problems so they were honest enough to say it's not worth repairing all the other stuff but their solution to the immediate no-start problem, lasted 10 days and I was stranded in a parking lot again on August 17. When I called to explain that the new battery fix they diagnosed lasted 10 days, Ron said "Well, what do you want?" So much for 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. After using a well-known name brand service center for a couple years, and after being told my truck needed new brakes during a routine oil change, thought I'd try Able Auto, used by many of my co-workers. The location may not be impressive but the service is excellent and the rates much cheaper than the big name company. During one issue with my van, Able Auto worked tirelessly to diagnose and solve the issue without charging me hours and hours of labor for the additional time needed to troubleshoot the issue.
