Honesty. Rare today in many businesses. Took a 2008 Silverado with over 130,000 miles for brakes- and when they could have easily replaced all- they said I didn't need front ones- forgetting I had them replaced by a friend several years ago- ( I live less than 2 miles from work.) Also- took in one time - expecting a tune-up- engine running rough- No charge- said my gas cap was not closed fully! The result is they are now VERY busy, as the word is out how Honest they are. I called today and they asked if I could call them Tuesday-01-25-22- first time they might have the 'time' to check out my wife's car. They are worth the wait. read more

After getting a $1000 quote from a previous shop, I took my car to Profast for a second opinion. They were extremely honest and reassured me that I only needed $150 in work, that they couldn't even do at their store and recommended me to a discount tire. I took my car in to get an oil change before I went on a cross-country road trip because my usual place was slammed, and they tried to tell me that I needed an additional $300 in repairs before it was "safe for me to drive..." which was total BS. Wanted to charge me $799 for an oil leak and transmission leak. But said they would give a deal and do it for $699. Seeing as that's a lot of money I took it somewhere to get a second opinion. And the shop fixed my transmission leak ($500) for $60 .....I had been going to profast for years but I will never go back. I wish there was a option for 0 stars. I have been using profast for years. They are great. I have never had them quote me a high price and yes I shop around because money is tight. I don't know why other people have had poor experiences but mine have been great. Will continue to get my truck and my wifes truck serviced there for years to come. read more

My whole family goes to the one on Davis. Always fair, always nice. They are even willing to stay late for you if they can. Jeremy (the service manager) is honest and friendly and really takes the time to explain things to you in a way you can understand. Good auto maintenance shop. I just stopped in for an oil change, but the staff seemed friendly to me and quoted what seemed like a fair price. Parking can be tight, their lot is in the back of the shop and only accessible through a gate. If you come here during rush hour in the afternoon, expect to wait awhile. read more

I bring my van to Profast for all my repair needs. The only thing they don't do is tires. They do an amazing job.

I believed this shop to be the most honest mechanic shop in town for a few years until a few months ago. It was like opening a can of worms. I'll keep it short and sweet. These "mechanics" left out (or didn't torque properly) 2 of the 4 bolts that bolts my transmission to my engine block causing cv axle seal to leak (unknowingly to me) which caused significant transmission damage. $2000 for a transmission. They did not press the ball joints properly into control arms which is a SAFETY concern. When they replaced those ball joints they did an improper alignment and have my wheels camber positive which did significant damage to the outer tread to 2 $200 tires. The new manager mike when I came to him with these concerns completely refused to take accountability even though no other shop or person has worked on my car until I had the clutch replaced somewhere else and he sent me pictures of the bolts missing. Mike resorted to ad hominem by attacking my personal character instead of arguing facts. I have attempted to contact the owner with no luck. It seems to me this is one of thone shops that purposely does bad work in hopes you won't be smart enough to put 2 and 2 together and keep you coming back. My recommendation- if you want something done right go somewhere else. read more

I strongly suggest everyone to not go to this auto shop!!!!! They are nothing but liars and thieves!!! They basically robbed us for damn near 1100 dollars with all the work they were supposed to do on my vehicle. I went 3 times and I honestly thought that they were doing the services that I paid them for. However, I found out that they did not replace my brakes and rotor and kept my car there all day each time. I realized this when I took my car to my new mechanic and they removed my original brakes on my car from the dealership. I am a patient and understanding customer but what they did was steal, lie and did nothing but waste my time. Not to mention, I had to pay to get all the repairs done over again because they did absolutely nothing and pocketed the money!!! Please save yourself the time and aggravation and go to American Fast Lube and tell them Jeremy sent you! read more

My fiancé and I went here in a rush to get an oil change while trying to run time sensitive errands. The service was extremely fast, and the workers were pleasant and knowledgeable.
