If you've ever had car trouble while traveling, then you know how stressful it can be. The flat…read morepart actually wasn't that stressful even though it happened 10 pm! But the next day... I was driving from Florida to Texas when my tire light suddenly came on. One of my tires had lost all its air, and I was only about 45 minutes from the hotel I'd booked as my overnight stop. While I was waiting on the tow truck, I googled tire shop and luckily found Fisher Tire & Service was super close. It was the first place I went in the morning. They inspected my tire and told me I'd definitely need a new one. Unfortunately, they didn't have my tire size in stock, so they sent me down the road to another shop. Walmart didn't have it either, and after calling multiple tire shops within a 5 mile radius of the area I was in, nobody had my size. I called Fisher back, and that's when everything turned around. They realized they had my tire in their warehouse, and the receptionist offered to go pick it up herself. I wouldn't venture to say she was enthusiastic about it but that level of customer service meant a lot considering I was stranded away from home. The older gentleman who installed my tire was a lifesaver. He was friendly, got everything taken care of quickly once the tire arrived, and had me back on the road. I don't think he realized I know a thing or two about my car when he started asking about the wheel lock. Better ask about me! Well... he can't, because I don't know not one damn body in Pensacola. This whole ordeal set me back several hours from what I'd planned that morning, but I'm thankful this shop was nearby. Maybe it was heavenly intervention that I picked a hotel close to Fisher to begin with. I'll never need them again cause who's driving that long ass route again but if you ever have car trouble in the Pensacola area, check them out.

I trusted Blue Angel Tire & Automotive with an engine replacement on my commercial ice cream bus…read moreand deeply regret it. We dropped the bus off on January 7 and were told the repair would take only a few weeks. Instead, it took seven weeks, forcing us to cancel events and lose income. After getting the bus back, the engine failed approximately two months later. We returned it to Blue Angel Tire & Automotive, and the vehicle remained in their shop for most of May, which is one of the busiest seasons for our ice cream business. We were forced to cancel additional events and lost significant revenue. Communication throughout the process was frustrating. We frequently called for updates, and the responses we received often left us feeling that our concerns and the impact on our business were not being taken seriously. The delays continued throughout the second engine replacement. When the second engine failed after only about a week of operation, we were told a third engine might be necessary. At that point, we decided to have the vehicle towed to another mechanic. After inspecting the bus, the new mechanic identified several installation-related issues, completed the necessary repairs, and the vehicle has been operating reliably ever since. Overall, this engine replacement ended up costing us approximately $3,500 for the engine, $8,000 in labor, an additional $3,500 in repairs by another mechanic, and months of lost revenue from canceled events. It also put our reputation at risk with customers whose events we had to cancel. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend obtaining multiple estimates before choosing BATA for major engine repairs.

He's always been honest, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to get my car back on the road. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares about helping people instead of just making a quick buck. One thing that really stood out to me was that he worked on my car in the pouring rain and in the heat without ever complaining. Even after losing his old shop, he never stopped helping his customers. He's continued doing everything he can to provide great service, and that kind of dedication deserves recognition. If you're hesitant because Yelp still shows his old location, don't let that stop you. He's still in business--he's just at a new location. His actual address even though the Yelp throws you off is: 2621 Gulf Beach Hwy Pensacola, FL 32507 United States I can't recommend him enough. If you want someone who's hardworking, trustworthy, and truly cares about his customers, this is the mechanic to go to.

I took the vehicle to East Hill Automotive Center, and Ryan was the biggest blessing to us. He diagnosed the problem, which I later confirmed with my mechanic back in my hometown, and he very clearly laid out the situation and what my different courses of action were. My wife and I were very distraught - learning that our 10 year old car that we had bought 3 months prior had a blown engine and we didn't know how we were going to get home or get through our vacation. Ryan helped me approach the problem confidently (when I felt helpless) and went above and beyond to walk me through his recommendation for proceeding. His advice yielded the dealership I bought the vehicle from paying for 50% of the repair. I recommend East Hill Automotive Center to anyone looking for quality, honest mechanics.

I took my Volkswagen Jetta to this auto repair shop because I was having an issue with my vehicle…read more I paid $500 for a diagnostic, and after having my car for weeks, I was told the issue was related to a recall on my vehicle. I took my car to the dealership to have the recall addressed, only to be told that the recall was not the cause of the issue I originally brought my car in for. The repair shop also replaced a battery cable/cord, but unfortunately, that did not resolve the problem. When I went back and requested a partial refund for the diagnostic since the diagnosis was incorrect and the issue remained unresolved, they refused. I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled. I understand that diagnosing vehicle problems can sometimes be complicated, but I paid $500 expecting an accurate diagnosis and a solution to the problem. Instead, I was without my vehicle for weeks, paid for a repair that did not fix the issue, and was left with the original problem. Based on my personal experience, I would encourage anyone considering this shop to get a second opinion before authorizing expensive diagnostic or repair work. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my experience was handled professionally or that the service provided was worth what I paid.

I took my Volkswagen to a different auto shop down the road and was told I need a new transmission. They said they couldn't find the part and would have to order it which would take 1-2 weeks. Being on vacation, I didn't really know what to do. After calling around, a transmission shop recommended I call Palafox Imports. I had my car towed from the auto shop to Palafox Imports and, within the hour, they had found the issue with my car: simply a 2 inch long connector that had come off. They were so honest explaining everything with detail, even giving me helpful tips and info on how to care for my specific car, and sending me on my way, same day. If you own a European car, trust me and don't go to a regular mechanic. You will end up wasting your money in the long run as they'll give you the quick expensive fix which might not even fix the issue. Put your car in the hands of guys who have the knowledge and experience of working with these kinds of cars and therefore know what they're looking for.
